Desmond had actually pondered the idea of ringing Klyde's neck when Mitsu came up with the idea of visiting the blonde vampire's 'humble abode'. Everything about it had screamed 'DANGER, DANGER!' and 'THIS IS A BAD IDEA. TURN AND WALK AWAY!' And at first he'd actually refused. Told her he'd take her anywhere else she wanted to go...

But then he realized Shun would probably go anywhere else WITH them as well.

It had been a tough call. On one side, he would have to let Mitsu in to his obviously insane house to meet his obviously insane parents and perhaps figure out how mentally unsound he himself was.

On the other... Alone time. Sweet, delicious, unrequited alone time. Just the two of them, free to do whatever the hell they wanted without a pissy little parrot on her shoulder.

You can guess which side won.

"Alright." Desmond looked away from the window of the small limo and over to his 'date'. "When we get there, know that you don't have to answer any of my parents stupid questions. If it makes you feel awkward, just nod at them and we'll move." His tone was a little nervous... Like the rest of him.

----

Much like Desmond, Riyo was nervous about the little exchange that was happening... For different reasons. While yes, she looked forward to touring Klyde's house... She felt apprehensive about possibly meeting his parents.

After all, that scar on his neck was her doing. She remembered how his father had reacted to it... If they found out that had been her...

... She supposed all bets were off.

Though, meeting his sister would be interesting. Riyo was, by no means, used to kids... But the picture Klyde had shown her of Claire had been too adorable. Maybe her love for cute things would outweigh the tenseness of having to deal with a child.

Mitsu was already in wonderment sitting in the limo. At first she had been rather nervous since she had never ridden in one before, but after a few short minutes her curiosity got the better of her and she started to explore, at least as far as she could without really touching anything. She was like a curious child checking out every little thing before peeking out the windows to see where they were at.

"What kind of questions will they ask?" She seemed amused at the idea that she would get to talk to them. For the short bit that she could remember...from Halloween...they had seemed like nice people. "I'm sure everything will be fine." She smile a little finally looking over at Desmond.

It was nice to spend some time with him on their own, but she wished Shun was here. They had all three spent a great deal of time together so it felt a little weird not having the assassin here. While she felt she was nearing the end of her mental battle over the feelings she had, there was still something holding her back. She couldn't quite put her finger on it. Maybe it was the fear of being hurt again or maybe it was the commitment. In her mind Shun had made it fairly clear, despite his confusing actions, that there was no chance of a relationship....but what did Desmond and her have? He had never really asked her out before...but would he? Though, Mitsu wasn't so certain the title of the relationship was important...or at least she thought. To a point all of it made her head want to explode. Thank god the medicine Suto had given her had calmed down the violent and erratic thoughts she had been having.

----

Looking over from the driver seat of his Bugatti Veyron, Klyde tried to judge Riyo's reaction to all this. Instead of having someone pick them up he had decided to drive them, though it was a little bit of a trip to his house.

"You nervous?" He tried to ask with a slight smile. "I'm not really sure if my parents will be there or not, its hard to guess what their work schedule will be."

Focusing back on the road, Klyde tried to think over anything that he would need to warn her about. "If Claire bothers you at all, just let me know. She's really sweet but we really don't get many....guests at the house."

"They'll start off with small talk. Where you from? How are you? How did you two meet?... Then they'll probably get into the unsettling questions you really never thought about and probably don't want to answer." Desmond tried to describe it in a vague way that made sense, not wanting to really go into details should the problem not arise.

But at least Mitsu seemed excited. And apparently the limo was a good choice... Not that he'd ever think about actually picking her up in the car his parents had given him. They may have considered it a classic, but he thought of it as nothing but embarrassing. "You have more faith than me then." He sighed, patting her knee and glancing out of the window. "Just promise you'll take everything they say with a grain of salt. They're... More than a little weird.

And it looked like they were almost there anyways. Oh how Desmond dreaded this...

---

"A little." Riyo answered honestly, slightly preoccupied with looking over the car. Never in her life had she been in such an expensive hunk of metal, and it seemed like she was trying to make the best of it. "I didn't know you could drive." Or that he had such a smoking car.

If Riyo was going to be attracted to an inanimate object, it probably would've been a sports car and the one they were riding inparticular. "I'm sure she'll be fine." Riyo assured, peeking under the seat for the hell of it.

The tip of Mitsu's tail began to wag when they entered the large neighborhood, her eyes going wide at the houses they had here. Everything was.....HUGE. Her house was probably as big as some of the garages that some of these houses had.

"Don't worry so much, Desmond." Mitsu smiled at him shortly before she re-focused on the houses passing them by. "I'm sure most people think their parents are weird." She wouldn't really know though she did think her brother was weird. "Everything is so big here."

----

"I really don't have a need to drive a whole lot of places," Klyde shrugged. "I'd rather walk when I can."

Glancing over he saw Riyo looking under the seats and cringed not remembering what might be in the car. It was fairly clean over all so he never really thought to look under the seats to make sure there weren't any unforgotten items from long ago. There could be any number of things though he was hoping for nothing.

Well, Desmond had really been putting his opinion of his parents lightly. In truth, he thought they were psychotic and insane... But he couldn't deny there was probably some truth to her statement. "Yeah. People think if they have enough space, they can hide all their dirty little secrets, I guess." His opinion of all his neighbors wasn't particularly grand either... Since there were a couple other vampire families around too.

"We're here, sir." The driver called back to the two, pulling up to a large gated home with... Slightly creepy hedge animals on either side of the driveway all the way up. And were those flamingos on the lawn? Damn right they were.

As the limo came to a halt, there was a man that approached and held open the door for the two of them. "Welcome to my home, Mitsu." Desmond said with an awkward smile. He'd try to make the best of this... But there were no guarantees. The house itself looked pretty normal on the outside (y'know, as normal as a big house can be)... But the inside held much more.

Part of him was surprised his parents hadn't been waiting outside like lunatics for their arrival... Though he supposed it was a good thing. When the servant was done holding the limo door open for the two, he quickly moved to the larger door of the house. "Thanks." Desmond said quietly to the butler, ushering Mitsu inside. "ladies first."

-----

"Good exercise I guess?" Riyo asked, though she didn't really think he needed it... Being undead and all that stuff.

She visibly flinched as her eyes spotted something at the very back of the seat. Hesitantly, her arm reached under to pull out... A thong. Butterfly shaped... And see-through. Holding up her findings to him, there was a look of 'really?' was written all over her face.

"I..." Mitsu's brows furrowed a little unsure what to say to that. It wasn't what she expected as a response. Falling silent instead, Mitsu continued to watch the houses pass one by one until they finally turned into a driveway. The hedge animals caught her attention right off the bat, she had never seen such a thing outside of the movies before, it was surreal. They left her with an odd impression though, despite their seemingly innocent nature.

When the door was opened for her Mitsu stepped out hesitantly eyes taking in the large house with awe. This was no house....this was a mansion.

Smiling back at Desmond as he welcomed her she followed him to the front door, eyes taking in everything like she had never seen it before....which mostly she hadn't. Well manicured lawn, servants, huge house, hedge animals....there was nothing like this where she lived. She vaguely remembered her parents having a big house, but her brother had sold it and got something more manageable for the two of them to live in.

Moving inside Mitsu took in the view much like she had the outside, with large eyes full of awe. The decor was something more suited to the seventies perhaps but it was nice all the same. It had its own unique look to it. Smiling a little more warmly at Desmond she tentatively reached out to take his hand so he could lead her around. "So where are your parents?"

---

Klyde shrugged, he had no real reason to walk, he just liked it better. Being in a car was rather stuffy though at times it had its perks. "Yeah, I guess you could say that..."

When it seemed Riyo had found something, Klyde furrowed his brow, "What did you.....o...oh....umm...those have been there....for a while." With one fluid motion he pressed down the button to open the window. When it was opened just enough he snatched the thong from Riyo's hand and threw it out letting them flutter to wherever they desired. Rising the window back in place, Klyde coughed awkwardly.

"Don't really clean the car....sorry." Well this was going smoothly so far. To bad his room was a potential mine field as well. "W..we're almost there."

That statement was very true because in a matter of minutes Klyde turned into a large neighborhood full of multistory homes. They were actually not far from Desmond's house, but Klyde decided to leave that information out for now wondering how his fellow vampire's little home visit was going. He had been a bit....mad when Mitsu had brought up going.

Pulling into a driveway shortly after entering the neighborhood, Klyde came to a stop just outside the four car garage. The house they were at looked like it would be better suited for Italy and just like most of the homes in the area it was huge. Stepping out of his car he waited for Riyo to follow so that he could lead them up the stairs to the back entrance, he was less likely to be followed by servants this way. "Come on, this way." He smiled hoping the thong issue had been forgotten.

Desmond silently watched Mitsu absorb the new surroundings like a goldfish that had just been moved from a small bowl to an aquarium. It was amusing, but he gave no hints that it was what he was thinking about.

As they moved to the inside, Desmond happily took her hand and kept a firm hold as if he was worried something might take her away. All the gaudy furniture and wallpaper made him cringe. Every time.

When she questioned where his parents might be, the vampire opened his mouth to speak which was about the time a call echoed through the big house. "My little ray of sunshine!" A feminine voice shouted happily from upstairs, the sound of heals clip clopping down the steps quickly following. Oh God. Why?

The first obvious sign Desmond's mother was around was the smell of strong perfume and hairspray. If it hadn't been obvious that his parents were... Of the retro variety... Looking at her poofed up hair and clothes made it obvious... At least it was the more attractive side of the 70's.

Without hesitation the woman ran up and gave Desmond a bear hug. Had this been on the street, people probably would've assumed she was his girlfriend because she appeared to be in her 20's.... Luckily that wasn't the case.

While Desmond didn't fight it, his face screamed 'get her off of me'. "I've missed my little man so much." Even though he was at least half a foot taller than her... "Are you alright? Have you been eating well?" Even though he didn't eat or get sick. "Are you tired? Need to rest after that long trip?" Really, it was just absurd that he had to do this every time he came home...

"No." He said simply. To which question really didn't matter.

As the lady pulled away from her son, those green eyes caught sight of Mitsu. He almost wanted to tell her to run... But it was too late.

With what almost looked like a gasp, the woman swarmed the girl. Looked like space bubbles were nonexistant as she gave Mitsu the same hug. "Look at you! You're so adorable!" The woman exclaimed, her skin as cold as Desmond's. "I could just eat you up."

A that... Little comment... Desmond facepalm'd. Smooth. Real smooth.

--------

When Klyde snatched the underwear away, Riyo folded her arms and watched as they flew out the window. It would've been appropriate if they snagged on something, but it looked like they were gone.

And then they arrived. Her eyes immediately darted out the window to take in the new sights and imagine the new smells. She hadn't been raised in poverty... But this was obviously the Ritz. Something she'd previously been alien to. "Christ..." Riyo mumbled as they pulled up to the house, completely forgetting about the thong as soon as she started examining the place.

Without hesitation, she fell in step behind Klyde, intent on staying close if they were going to be exploring this monstrous property. "How many times did you get lost in here as a kid?"

Mitsu's face perked up at the sound of what she assumed was Desmond's mother. She vaguely remembered seeing the woman at school, but she had been in a bit of a funk at the time so her general appearance came as a surprise to the wolf girl. It seemed it wasn't only the house that was themed in the seventies, but Desmond's mom made it work for her. She was pretty and very young looking.

Smiling awkwardly she watched the exchange between Desmond and his mother, amused by how gushy his mom seemed. She had to wonder if her parents would have been like that.

But then...that attention was turned on her. Eyes widening as the woman hugged her tightly, Mitsu cringed slightly feeling a few things pop. This woman was much stronger than she looked and just as cool to the touch as Desmond.

"Ah...t..thank you," Mitsu managed when she took in a breath. To the 'I could just eat you up' comment, Mitsu smiled nervously and laughed a little in much the same manner. She tried not to put much thought behind it since the woman obviously didn't mean anything by it...but it was an odd thing to say.

"It's very nice to meet you, Ma'am." Mitsu did her best to replace her nervous smile with a warmer one. It would be rude otherwise.

---

"I still get lost," Klyde mused heading up the stairs to the patio on the back. Everything was laid out in an odd type of brick, the surrounding walls lined with ivy that hadn't yet gotten back their life due to the weather. Sliding opening the door that seemed to be unlocked, Klyde ushered Riyo inside and closed it behind them.

The first room they entered was the kitchen and while it was neat and stocked with random things it was obvious it wasn't used often. Listening to see if anyone was nearby, Klyde relaxed when all was quiet. All he needed was to be bombarded by butlers and maids.

"Well, welcome," He smiled setting his keys on the island counter top. "I'm not sure who's here but I can give you a tour?" Thankfully his brothers weren't here. One was at college and the other was supposedly on a band tour.

"And so well mannered~" Desmond's mom added as she pulled away, a beaming smile on her face. "I've always worried about my little sunshine's taste in women." She mused, making Desmond cringe. Did she really have to call him that? How inappropriate was it to call a vampire a 'ray of sunshine'?

"Y-yeah. Well. I'm just gonna go show her around the house..." Desmond pointed in no direction inparticular, his feet ready to lead Mitsu away from this nightmare before things got awkward.

"I can go t-"

"No. That's fine." He cut her off quickly, a serious look in those cobalt blue eyes.

His mom seemed to get the hint, though her smile didn't falter. "Well, you two have fun then. I'll start making dinner when your father gets home." Waving to the two, she retreated back upstairs to do god knows what.

"Ugh.." He sighed when she was out of earshot. "I'm sorry. It only gets worse from there." Might as well not try to hide it from her. The situation would probably get worse when his dad got home. "C'mon. Let me give you the tour."

---

Still got lost? Was he being serious? She supposed it could be possible, but you think after growing up in a house you'd know every nook and cranny...

As they walked in the kitchen, Riyo noted how... Cleanly it was. And how unused it smelled. While it may have food in it, there was no scent of a previously cooked meal. Though she supposed she shouldn't be surprised. Not like they had to eat or anything. "It's... Really quiet." Riyo said softly in an attempt not to disrupt the peace too much.

"Tour away, Mr. McBane." an arm promptly locked with his at his offer of a tour, though her eyes couldn't seem to stay focused on one specific thing.
PostPosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 12:21 pm

As they left Mitsu turned and waved a goodbye to Desmond's mother. The first meeting had been strange but Mitsu rather liked her. "It wasn't bad at all." Mitsu tried to reassure as she smiled up at the vampire. "She seems really nice."

Nodding to the tour bit, Mitsu followed closely taking in the sights. "Every thing is so...." She tried to think of the word since she didn't use it often. "Retro? I've never seen anything like it." It didn't seem like she thought there was anything wrong with it, in fact she seemed rather mesmerized by the decor. "What's your room like? Is it like the rest of the house?"

----

"Yeah...I came in the back to avoid the butlers and maids, they tend to follow a lot when you first get here. I'm sure Claire is around here so the quiet may no-"

"Klyde!" A very enthusiastic voice came out of no where as if summoned by the very mention of her name. Running at full speed Claire came around the wall divider that separated the kitchen from the dining room and leaped with graceful ease into Klyde's awaiting arms. "I missed you, big brother." She pouted a bit wrapping her unoccupied arm around his neck, in the other arm she currently held a stuffed raccoon toy that looked like it had seen its fair share of adventure.

"Well, I have school you know that," Klyde smiled at the little girl holding her close. He seemed to have a different look about his face, almost parenting as he tried to pull her back a little. "I have someone here for you to meet." He turned so that Claire could see Riyo a little easier. "This is Riyo."

"Riyo?" Claire questioned turning to focus those large violet eyes on the feline. Her face was full of curiosity as she stared at the girl, her black ringlets falling in her face. "You have kitty ears." She grinned widely as if that was the greatest thing since sliced bread. "Can I pet the kitty?"

"Uh, no...no we do not pet the guests," Klyde shook his head setting Claire down, despite the fact that it looked as though she didn't want to be.

Once on the floor the little girl straightened out her overalls, her little blue shirt adorn with an overly cartoony looking raccoon that matched the one in her arms. Apparently there was a theme. "This is Rosco." Claire introduced the stuff animal. "He's a wizard."

'Seemed' was the keyword, Mitsu just didn't realize it. "Wait until 'dad' gets home." His father didn't want him to call him father. Dad supposedly sounded more fun. They were... Quite a pair together. Enough to drive what little sanity Desmond had off a 10 story building.

Walking her through the living room with an old-school big screen TV and more gaudy furniture, the vampire took her to a quiet, serene looking room. There was a large window pane with cushions and a notch out of the wall one could sit on and look out at... A garden... With a couple of gnomes hiding among the flowers. Creepy gnomes. At least the furniture in this room was a little more tasteful.

"My parents are sort of stuck in the past, but at least this room looks sane." And then she asked about his room..."It's... Not..." He'd meant to come home early and perhaps spruce it up, but Desmond supposed he couldn't hide it forever. "Sort of a mess... But I can take you there if you want..."

---

Riyo couldn't deny she felt her ovaries twist at the utter cuteness of Klyde's sister. This was made worse by the fact that they seemed so close... Stepping back slightly, she watched the two for a moment... Before attention was called to herself. s**t.

"Uh... Hi." She waved awkwardly. Not even while she was a kid did she hang around kids, so to say she was at a loss of what to do was a nice way of putting it.

The girl's excited face seemed to warm her cold, bitchy heart, though. Riyo couldn't recall a time when somebody had been that happy to see her. Subconsciously, her ears twitched as they were mentioned. Well, at least she didn't have to demean herself and let the girl pet her.

"A... Wizard?" Riyo repeated at the sight of the stuffed raccoon. "What kind of magic does he do?" It seemed like she was asking a serious question, as if she might believe the plush was really a wizard.
PostPosted: Tue Jan 11, 2011 7:20 pm

One thing after the other Mitsu's eyes took in everything as they walked as if trying to memorize their path. "Wow that's a big tv." A tv was yet another thing her brother and her never had. Ginji had no real use for something he could only listen to and Mitsu had never expressed interest in getting one not knowing what she was missing out on. They only thing they really had was a radio.

Coming into yet another room, this one stood out a little from the rest of the house. The furniture was a bit different and the view was nice despite the tiny lawn creatures peeking up at them here and there. With interest Mitsu moved away from Desmond to look out the window taking in the sight of the garden.

"Y...you don't have to show me if you don't want to," Mitsu said softly, not wanting to make Desmond more uncomfortable. He hadn't been too adamant about bringing her here in the first place but that had suddenly changed. She wasn't entirely sure why that was but it still seemed like he was nervous having her here. Maybe...she shouldn't have asked after all?

----

"Rosco controls time and space," Claire said in a matter of fact way. "Hey, do you want to see my room?" She beamed a smile so bright it was nearly blinding. "I can show you Rosco's friends and his arch enemy Mr. Bubbles. He plans to take over the world," But don't all evil villains? "I have stuff for dress up and I can do your hair." She offered excitedly.

"Claire, don't get too excited," Klyde warned gently, placing a hand on her head. "Let's give Riyo a chance to have a look around first before we get into all that." Turning back to Riyo he mouthed 'Don't worry she'll forget' as best he could. Apparently Claire had a short attention span....and Klyde knew of it well.

"Oh! Dad is upstairs in the study! She should meet him. He's yelling at his phone again. Something about money and a death wish." Claire's smile never wavered, obviously she didn't understand.

Klyde sighed a bit, "Why don't you go play for now, I'll find you after a while and we can do something together."

"Promise?" Claire pouted.

"Promise," Klyde smiled ruffling her hair.

Giggling, Claire pulled away. "You should come play to Kitty Riyo." But that's all the girl really said before she vanished into the house taking the raccoon Rosco with her.

"Sorry, I was hoping to have a calmer sister for you to meet."

"No Mitsu... It's okay." Desmond tried to reassure her, forcing a smile. "You wanted to see my house, and it would be rude for me to refuse." He didn't really want to hide anything from her... But in order to do that, he would have to let her see everything.

With a gentle touch, he reclaimed her hand, giving it a little squeeze. "C'mon. It's this way." His smile faltered as he turned to lead her out of the room and down a long hallway with many doors. there weren't many decorations. A painting here and there... but as it got further down, there was an obvious dead end.

The door at the end directly facing the two seemed a little... Worn. Like it had been painted over and over again.

"Um. Like I said... It's messy... " He added quietly, reaching in his pocket for a keyring. There was more than a few keys on there. One of them was obviously to his house, one to his room... And one to a car?

Though he didn't say anything about it. The lock took a little jiggling once the key was in, but after that there was nothing holding the two back.

An eerie creek followed the door giving way, though there was nothing immediately in sight. The room was dark... Except for a strange light from the corner.

As one's eyes adjusted to the poor lighting, the papers covering every corner of the walls came into view. Even on the ceiling. And on most of them were...

Drawings of death. People suffering. Corpses burning. Kinda like something you'd imagine when you walk into the room of a serial killer. But they were well-drawn, at least. If and when you were able to break away from that, there was the messy unmade king size bed with black sheets and a desk sitting next to it. While there was a window... It was covered by a heavy black curtain. The floor was hard wood and besides that, there was only one other thing to note...

An aquarium in the corner where the light was coming from... Occupied by a large snake who appeared to be well-fed.

"Uh... W-welcome to my room?" Desmond said nervously, his heart sinking at how bad this probably looked to her.

---

This was cute to the point of being sickening. Riyo quietly watched the exchange between the little girl and her brother with a small smirk. She didn't even have to say anything. It all just flew over her head.

"Okay." Riyo agreed quietly and waved goodbye as the girl disappeared.

When Klyde apologized, Riyo shrugged. "No harm done. I've just never been around kids..." She reluctantly admitted. "So uh... My interfacing is probably a little off-key." It was her way of saying 'If I ******** up, I'm sorry in advance.'

"... Are we gonna see your father?" She held back a cringe as she asked, though obviously the feline didn't appear excited.

Hand reclaimed, Mitsu followed Desmond closely down the hallway. There wasn't much to look at but Mitsu's eyes lingered on the few things there was to see. The decor was very different but Mitsu found she rather liked it.

When they came to a stop outside an old tattered looking door, Mitsu watched Desmond pull out a set of keys. There were more keys than necessary for just his house and this room, but that wasn't her primary focus. "You lock your room?" It was a curious question. It seemed odd to her for him to lock his room inside his own home.

As soon as the door creaked open in an ominous way, Mitsu peered inside and immediately caught sight of all the artwork. So maybe this was why he kept his room locked? His room compared to the rest of the house was like night and day. Eyes going wide trying to take it all in, Mitsu took a hesitant step passed the threshold, Desmond's words a murmur to her ears. The general theme of each piece seemed very dark and she quickly realized they didn't end with the wall but continued up onto the ceiling.

"Y...you do draw really well." She finally said after a few moments of silence. It looked as though she was a little overwhelmed by it all but that was a much better reaction than what she would have had only months ago. Things of this nature would have made her cringe and cower but now she wasn't even sure it would warrant its own nightmare. Someone else already occupied those.

Finally tearing her eyes away from the pictures Mitsu took in the rest of the room in a daze, the first thing she really saw was the terrarium. "Y...you have a snake?" Her voice sounded a little off in the beginning, still in a bit of shock, but the tone picked up in the end sounding more like perked interest. She wasn't afraid of snakes like most girls, in fact she found them rather fascinating. People were often much more frightening.

----

"Don't worry, Claire doesn't get to really see a lot of people outside of the people that work here....so she might be a little off key herself." As for his father. "Uuh....we'll....save that for later." He really would like to avoid his dad if possible, though he knew the old man would only be angry if he found out he was home and didn't check in.

"I'll show you around first." Leading Riyo out of the kitchen he gave her a general tour of the house. The inside was very modern and set in deep dark colors that carried from room to room. There were pictures here and there, mock family photos though the smiles were obviously faked. It gave Riyo a chance to see his family....without seeing his family. He liked it better that way.

"And this is my room," He came to a halt outside a dark red door. Turning the handle he went inside first and flipped the switch covering the room in a faint lighting all around. Klyde's room looked no different than a normal teenage boy's room, other than it was clean. Though that wasn't so much his own doing as it was the maids. He kept his stuff neat but not as neat as it was. The walls were adorned with posters of rock bands and pin-up girls, in the corner was his desk and computer set up and his bed sat off to one side covered in black satin sheets. One thing that did stand out was the repeated theme of skulls. Klyde had them on everything. His computer, his rug, he even had a black skull shaped candle that had burned down to the point it looked like it was crying black ooze.

Over all the room was still very dark but there was one missing feature that made it that way. There was no window. Either the room never had one or it had been boarded up and covered over to look like the rest of the wall.

"Make yourself at home?"

"I don't like them coming in while I'm not here." The 'them' Desmond referred to was obviously his parents.

Though... He was mildly surprised when Mitsu didn't freak out. "Thanks." He'd been doing it since he was old enough to hold a pencil, so he supposed it was just a natural thing anymore.

Oh, yeah. The snake. "Y-yeah. Her name is Roxanne." Slowly approaching the terrarium, he took the lid off and reached in to pull out the snake that was at least a few feet long.

Roxanne, as she had been deemed, didn't seem to mind at all. Her tongue flicked to taste the air, head coming up to meet Desmond's. The snake itself was a stunning green color with white stripes and appeared pretty calm. "Would you like to hold her? She doesn't bite."

Riyo knew what that was like... Sorta made her feel for the little girl.

Well, at least they wouldn't be seeing his father. Thank God for that.

Her face seemed to be thoughtful as she stared at the paper tits, having a seat on the edge of his bed. "Nice wall boobs." She finally commented with a smirk.
