Which game was your favorite? Why was it your favorite? Which game did you like the least and then why again? Whose your favorite character, whether playable or not. Whose your favorite villain (Anyone who goes all "Sephiroth is the bomb, I love'm and wanna spawn his dark children, he pawns all." will suffer... ETERNALLY. *Big scary anime face*)? Lets talk Final Fantasy.

FFTactics and FFIX rule. I love FFTactics because it's so full of variety when it comes to characters that it really does let you make your own team AND the story is also very great. FFIX is awsome... I'm not very sure, I just like the game ^.^

The game I like the least is FFVII. I don't really know why, but I'm guessing it's because I've seen so many FFVII fans diss all the other games and praise FFVII as the best, that I just have trouble liking the game, even though it is great. IT's preference and opinions. scream

My favorite character of all time is my FFTactics Summoner/Time Mage, but since I can't even remember her name (haven't played FFT in awhile) I'll ignore her and go straight to the other omnipotent woman of my heart, Beatrix. She's not only an awsome warrior, but she's a good healer too. My favorite villain if I ignore an old and very odd crush, would be Sin/Yevon. He's not destroying the world, he's just roaming about and destroying everything in sight, while FFVII and VIII and IX villains want to destroy the world... And these normal people, cept FFIX, destroy almost all powerful beings... It just doesn't make sense, while summoners have always been destroying Sin with their almost all powerful creatures, and finally humans kill something that's just a summoner. That makes perfect sense, and me happy...

P.S. Although I'm not very fond of FFVII because of crazy fans, but the game was still great like all Final Fantasys after starting with 7, and I'm looking forward to the movie a LOT.

FF7 is a bit overrated but it's still my favorite!

I say for gameplay though, I really enjoy FF10 and FF10-2.

They each have their ups and downs though...it's hard to say. FF1 is still my favorite in many ways 'cause it's the only one that actually offers any challenge. (IMO anyway)

I still think Scarlet should have her own video game! LOL she's an evil b***h, how could you not love her?

O.O Hun... Have you ever thought about the fact that you RARELY see Scarlet. *Thinks about Beatrix.* But... well... NM. *Huggles my Beatrix plushie.*

You sorta do... If you count the cat fight between her and Tifa... and then when she's in the robot thingy with the fat dude... *Pats Sam* Poor you, it's just not the same, is it?

The slap fight was a nice treat but I wanted more!

I wanted a long-intense-end-of-disc type boss fight like what you got with Beatrix. Now that rocked...I remember Beatrix gave me a Game Over the first time I fought her. That woman has some serious power.

Yeah she does. I wanted to see her and Kuja fight in a FMV sequence SOOO bad... and I know she'd have kicked his arse too. whee

Beatrix was a very 3-dimensional character too. I love Scarlet and all but I admit she was basically a bitchy one-note.

Bitches are great too ^.^ I mean I've based entire characters on being a pain in everyones arse, and they're fun to play. *Remembers a Goddess named Bliss, who was so evil she got everyone pissed. When they tried to do something about, she grinned and made everyone say "Oh s**t".* Yay for poetry!

I was goint to make a thread like this, but gaia was messing up and i copuldn't >_<
I've actually only played X, X-2, and the remade versions of 1 and 2.
X is preatty awesom, cpt i'm having problems with Seymour2 bc i'm way underlevel
PostPosted: Fri Feb 03, 2006 5:59 pm

I love X for it's graphics and X-2 for the Yuna sing alongs blaugh Sometimes when I'm tired or depressed I'll click on the game and go to the Luca Theatre and watch them. I mean who doesn't feel better after watching beautiful graphics and hearing great music at the same time ^.^

Oh... and I don't like Seymor... What you do is Limit Break all your Aeons except Bahamut, and Limit Break Yuna, then when you enter battle just unleash Aeon Limit Breaks over and over again until he admits defeat... Then do the same thing over again for all Boss Battles... Just remember that Leveling up DOES help a lot..... But who is in your party for FFX?

Yes, bitchy characters are so fun to play. For me it's like I get to be somebody that's basically the opposite of my own personality so I get to explore my own 'dark half' without really hurting anybody because it's just a fictional story. Scarlet has good qualities...she's very confident, I wish I could be like that (without the bitchy parts).

BTW, for the last boss fight in the game you really should have Yuna's auto-life spell. I know FFX can be really hard if you don't put a lot of time into it. The battle system is very tactical...but I like it.

Yuna Holy! Lulu Flare! Rikku Steal, then use Shadow Gem! Tidus... Haste All and use Limit Breaks!

I didn't over level my characters, but when I went to go fight Omega Weapon, the dude in the cave, I was almost to the boss and a malboro thingy kicked my @$$... But I beat the final boss with ease.

I did all the extra crap in FFX...it was very time consuming.

The monster arena part is very fun...I finally beat Nemesis. PS: Teach everyone the 'Quick Hit' skill for the monster arena and you also should be ridiculously leveled and EVERYONE should know auto-life, not just Yuna... Break Damage Limit is more important than Break HP Limit although it can be fun trying to get every armor for every situation so the fights will be easier...

You get some really cool absorb-elemental stuff from the first extra boss. Also one of the mid-level bosses gives you Triple AP crap. That's VERY handy...get everyone a Triple AP weapon and then head out to the Omega Dungeon for some serious leveling...

I think next time I play I'll try to make more customizable characters...I really want to turn Tidus into more of a White Mage and I really like it when Yuna can kick a**. It's fun to play around with the character classes although...I don't know how practical that would be getting everybody exactly the way I want it. My Lulu is still rather too weak.... there's a really good way to redo the sphere grid, maybe I'll download a guide later and try it out.
