Still, his research of the land was far from done, there was so much more to see and today he was heading to the mountains which always had a ray of steam raising from them. He had heard rumors that they were relaxing and it was mainly what two leggers bathed in. He had grown curious about this peculiar topic and wanted to see it for himself. Surely, wouldn't they burn? He raised his brow in thought, stretching out his glorious angeni wings so they shone brightly in the sunlight. By the time he reached the opposing mountains it would be nightfall and now, he was only just approaching the fork river that he would then follow to get there. He could of just flown but you never know what you may learn accidentally on the way. Flying in his mind, was an antisocial way of traveling unless you were with other flying creatures.

Felia had just completed a circle around a wide tree when an odd reflection caught her eye. Her eyes must have decieved her because she was positive she had just seen another soq, but with angel wings.

Alex had no idea anyone had seen him, the area around him looked practically deserted. He stopped at the river's edge, looking down in to the reflection. He had to squint, tilting his head off to one side as a patch of sunlight danced across the surface, hurting his dark eyes, where the whites had been replaced. He gave a small snort of protest, making sure to be much more careful and avoid the parts that were as white as the clouds, in it's attempt to blind him. Moving a couple more steps to the right, he then lowered his head, drinking from the rivers contents. Small fish were swimming around tumbling by rocks and scattering as his ears swiveled at their splashing and sudden movements.
A smile came across his lips. He lifted his head once the thirst had been clenched, staring over to the mountains. They were now bigger, except at the same time they felt like a forever away. He gave a light groan, already the traveling had exceeded his 'too big of a job' attitude and was figuring out how much effort it took to get to places. He never put tabs on where he was going, which was why most of the time the walking and sinking in to endless thought never really bothered him. Now he knew exactly where he wanted to go... The path seemingly endless.

The angel didn't seem to notice Ofelia but she saw him. The angel confused Felia. Surely she dead, and if she wasn't dead why was she looking at an angel. Felia quietly took a few steps towards the majestic stranger. He had stopped to drink from the stream, and that was when she noticed his tail. Felia had heard of unicorns, and he definately had a unicorn's tail, but he had no horn. Well, that's odd. Ofelia thought.
The angelic stranger intrigued her. He was part unicorn, but he looked like an angel. How could that be? She tried to get a better looked, but stepped on a stick which broke under her step. -Crack- Felia's eyes widened and she hid behind the nearest tree. Peaking around the trunk she gazed upon the figure once more.

Hmm..? Alex turned his head at the sound of a twig snapping, his ears flickered although there was no one there, in plain sight that was. He looked to where he heard the sound come from only just catching the small head of another peering around at him. Were they frightened of him? Or intimidated? He wondered, it made him give out a light laughter, his lion like tail skimmed the water gently as he turned to face in the direction of the other who was watching him.
"Theres no need to be afraid~" He threw out his voice loud enough for her to hear, clear and strong. When he was younger the only female company he had were his sisters, who were always teasing him and telling embarrassing stories about him to other girls, since he had grown older, most of his encounters had been with females. He was starting to become more comfortable with them, than he was with 'guy' friends. A charming smile filled out his features, hoping it would be friendly enough to lure the mare out from hiding.

The angel turned to look at Ofelia. He gave a light melodic laugh. If if wasn't an angel he sure seemed like one. His tail swiped the water gently, splashing a few drops. -Plop-plop-plop. The water drops landed lightly as if they didn't want to disturb the kind figure looming over them, they landed almost respectfully.
The angel, still refusing that he was a a soq, called to her. She wasn't afraid she just hadn't wanted to startle him and she told him so. "I'm not afraid sir I just didn't want to disturb you" Ofelia gave the stranger a beaming smile as she walked out from behind the tree. She gave a tinkling laugh and practically bounced over to the stranger. Ofelia couldn't help trusting the angel, her lively personality wouldn't let her, he just seemed trustworthy. Felia's eyes sparkled. "I'm Ofelia, but you can call me Felia if you'd like, or any other nickname you can think of for that matter," she said cheerfully. Ofelia truly wanted to ask the stranger if he was an angel, but she felt that may be awkward or rude.
Felia couldn't help herself. "Are you an angel?" she asked cautiously successfully restraining herself from bursting and blurting her question out. She looked into the strangers hyptnotizing eyes awaiting an answer. His eyes had no whites, unusual but perhaps common for an angel, either way she found them lovely, something to be prized.

Alex was surprised by the bubbly nature of the mare that bounded towards him, all full of smiles and words. He had missed that feeling, his family members were just as energetic. If you added wings upon her back, he could of mistaken her for being one of them. Sir... His ears swiveled back. It made him sound so old, yet training to be a knight, would have to become used to it. "Felia." He finally spoke, tipping his head in a nod to her. "What a pretty name."
"My names Alexander but you can call me Alex~" He chuckled, her laugh being infectious. He took the time to study the mare as they stood close, she had tassels that hung by her ears and a material rug hung carefully over the center piece of her back - it could have only been woven by one race, the two leggers. He took note, finding it fascinating, even more when his eyes settled on her short fluffy tail, making sure to quickly direct them back to her emerald eyes, stood out by the markings that rounded them. He didn't want her to think he was staring...
At the strictly to the point question, he smiled, thinking about it some. He had told this tale before but short and sweet would serve just as nicely as it had before. "You could say that." He fluffed out his wings, all four wide and sunlit. "My family has a strange history. I suppose the correct term would be 'fallen angel' as sad as it sounds." He kept his eyes on her, her curiosity not foreign.

Felia noted that his ears twisted at the word sir. Perhaps he doesn't like being called sir she thought I for one wouldnt want to be called ma'am, or even madame. Felia unconciously wrinkled her at that thought. Felia cheerfully smiled at the compliment. "Thank you. It is by far my favorite nickname so far. Much better than some I've heard, like Ofie." Felia shuddered, she detested that name.
"Alex. I like that name." There was a smile in her voice. "Did you know that it means Defender Of The People? are you a protector of sorts?" He seemed like a protector, I trustworthy defender, someone who wouldn't ever leave you when you were in danger. Ever. Alex looked her up and down his eyes resting on the blanket then tail. She liked the blanket but she really liked her little tail. Felia wiggled her the little puff of a tail. "Cute little thing isn't it?" Felia for one thought that her tail was cute. "Some say it looks like deer's. I think it looks like a bunny's. I like having a different tail, different from the regular soq. tail that is. What about yourself? Do you like your tail?"
After thinking about her inquiry he answered the question that she would really like to the know the answer to. He spread out his wings, she wished she had angelic wings like his. They were beautiful, Felia was awed by them. "Hmm. fallen angel. I've never heard of fallen angel before." despite his explanation Felia would continue to think of him as a regular angel, an angel with beautiful blue eyes.

"ofie..." He paused, seeing how it sounded on his tongue but he agreed, he liked Felia a lot more. It sounded elegant and lady like. "Yes, Felia is much better." He cast her a kind smile as she also complimented his own name and much to his surprise knew the meaning of it. "I did." His smile lengthened in to a grin. "My mother and Father chose holy names, names that apparently came to my mother through the whispers however my father named me." He nodded. "I guess some part of him knew I would do some good one day." He laughed lightly, it was probably his fathers sense of humor however they were all angelic creatures so what could fit better?
"I am a knight." He nodded, continuing to look in to her emerald's as she spoke, never turning attention away when it was deserved. He was taken back at her observation and that she had caught him staring curiously. "It does look like a rabbit tail. It is cute, very cute." He assured her before resolving to answering whether he liked having the huge lug of a tail on his rump or not. "I guess so." He tilted his head, letting his eyes sweep to attention on his tail, giving the end a swift slice through the air. "I don't think I would be as well balanced without it. It got annoying at first." He looked back to her, with friendly eyes. "But after a while you just sort of forget that it's even there sometimes." It probably sounded silly to the mare, like how could you forget something like your tail? But you did just get used to it.
The stallion was glad that she liked his wings, she kept tossing her gaze to them when they moved, he thought how she may take to his fathers and sisters head wings, they gave a very angelic appeal too. "Fallen just mean we have no right to heaven." He sighed lightly not wanting to continue on the matter feeling she may not appreciate the rant he looked past her to the mountain. "I was heading over to the mountain. If you would like to join me, Felia?"

"haha, told you Felia was the best." He smiled at her compliment and she grinned back, "Well you're parents did a good job choosing your name, it suits you." felia gigled "psychic is he?" she said jokingly.
"OoooOOoo. a knight, I should have guessed. That's really cool. What do you do? Protect families? Your family? Your herd? Others?" Felia was intrigued by his knighthood and was bubbling with questions about what it was like. A knight, how interesting. She smiled demurely, "Thank you." Her eyes followed his as he glanced at his own tail and then loooked back to her. She looked into his eyes. "I understand, I've never experienced having a long tail but I assume it provides balance, not to mention it looks very nice." She looked at the tail sweetly, "Your tail's not cute exactly but it's certainly lovely."
"Oh that's too bad, but I think its rather nice down here too don't you agree?" she said cheerfully. "Oh yes I'd love to come along!" She looked at the mountain dreamily. "Yes I'd love to come."

Alex smiled warmly at Felia, what she said was something that he sometimes didn't grasp, it was very nice down here and it held a special essence to the earth that the air never quite did. People always wished they could fly, when they didn't see how great it was to actually be apart of it rather than be above it. It was a great way of being optimistic and she certainly had that air about her. "It certainly is." He added as he gave another nod of his head. "I protect those who need my help. Anyone who is in need I will not turn a blind eye."
"Thanks." He added about the compliments to his tail, as he began to walk, grinning at the fact she had agreed to come with him. She looked just as interested as he in the mountain which would prove a mutual effort to get there rather than it just being another long winded journey when the need throbbed to know right there and then arised, that always made it harder to follow the path without breaking the walk. "That's good, making these journey's alone can be vexing." He gave a light sigh as he turned and then looked back over his shoulder at her, to show it was time to make a move then before darkness crept upon them.

Felia liked to be close to the earth. The trees, bubbling brooks, and trickling streams comforted her. It gave her a sense of security that she usually didn't have by herself. "That's very kind of you to do so," she supposed it was his duty as a knight but he did choose to be a knight, at least she assumed so.
She walked along side tall stallion with a skip in her step. She looked ahead at the obkect of interest, that being the towering mountain. It certainly had an intriguing air about it so she foubnd it quite understandable that he would want to investigate it. "Oh I agree" her head bobbed up and down. she wasn't particularly fond of traveling alone though that is often what she did. That's why when she meets another she always ready for conversation.
Not one to often enjoy silence when there was someone interesting to speak with she decided to find out more about this angelic creature. She turned her head towards him, and up some as well since she was shorter. She pondered over what to ask him as she looked at the side of his head, the sun was going to set soon but it glowed upon his white cheek, shimmering in the light. What to ask. What to ask. She decided that she could learn more about his past at a later date if she was so inclined and he felt the need to answer. She decided to start with the adventure at hand. "So tell me Alex, why are you so curious about this mountain?"
