This exhibition match, with a prize of fifty credits is between two of our older members. Shino Hatagoura, RP’d by our one time leader in total posts, Orchid Moon! Versus, Ezra The Mad, RP’d by a senior member of the Death Dealers, who made a horrible mess of Kumo which we are STILL trying to sort out, The Nerdbot! The crowd is wild in the stands as these two fighters enter the arena, waiting to see just what will happen!!
The arena is basic. A round arena of two hundred feet, smooth stone flooring and hundred feet high walls before you reach the bleachers. Scattered about the arena floor are large slabs of upturned stone, granting space for cover. Each fighter enters from opposite ends of the arena. FIGHT!

"Left foot, right foot, left foot...." Ezra the Mad walked, or rather strolled, onto the stage, going foot by foot. His arms swung at each side, and if one was looking from a distance, it would appear as if Ezra was walking on a balancing cord. His face bore a huge grin. To the young circus act, the XRP exhibition match was just another game. Ezra loved games. He jumped when he reached the center of the stage, reaching the other side of the cord in his mind. The loud cheering momentarily distracted him, and as he took a look around the stage and bleachers, the grin on Ezra's face grew even wider. The game was about to begin.

A few seconds after Ezra the Mad had entered the arena and reached the center of the stage the loud cheering suddenly faded away as a figure whom was shrouded in darkness slowly began to walk from the other side of the arena towards Ezra. As the figure moved, the light in the arena soon revealed who the mysterious figure was. Of course the crowd and Ezra knew who it was but it was always interesting to see a mysterious figure reveal its self. Once Shino's body had entered into the light in the arena she stopped and looked up and the bleachers above the arena, her long signature white and red hair along with her red headband waved around softly in a small breeze that happen to blow down through the arena. Even though she was considered a rookie in the XRP she was still known through out the world simple for her hair. It is said that before she became a ninja her hair was pure white but after a few years the tips of her hair began to change to a crimson red color, most people believe that the red comes from the blood of her enemies that can not be washed out but the true reason for her red tips is completely unknown. "Interesting.." She grinned lightly as her gaze soon turned from the crown to her new opponent. She wondered how good the people who ran the XRP were at stopping a fight before someone was killing, of course she would soon find out. She then began to crack and pop her joints as she slowly moved towards Ezra until she was also at the center of the arena only a foot or so from him. "So you must be the one whom accepted me challenge.. Hope you know what your getting your self into."(Only posting her pic once >.> I dont have a posting format or anything set up yet)

Ezra held a dumbfounded gaze as he looked on towards Shino. She was pretty. Real pretty. He stuck his tongue out at her after she spoke, his tongue being an odd red color, as if stained by blood. "Ezra is always ready for a game." Ezra slowly pulled out a kunai, spinning it in his hands masterfully. He was a pro at throwing knives, and while he preferred assassination, toying with his enemies was the reason he was so popular. He kept spinning the weapon in his hands, not yet moving. This was not for intimidation, not at all. Ezra had just lost his focus, and instead of fighting Shino, he was seeing how fast he could spin the kunai. It was easy to see that Ezra held a short attention span.
Suddenly, with no warning, Ezra flung the weapon towards Shino's right leg. The suddenness of the attack and close proximity was enough to catch anyone off guard, but maybe Shino was quick. Ezra didn't know. Before long, he pulled out a shuriken, waiting to see Shino's counter.

Shino's gaze held tightly on Ezra as she combed his body, normally she would do this from the shadows or in a tree. The search only took a second or two since she had no clue when he would attack and also did not want to get distracted with all the cheers and yelling from the crowd. She had no clue what tricks Ezra had up his sleeves but then again she didn't need to know, at the same time she had looked around at the crowd earlier she had studied her surroundings and made sure she had the arena memorised before she had began to walk towards Ezra. Once Ezra had stuck his tongue out at her, her muscles tensed up and readied themselves for the upcoming fight as she got into a simple fighting stance with her right leg back and her left leg up front. Her right hand rested on the steel sword that she had bought with her credits and her left was tucked in ready for a punch if needed.
Her gaze suddenly moved to the kunia that Ezra slowly pulled out and started to spin but her gaze was not completely focused on it, she remembered that just because your opponent has a weapon out dose not mean that that weapon is their only weapon. The moment Ezra flung the weapon towards her right leg, Shino's reactions reacted like clockwork. Instantly her right foot shot forward and up hitting the tip of the kunia on the tip of her shoe causing it to fly upwards at an angle and a little to the right of her head missing it by an inch but because of this, a small cut was in the top center of her shoe which may end up not being good. The moment after the Kunai hit the tip of her shoe she twisted her body turning the kick into a side kick which of course at this distance got close to Ezra but not close enough to hit him. Using the momentum from twisting her body for the kick she continued the spin and picked her left foot off the ground causing her to spin once in the air. As she did that her right hand unsheathed the steel sword and swung it straight down on Ezra with increased speed from the spin during the final portion of the spin. She knew that Ezra most likely had another weapon of some kind waiting for her but she knew it was not anything as large as a sword meaning Ezra would have to have all his focus on her attack or get out of the way then attack her.

Ezra, a bit amazed at Shino's reflexes, leapt to the side. Shino's sword had cut a bit of his hat, something that made him scowl. The tip fell to the floor, and as Ezra watched it fall to the floor, he suddenly filled with a bit of rage. "Thats not part of the game!" The young male threw his shuriken at Shino as she landed, the piece of metal heading straight for her right side. He had kept it in his hand for precisely this reason. Ninjas were always expected to use jutsus and the like. Weapons were just as deadly, if not deadlier. Ezra expected Shino to use her sword, but with such skill......troublesome indeed. Ezra gained some distance, not wanting to get within close distance of his opponent. He pulled out a few more kunai - three in his left hand, 2 in his right - and waited for Shino to get back up. He could have used his sword, but he didn't want to. Not yet at least.

Shino's eye's only lost contact with her target for just a moment but that was due to the spin she had just preformed, the moment during the spin that she was able to see in his direction her focus quickly searched for another weapon. She knew as a Ninja that you were suppose to have a weapon within quick reach at all times, this also went with what she thought earlier. Her opponent was loud, annoying, and not to bright though his aim was deadly. Just as she expected, Ezra threw a shuriken at her. She could not keep up this close to medium range fight with her opponent having as many weapons as he did, her best bet was to avoid all of his attacks while baiting him to attack her so that he would run out of weapons allowing her to get in close and personal. As her feet landed on the ground she turn the steel sword diagonally and swung upwards and to the right, when she did the tip of her sword connected with the center of the shuriken causing its flight path to be disrupted slightly. What would of been a direct hit in her right side ended up being a less harmful attack which cut the right side of her back just enough for the cut to draw blood. Without hesitation she quickly sheathed her sword and jumped backwards into the air, as she was in the air she quickly ran through a small set of hand signs showing that it was a low ranking jutsu she was attempting and spoke softly. "Kawarimi No Jutsu" With a sudden flash of white smoke Shino vanished leaving a decent size rock where she was just at. Shino herself had hid behind one of the large slabs of upturned stone. Due to her profession she was not completely hidden from her opponent.

As soon as Shino disappeared, Ezra's guard went up. This girl was hiding, meaning that she was either skilled in stealth or she was on the defensive. Either way, Ezra was fairly happy in the direction the match was going. Although he panned on doing something else - quickly killing off Shino -, he could adapt. Slowly cutting Shino to pieces wouldn't be that bad. After all, there was only so much places to hide. Ezra started analyzing each slab of earth, looking for any clues as to where the young kunoichi was. There weren't many pieces, and Shino was bound to be behind one of them, so Ezra was fairly safe. It would have been simple to look behind every one of them and engage the opponent in a battle. But searching wasn't Ezra's style. He would wait for his opponent to reveal herself, then kill her. Or, at least try. Simple as that. He decided to stand off to the side, mostly so he could keep an eye on each of the slabs. If he stayed in the middle, Shino could appear from anywhere, and surprise was supposed to be Ezra's forte. "Is this another game? Like hide and seek?"

Shino took a deep breath as she hide silently behind one of the many upturned slabs. She knew that she had to some how make the opponent attack her but without herself getting hurt from it. As she sat there she closed her eyes and listened carefully to her surroundings, but unexpectedly out of no where her opponent speaks out to her which instantly gave away his position. "Hmm.. not that far away.." She grinned lightly before quickly running through a small set of hand signs and speaking very softly. "Bunshin No Jutsu" Once she did, a Illusionary clone of her self ran from behind a slab a few feet away and ran towards Ezra with its sword drawn. After a second or so another clone ran out from a different slab then another and ran towards Ezra. Also at the same time as the last two clone, Shino ran out from behind her slab and proceeded after Ezra looking and acting exactly like her clones. Sure this was a simple trick but it was sure to get Ezra to get rid of a few Kunia or Shuriken.
Bunshin No Jutsu (Clone Technique)
Description: A jutsu that creates an illusionary clone of the user, in numbers of one or more. The clone disappears after being struck with an attack, and can deal no damage. This jutsu is one of the basics, and required to pass the shinobi academy.

Ezra's eyes shifted towards the first clone that appeared. To him, it was Shino. He threw a kunai at the clone, and only after did it pass through the clone unharmed did he realize what was happening. Tsk, little trick. Ezra kept his eyes alert. Clones were tricky, especially when used like this. As the young boy looked around the arena, another version of Shino came running up at him. The clones distance was too close to dodge or counter, so Ezra decided it best to defend. He raised up both of his arms in a ditch effort to defend himself. However.....however, when the attack was supposed to come, it didn't. Ezra's moved quickly. Another clone. Which meant.....
Ezra was able to find Shino moments before she reached him. He needed to stay far, that was his strategy, so without thinking, he jumped back. Huh, if this girl wants to be sneaky... Ezra performed a few handseals, his eyes kept on Shino at all times. She was tricky, that was true, and if they weren't trying to kill each other, he would actually consider asking her to be his tag partner. However, no one, and that meant no one, tried to fool Ezra.
"Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Technique)" A thick fog started to appear, covering not only Ezra, but the crowd as well. The air temperature decreased by a few degrees, nothing major, but surely noticeable to a ninja such as Shino. Ezra gained some distance from Shino, making sure to be absolutely quiet and unnoticeable. Since he specialized in stealth, Shino wouldn't be able to detect Ezra. This would mean that Ezra could have some fun. He threw a kunai at Shino's shoulder, the weapon moving silently through the air. He moved after performing the jutsu, which meant that the angle at which the kunai was thrown was different from where Ezra last appeared. Simply, Shino wouldn't be able to tell where Ezra threw the weapon from. Ezra, not wanting to take any chances, continued moving, leaping from rock slab to rock slab, no daring to put his feet on the floor. He was practically undetectable this way. Undetectable was good. Really good.

Since only two of the three clones were destroyed, Ezra would not be accurately able to tell where Shino was currently at as her and the clone continued to run at him. Shino like her opponent was keeping her eyes on her opponent the entire time, the moment Ezra began to preform a few handseals Shino and her clone instantly skid to a stop. As the think fog started to appear and cover the arena Shino jumped back behind one of the slabs, her clone suddenly vanished as the Kunai flew through it. "Dam.. Didn't think he'd use a jutsu like this.." Shino grinned slightly as she sat there with her right hand on the hilt of her sword, like her opponent she could not tell were he was at. Her eyes quickly closed as she took deep quite breaths and listened for any noise at all. She had heard of this technique once before and new it had two versions, genjutsu and ninjutsu but that really didn't matter at this point in time since she had no way of breaking the genjutsu if it was indeed the genjutsu but she did know for a fact that both of them were now 'blind'. As she sat their listening and waiting for her opponent knowing full well that the only way he would be able to find her is if he ended up getting up close and personal which would turn the battle greatly in her favour.
(Had to ask about the Genjutsu version of HiddenMist jutsu, Turns out its the same as the ninjutsu version but can be broken with Kai Meaning both our rpcs cant see atm.)

Ezra sighed as Shino escaped his clutches yet again. She really wanted him to fight offensively, something Ezra was getting closer and closer to doing. However, he was not going to give up. suddenly thinking of a plan, Ezra jumped down to the floor, landing on his feet, and looked up. The fog apparently had covered his vision to, which disabled him from killing Shino. Shino couldn't see as well, so they were at a bit of a stalemate. Well, not necessarily.
Performing hand seals, Ezra's plan started to form. "Henge no Jutsu (Transformation)" The jutsu was barely audible, and in a manner of seconds, Ezra was no longer the charismatic clown, but instead an upturned slab of rock. The fog dissipated as the arena came back in view, Shino no longer seeing a competitor on the field.

Shino slowly opened her eyes as she felt the coldness from the jutsu fade away, her gaze immediately began to scan the area around her while her ears listened for the faintest sound. "So.. he hid somewhere?.. well might as well draw him out.." She grinned lightly before quickly running through a small set of hand signs and speaking very softly. "Bunshin No Jutsu" Once she did, a Illusionary clone of her self ran from behind a slab a few feet away and ran towards one side of the arena and at the same time Shino ran towards the opposite side. Both Shino and her clone ran with their right hands on their sword and looked around as they went. Her plan was pretty simple since her opponent had already done something similar such as moving to the edge of the arena to get away from the stone slabs. She hoped this would get his attention but also if it did not it would at least allow her to have a better view of the arena once she got to the edge.
(Just to clear it up.. shes on her way to the edge >.> she dosn't actually get there in this post)
( And dam >.> We need to fight >.> its hard thinking of stuff to post about when we are doing nothing lol )

Ezra noticed Shino coming out from behind the rock, but he waited. There were two versions of the kunoichi, and Ezra wasn't exactly sure which one was the real one. Another clone tactic. The young male was starting to get restless. Why couldn't she be easy to kill? He knew if he had caught the girl off guard, the battle was his. All he needed to do was wait it out.
As soon as the young kunoichi started running, however, he grinned. Era jumped up, throwing two kunai in the direction of each version. As he landed, his hands were already moving in seals. Two clones, dressed exactly like Ezra, appeared, and as he stood, so did his other versions. The three scattered around the field, hiding behind different rock slabs. Due to this distraction by the kunai, it would be fairly difficult to note where each went. Now, all Ezra had to do was time his attacks perfectly.
