hi guy's and girl's im a Ps3 player and i got my copy of Black Ops yesterday
in gamestop and i whant to now how play's BO (BlackOps) on the PS3 and if you play on the ps3 my PSN is naito-kanji oh and i also play MW2 WAW but im going to play mostly Black Ops (BO) oh and im a full time !Sniper!

like he sed the black ops arent very sniper friendly... but....
if u want 2 snipe do objective gameplay in launch. just snipe on the bars next 2 the launchpad. firing range big tower. long ladder. put tactical insertion in there and ur good 2 go. also, another 2 snipe spots next to it.
wmd on both sides u start and the middle snipe spots. but the one bottom prior to map is best. nuketown. only window-to-window sniping... or window to floor. nuketown is also nasty for quick and no scoping, plus silent shots, wallbangs, 360's, tomahawks,ballistic knifves,package wars,and every trickshot and gamemode you can think of... but not hiding,silent games and mike myers. array. theres a power tower you can climb a ladder. it covers several respawning points and the central tower. havannah. two 2 story buildings. the one prior to right of map u go 2 balcony. stand on the rails run and dive to a buildingless balcony and camp.many more.... but still not so sniper friendly.

The only map that I have been able to snipe in a somewhat "supposed to" manner is in Array....
Other than that, unless you "quickscope" which has been.. nerfed, per se. Good luck ranking up with just sniping neutral

I can snip well in Array, Firing Range, Havana, Jungle, and Villa remember in this maps are the best places where i have had good score using sniper rifles!

I think sniping is right where it should be. It isn't too powerful, but it isn't useless. My only complaint would be the hit detection. But I snipe from time to time. I have some videos saved in my cousin's fileshare (All of the videos on his fileshare are mine.). It is one named "32-10 sniping," which I think you should check out. My cousin's PSN gamertag is "bobakaclifford". (Worst gamertag ever -_-)
But I think you should try running around with a ballistics knife with marathon pro and try knifing and tomahawking. I did that for like a whole day and it was just so much fun. And it wasn't like I was getting a bad kill to death ratio, I was going on like 8 kill streak tears. Unfortunately, I wasn't playing with high kill streak rewards, I barely ever do though. Most games that I play to have fun in, instead of just kill and cap. flags, I could get at least a chopper gunner. Like today, I was playing with the M60 for, like my first time, and I wasn't doing that bad. I played with the grip and extended mag attached to it and I know I could of got a chopper gunner and probably dogs because I got an attack helicopter, which is a seven kill streak reward, and I was still going on a tear. And the best part of the M60 is you don't have to be really accurate. Just spray.

Thank God I switched to the PS3 for CoD. but the quality of players on 360 is better, you can't argue that. My KTD ratio is .8 higher on PS3, no joke.
