Florian had drifted to sleep as she lay underneath the willow tree. She dreamt of being back within her herd and by her mother’s side. She laughed as she chased her sister about creating havoc everywhere she went. But then someone was yelling at her. Saying that it wasn’t like a lady to chase or make fun of someone. That Florian needed to grow up and become the mature adult she really was. The laughter was fading and soon the dreamland Florian was standing alone, but the voices were still picking out everything that was wrong with her. From the way she stood because of bad posture to the way she nagged and nagged. Soon in her dreams the Florian took off and didn’t stop running. And suddenly there was a faint voice in the air. It was light and she could barely hear it. But there was warmth to the voice and it clearly sounded to be of a female. Dreamland Florian followed the voice, but found herself following a light, at first hesitant but soon following the light that began to grow with each step. The light was beginning to get larger and brighter…
Florian’s body shifted as she began to toss and turn. It’s like she could see the light even with her eyes closed. The young mare began to awaken and the dream faded from sight. She blinked open her optics a couple times as she raised her head and yawned. “Odd dream. Shouldn’t dream of such…” she paused, looking above. Her mouth dropped as she took notice of the moon hovering above. It seemed so much brighter than before though Florian hadn’t really actually looked at the moon before. It was so round! And the moonlight…it had to be much brighter than the sun! Florian’s mouth closed as she stood up and walked to the water’s edge. She kept looking at the moon until she felt the water lap at her feet. She looked across the pond to see someone---something creating ripples.
“It can’t be,” she whispered as Luminista’s words entered into her mind. Was that the Brother the mare had spoken of? It was hard to tell as a large cloud moved in front of the moon and blocked out the light.
“Brother…?” Florian gulped, squeaking her voice out.

Luminista moved away from the rippling pond surface and over to the other side. The light shinning off her wings as she folded upon her landing. Turning her head, long braided mane slipping over a wing as it had shifted within her flight until now. She caught sight of the strange mare that had begrudged the Spirits around her, even her own Guide. Turning her head away, and wandering towards a shadowy place. Flicking her tail as she walked, Luminista laid half in and half out of the moon light. Though her eyes didn't droop in the anticipation of sleep, though the Sister's soft whispers were calling to her. The cat tales on the edge of the pond rustling their own lullaby to the Sister. Head turning skywards, her eyes closed to the pale hands of the Mother. It was safe here, with Mother watching over the sleeping lands, it was safe.
Ears flicking, her head lowered to the ground, a sigh escaped her lungs shifting the scattered leaves about her nose. Wings drooped and stretched themselves out at her sides. Her she would sleep until the Father rose again. Laying as she was, Luminista looked like a piece of the sky, fallen to the Sister...

Florian watched the silhouette of the mare gracefully moved inland and then lied down. She young mare wasn’t sure whom she was in the presence of, but it was quite ominous. Her eyes looked up following the moonlight that had somehow found a way to shine through the clouds and onto the pond. She then followed the streaks back down and looked at the mare in the near distance. “Can’t be,” she muttered quietly thinking it to be that crazy mare she met earlier that spoke of the Spirits and such nonsense. Florian pulled her head back and stomped her hooves lightly against the ground as she snorted. There would only be one way to find out…
Florian breathed in deeply and held her breath for a quick moment before exhaling quite loudly. She then started to make way towards the mare that was laying half in shadows and within the moonlight. She began to wander who it was and why they were creating ripples on the pond. Her lips pursed as she neared closer towards the creature.
“It can’t be,” her mouth dropped. “You!” she gasped out realizing it was that crazy mare she met only a few hours ago. “What…! What are you doing here? Following me are you? How rude!” she stomped her hooves against the ground as she glared at the familiar mare before her.
Florian pursed out her lips and snorted as she looked away.

Ears flicking to the sides as her eyes fluttered open with quite a bit of shock. It was the time of rest while the Mother was watching. She was the night and all good little children should have been wrapped in her starlit blanket and lulled to sleep with her musical ones. Head raising from the ground and wings pulling themselves back from the earth, Lunimista looked up at the flustered mare. Turning her head to one side, a sleepy eye calculating. "I go where the Brother takes me. I can;t control him, nor he me. But I follow him with the loyalty of a foal with its mother." There was a yawn mixed in her voice as she rolled over slightly. "Besides, who are you to get all flustered? Please tell me you don't do this with everyone, earth sister. Because its a long and lonely road you are sure to take. Driving off all those friends you could make."
Shuffling a little and making small gouges in the dirt beneath her, she laid her head back down in the grass watching the mare above her. Luminista didn't seem to care that she was in prefect kicking and possibly stomping range. She seemed to have some faith that this one would know to control her own actions as she could her own. "I can understand that those of this plane know not of the stories of my herd. Or their beliefs and rituals, but please, listen before speaking irrationally. Learn before acting hastily, never know, you might come to find there is something more to who you are then you already know."
