Green technology is on the rise in New America, the government more concerned about space travel and saving the failing planet than they are of the citizens. Citizens who have to wear gas masks in the city in order to breathe clean air and reinforce their homes and workplaces against the acid rain that eats away at anything outside while it falls. Poverty reigns and crime runs rampant in the cities, especially those furthest from the capital.★xoxo ＳＩＧＭＡ ＣＩＴＹ ;;xoA fairly small city nestled on the west coast among the remains of what five years ago was Seattle, before it was destroyed in a massive riot. It was abandoned soon after the acid rain developed, many of the buildings reduced to nothing in torrents of rain. Nature took over with a vengeance, the majority of the city taken in a storm of fir trees, wild blackberry brambles, and other native species. Animals either died off, or evolved with the earth, becoming tougher, fiercer, smarter. Leaving the outskirts of Sigma at night, even with a group of people, is a death wish. The people stay within what used to be the downtown area, building a small utopia in the old skyscrapers and turning the nearby stadiums into massive fields of crops. The people all work together to survive, save for a small gang of renegades determined to cheat their way out of the hell hole. ★xoxo ＡＬＰＨＡ ;;xoSmuggling in counterfeit Green technology in from Japan and China, Alpha has become a perpetual thorn in the side for the peaceful citizens of Sigma. Though they're made safe by the technologies brought over which their own government cannot provide for them, they're forced to subject themselves to Alpha, catering to their every whim. ★xoxo ＳＩＸ ＹＯＵＮＧ ＭＥＮ ＡＮＤ ＷＯＭＥＮ ;;xoAltered by the environment just as much as the animals, these young people have discovered they have strange abilities, powers if you will, and can do much more than the average human. Some are frightened by them, determined not to be discovered and labeled as a freak, while others are embracing them as a way to save themselves and their city. Others have already killed with theirs. ★xoxo Ａ ＮＥＷ ＳＴＲＵＧＧＬＥ ;;xoWill the Supers be able to over throw the oppressive Alpha? Will the city finally be free, or will the Supers take them over in their own turn? Will the city embrace their potential saviors, or reject them in a shower of blood? I Will Not accept you if you try and join with some mary sue "my father rapes me and i cut myself but i'm really popular and pretty and rich and deeply irrevocably in love with someone who doesn't even know i exist and i'll kill myself if they reject me or start going out with someone else. Unless someone else confesses their love for me right after my heart is torn into a million tiny pieces, then i'll fall instantly and irrevocably in love with them" b***h. Actually, i'll probably try to kill you. You have been warned!
Also, as you can see, swearing is allowed, just not excessively. Also; no godmodding. This will also result in your slow painful [probably oven related] death.
Don't be a b***h about the rules, if you break one, i'm going to tell you, and you are not allowed to complain about it. The rules are here for a reason; obey them. By sending in a reserve, you commit yourself to the Rp and to following the rules. Break them, and you will be punished. Complain about punishment, and you will be reported for spam. Yes, I can do that.

This also means correct spelling and grammar. If you cant be bothered to use an internet browser with a spell check or type your post up in word, then don't even think about joining.
I understand writers block, but lets try and avoid that as much as possible please. Because writers block for one person leads to writers block for whoever's replying. And that sucks. For me, literacy also means building your character up from scratch, not using a celebrity or meme model for the pictures. Blood sweat and tears are the foundation of a good character. Being lazy and googling 'Zac Effron' is not. ★xoxo ＰＯＳＴ ＳＴＹＬＥＳ ;;xoMake them pretty! At the very least, they should include a picture of your character [preferably a different one from the one used in your profile] and your characters full name and role. Feel free to decorate it with icons and lyrics, all that fun stuff.
The only two restrictions i'm putting on the posts are these; no uber bright colors that hurt peoples eye and no super stretching the page.

Seriously, that's freaking annoying. If you cant even fill out a simple skeleton, you shouldn't even be reading this. Post your reservations in the Ooc thread BEFORE you send in a profile. Real pictures only, and remember the mary sue rant? Yeah, watch it buddy.
Pictures cannot be celebrities [especially those damn disney channel and twilight hacks -_-"], or meme[dont know what it means? Google it] models [Susan C, Anita K, anyone from ANTM...], and please try and find at least three or so pictures for your character, some icons for your profile, and one or two for your posts.
As for profiles, well, you're gonna hate me for this, but they need to be made in a separate thread.
These should be made in the guild's forum for profiles and whatnot and titled your character's full name. Pm them to me so i can set up the links if you're ultimately accepted.

She'd much rather spend the night with her heels kicked up in front of a holo-fire, using her shadows to probe the night for any intruders and tripping them up before they can get to the food. Her job is a hell of a lot easier now that she's realized her powers, before she actually had to work at it, and that lead to a nasty habit of getting stabbed. She's got a terrible fear of knives because of this, and luckily doesn't have to carry them on her anymore. Any cutting she needs to do can be done with a shadow. Hell, just about anything she needs can be done with a shadow. Corbin's always been kind of a selfish person, but hey, growing up in the slums will do that to ya, and she'd kill herself before she let herself fall head over heels in love with some guy. Ugh.
