 See that loser over there on the right? That's Sailor Atlas, known by his neighbors at the Sovereign Heights dormitories as Simon Ferris. He is getting his own plot thread not only because I terribly neglected the old one and don't want to dig it up again, but also because I really don't RP him enough and having a thread just about stuff I can do with him will probably help. You see, Sailor Atlas's problem is that even though he is at Super stage and has an incredibly powerful attack to boot, he still really sucks at being a senshi.It's time for an intervention.DISCLAIMERS:I can be a terrible flake about getting things started sometimes, especially when I fall out of the habit of doing things spontaneously because RPing is Fun. So, as a reminder to myself:
MOUSE SERIOUSLY STOP WORRYING ABOUT YOUR DAMNED TIMELINE AND JUST WRITE. TORTURING SIMON IS ALWAYS FUN. JUST ******** DO IT
I AM NOT LOOKING FOR MEET-AND-GREETS. While I love developing new relationships and connections for my characters, I'd rather do it in a way that's fun / has a point to it. This is nothing against anyone, I'm just a whore for dynamic stories and encounters and have pretty much lost my capacity to write my characters exchanging small talk.

The General Idea
I'm looking for extended plotting and character development to prepare him for his Eternal stage, so his Eternal art can reflect his character growth / showcase a Sailor Atlas who is more capable of fighting the good fight, even if it's in his own way.
Right now he is unconfident, cowardly, and extremely reluctant to fight -- stuff that will always be with him in some measure, but also stuff he can recognize as a hindrance and learn to get over. On the good side, he is also your standard Sensitive Guy who is generally approachable, caring, and unafraid of his feelings (in other words he would have been a lot better off if his sphere gave him healing abilities instead of dangerous gravity traps).
That out of the way, I have no real concrete plans at the moment, just a point A and a point B...
POINT A: Oversensitive coward who pretty much doesn't even know how to make a fist
POINT B: Still oversensitive but generally more confident senshi possessing of techniques that enable him to take on a more active role
I would love suggestions and general food for thought even if you're not offering RP! There's going to be a list of things I'm looking for / open to in the next post.

To-Do ListIdeas, ideas, here are the ideas so far~ AN ACTUAL INTERVENTION. Someone to beat down Simon's door, sit him down and tell him that he is a terrible senshi and needs to shape up because him shaping up means less people dying. Sometimes the best way to get someone running is with a clue-by-four to the a**. This can't be from a stranger, obviously -- it needs to be someone he knows already, or has had a few meetings with beforehand.
Get the s**t beaten out of him. Perhaps multiple times. I have a lot of battles for him to do, and I don't see him winning very many...
Possibly befriend some other cowardly reluctant senshi who also need help getting over their cowardice and/or reluctance. Anyone out there want to bite on this one?
Learn about his past life, past self and the culture he used to be a part of -- this will provide plenty of personal motivation if handled as well as I want to handle it.
Get in some situations that boil down to him having to take action, or else Bad Things Happen. I am completely down for success OR failure on his part with these things, since I can get a lot of development out of either outcome.

If it is okay to post in here surprised
I know Sailor Iris met Atlas WAY BACK IN THE DAY... and would remember that he's a bit of a wuss, BUT ALSO REMEMBER HE DESTROYED A BRIDGE WITH HIS ATTACK. She doesn't know too much about him as a person aside from the fact he's also a BIG NERD.
I could sorta see her encountering him again (as a senshi) and being all "Dude... you're a super senshi... stop acting like a pansy" and attempt to encourage him in her own way to man up. I wouldn't see her so much acting like a mentor so much as just speaking her mind. I could only see it being a one time RP, like just a "hey, this is food for thought for you Atlas" type of deal.
And that's Lizzy's food for thought ;B

Mica wouldn't mind trying her hand at fighting a Super Senshi. I guess her crystal wouldn't do her much good, but she has no qualms with using a human shield or two (or several).
This could actually fit in my my plot for Mica, if/when it gets approved. :3
I guess the real question is, can you see Atlas being defeated by a Lt?

BY OUR POWERS COMBINED, what about Mica chasing Atlas for the beat-down and Iris has to save his a** / squeeze his attack out of him because her Revenge misses or something? biggrin Two birds, one stone.

Right now he's sorta just popping up in random places and being a totally irrational douchebag. He broke Sailor Hel's ribs just for telling him to go home (and calling him an idiot) so it's no real stretch to say he'd wail on Atlas if he needs a good beat down. It could also set them up for something later down the road when Atlas IS a better Senshi to go and stand up to Schee? IDK. *flail*

Good for sparring and homeworld exploring, since Merope himself is currently questioning his own senshi beliefs. Most likely at some point down the line Team Pleiades meeting for all of them to argue/debate back and forth what is the "right" thing to do? :3

Mouse Pachinkorelli I am pretty sure another run-in with the Scheemonster would freak Atlas the ******** out and help with his motivation. A lot. Scheemonster is up for this whenever Atlas is <3 Just give me a poke! :3
