Ugh. What a boring day. The sun was too hot to really get out and move around with out being miserable. And sitting around in the suffocating wasn't entirely better. A good swim sounded very nice, though. Too bad his wings weren't the best to have while immersed in water. Which also made flying soo difficult.
Sometimes he thought it would be better to not have them at all. He'd only flown once in his whole life. Not that he'd told anybody that. He used to play it up like he flew all the time, but not really. He pretended to like it, even to himself. That might of made him bad, because there were some who couldn't fly at all.
Jeez, inwardly rambling like this was even more tiring. Standing from where he'd laid, braced against a large tree trunk, Pavitra set out to find a nice pond to walking into despite his wings.

 Prancing about, Raivis shook his head madly. The water felt heavenly next to his black coat, beads of water dripped down him, and his mane clung to his face. Kryptonite green wings fluttered rapidly, in attempts to dry.
The fluttercorn briefly thought of shifting sizes, but refrained from doing so. It'd be useful if he could fly about, but his wings were entirely too delicate and wet to risk it. Tossing his head once more, the stallion winced as his horn hit a tree branch. He'd forgotten about that.
Wandering aimlessly, Raivis lowered his head to munch on some tall weeds. The warm sun beat down on him; a nice feeling when combined with the drying water. Turning back towards the water, Raivis picked up a slow trot- stopping when he hit the waters edge. A light grin graced his face as he took a few more steps into the water, stopping once the tepid water hit slightly above his fetlock. Standing still, Raivis closed his eyes and enjoyed the combination of warmth and water.
