 The dark lioness prowled around the thin trunk of a tree. It looked acceptable to rest under for one night at least. A thick paw pressed against it... just testing... SNAP. Oops. Runi grunted, that was the third tree she broke this evening. At this rate, she'd never find a proper place to rest! She just didn't know her own strength...
She sighed, deciding to continue her seemingly endless journey. Paw step after paw step, thud after thud, Runi marched across the savannah, scanning the horizon for a suitable tree. Until... Her golden eyes spied something that appealed to her. Not a tree, something better. A lion. A man lion, specifically. A grin stretched across the dull female's face as she marched towards that neon blue figure. There's no doubt she'd sleep warmly tonight!

 The massive neon blue lion padded through the area. He was wondering the rougelands, he was just finishing up an eventful day with the female he was previously with and was ready to rejuvinate for the next day.
Kali was quite large, a bit larger then a normal male lion, espically a normal female lioness. His abnormally sharp canine teeth often scared away most lions. But he was okay with that; he like the solitary life, free to do and play with whom ever he chooses.
Kali continue to search for a content pace for him. He spoted the rock formation. He made his way to the abandoned den and began sniffing it out. He had to make sure it was abandoned, you only make that mistake once... As he sniffed his big neon blue rump poking out of the dens entry way.There was no scent the previous owners were long since gone. This was a suitable place at least for one night...

Runi's tail swayed gently behind her as she trotted noisily towards the lion with his rump exposed. "Hello!" She said, fearlessly craning her neck to get a better look at his face. Just what was he doing halfway in that cozy-looking den? Well... easiest way to find out would be to verbalize the inquisition. Runihura was not skilled with words, however...
"Why you butt out?" She asked, oblivious that her vocabulary needed some serious improvements. She stared at the undoubtedly attractive male, an expectant smile on her face. The night was getting colder and colder, and as the temperature dropped, so was the lioness's impatience.

Kali turned at the sound of the females voice. He looked over her. She was so beautiful, kali's mind began racing with ideas! Tonight was going to be a glorious night. He smiled at the female. "Why how do you do my lady." Hi words were spoken like a gentlemen but something in his tone was giving off a malevolent purpose."My name is Mkali'Shetani, Kali for short." He stepped to the side his tail flicking back and forth.
"I was just sniffing out this den to see if it was abandoned i was going to sleep here for the night, it is getting quite cold...." He smerked while continuing his statement, "....Perhaps you would like to join me, there is no need for a pretty girl such as yourself to be out here alone." He smiled showing his abnormally long canine teeth.

Wow, look at those fangs. Runi admired them with a grin of her own, displaying her less impressive teeth. "Runi think you nice, Kali." She said, letting her body sway in the most attractive feminine way as she crept into the den. Already Runi was thinking of claiming the male as her own. Just think! Being warm every night... having a male with such sharp canines to scare off and kill anyone who didn't agree... The dark lioness giggled to herself, nestling into the corner of the den.
"Does Kali not have mate?" She asked, showing off her most innocent smile. This is the part where he said no, and she snatched him up all for herself. Or well... that's what she thought is what would happen. She's never actually done this before... but she wasn't about to admit that.

Kali admired the way the attractive purple female swayed. She obviously wasn't very bright, that was Kali's favorite type of female, a dumb one. He could tell she was trying to use a coquettish type of body language, trying being the key word. Kali followed after her into the den, laying beside her.
Her smerked, "No Kali does not have a mate, at least not yet." He gave her a charming grin, while looking her over. On the inside he was laughing, he would never have a mate, it was to much of a pain to be tied down. She couldn't tell the difference wheater he was lying or not and that was perfectly okay with him. "What about Runi does she have a mate?" He smiled at the georgous female. Is tone became more inviting and tender as he moved closer to the purple female.

"No... Runi not have a mate." The female's tail flickered with excitement. A giggle escaped her lips as blood flushed out the red colors of her cheeks.
"Runi likes you though. You have big teeth and fur is warm." She turned just enough to view the lion's blue face with her golden eyes. "Does Kali like Runi?" She fluttered her eyelashes the best she could, and uncannily, it almost appeared as if she'd done this before.
Runi let her dulled claw trail along the dirt and earth of the cave floor. What if he said no? Runi frowned, it was likely he would. She knew she wasn't the most desirable of females... especially to take as a permanent mate.

He smiled showing off his teeth when the ravishing lioness mentioned them. Kali stared into her golden-eyes, they were so captivating the way they stood out against her pelt. Kali has seen many lioness' in his travels but know as georgous as Runi. He was actually please with him self.
Kali smercked, "Yes, Kali like Runi." He gave her a big smile as he moved closer to her. What a stupid girl, just perfect bait. What a great day this has been. Kali let his proud thought boost his ego, he loved the pretty dumb girl, they were his favorite thing to play with. Females were just a toy for Kali to play with but its easier when there dumber; Kali learned that along his travels.
He could never forget the one that got away, Roka, she was brilliant and cought on quite to his game. But when they meet again, she wont go so easily.

"Oh!" Runi burst into a fit of giggles as the handsome lion moved closer. "Oh, that's good, Runi thinks." She could hardly contain her laughter and excitement, as she attempted to move closer to get a deep breath full of his scent.
In a way, the lion was using her... But he didn't quite realize that he was her prize. He would be her toy forever, as far as she was concerned. Until death do us part...
Oh but wait. There was still the issue of actually getting him to agree to be hers forever.
"Kali be Runi's mate, then?" She smiled at him innocently, batting her eyes as if he would never be able to say no.

Kali smiled as he gently rubbed his head against her neck. "It is good, it's very good." A genuine smile escaped him, he was actually considering staying with this one for a while. It was better then roaming the lands looking for someone instead he could just used this one till he was bored or he decided to leave.
She was very attractive, she did tend to glow a bit like him, perhaps if she could actually hold an intellectual conversation then he might actually stay. But thats in the world of ifs and maybes a world in which Kali did not tend to reside.
Kali was a bit caught off guard at her question though, mate? Was she serious? Perhapes if she could actually hold an intellectual conversation she he might consider it.... might. But for the time being he looked into the amber eyes of the lioness he put his nose right against her and with one simple and gentle breath he let the one completely false, deceitful, and untruthful word escape his mouth...
"Yes...."
