Despite the chill, Fitzroy's attire was almost rebelliously light. He wore a simple black t-shirt with a smiley face underneath his tye-dyed vest, and only a light jacket was on top of that. Sure he was shivering slightly, but he didn't really mind; the beautiful atmosphere around him was worth it. The sketch on his lap showed none of his trembling as he drew the scene in front of him: beautiful black-ish trees with white snow hats, the semi-frozen lake in front on him reflecting nothing but the blue sky and a few chilly geese.
A smile had been on his face since he had arrived on the bench, and no one had yet arrived to spoil the perfect scene he'd happened upon. Although he loved his friends, Fitzroy relished this quiet time alone; nothing to bother him or make him worry, no one reminding him about late assignments or missing ex-girlfriends... Nope, nothing of the sort was found here. Only blissful, chilled silence and the smell of fresh snow filling his mind, body, and soul...

Iah rather liked the cold weather, it was good for chasing off most people allowing him to go anywhere he wanted. He liked the park as well, it was actually kind of fun from time to time which was nice. He got to sit on the swings to swing, play on the slide, and various other things that he wouldn't be able to do when he was younger. His tentacles were a touch more cooperative these days, though only by a little bit. Mostly they didn't cling to inanimate objects to keep him from getting around which made travel a lot easier. When it came to the greater majority of people though the pair would still act in the same general, possessive manner.
Stretching out all over, and giving one of his tentacles a push as he was wrapped around his shoulders like a heavy scarf, the teen abandoned his swing, "Y-You know t-that your heavy." He told it, though it only got him a squeezing in reply. The reaction made the teen shake his head at them before he continued along on his way, wondering where he wanted to go next in the park, maybe he could go over to where the games were played? See if anyone was there. While he didn't like playing sports he was a rather big fan of them, especially the ones that caused people to tackle each other like with football. It was a shame that the weather was to cold for volleyball which was his most favorite sport ever due to the fact that the guys wore so little.
As he was walking along he caught sight of someone familiar to him, someone he hadn't seen in a long, long while, "F-Fitzroy...?" He murmured, head tilting to one side. The moment he said the name his tentacles went from wrapping around him to jerking upright and putting themselves on guard. Fitzroy was the one that tied them up! As such they were not big fans of his...

Fitzroy looked up at the sound of his name, and was completely surprised by who was there. He could only gape for a moment or two, totally lost for words. How long had it been... Months, it felt, since he'd tied up that boy's tentacles and took him to a movie, gave him a kiss and told off his dad. And now, like it was nothing, there was Iah, looking at him with the same amount of confusion he must have shown. Eventually he managed to sputter forth a reaction.
"I-Iah... Hi." He laughed awkwardly as he began to rediscover his naturally social personality. "Hi! Hi, how're you doing? Wow, it's been... a long time, hasn't it? Here, come on, have a seat." He scooted over on his bench, patting the empty space a few times. "Heh-heh, lots of room. So, how've you been? I see you've grown a bit; so have I, if you couldn't already tell." Fitzroy smiled awkwardly, aware that he was talking a little too much, but he couldn't help it. It was Iah, right there, out of the blue...

Iah looked at the bench for a long moment before he looked at his tentacles, "P-Please behave... we won't t-tie you so b-be good." He told them, moving to sit down on the bench so that he was facing Fitzroy, that way there was no possible way that the tentacles could get jumped and tied. As such they seemed to relax... at least to a point. One of them, the more defensive one wrapped itself back around his neck lazily. The other one stayed at the ready, more aggressive then its twin by far.
Lifting a hand to catch hold of that one he hugged it to his chest, trying to calm it, "Its a l-little on edge around y-you." He explained, sure that Fitzroy would understand why that was. The tentacle swished a moment before wrapping itself around Iah's wrist, as though to tell Fitzroy and anyone else that might be looking who Iah belonged to. The action caused Iah to give another sight and he gave the twitchy, possessive limb a pat before he smiled at Fitzroy, "I'm g-good. B-Been getting out a l-little b-bit more of late. Its n-nice." He didn't explain that he was getting out more due to generally feeling uncomfortable at home.
"Y-Yeah, I grew! And I s-see that you d-did as well. Y-You have a lot of h-hair." He couldn't imagine having that much hair, he was sure his tentacles would make a terrible mess of it.

Fitzroy immediately felt guilty at Iah's comment, remembering the way he'd treated his overprotective tentacles last time he saw them. True, he still felt slightly justified in tying them up - it's not like they were nice to Iah, or respected his wishes at all. But he didn't want to make them bad, and he realized how mean that was; they were just trying to keep him safe. He smiled hesitantly towards the appendages. "Y-Yeah, don't worry. Nothing to tie you up with here, that's not going to happen again."
He nodded happily at Iah's comment, adding a few more details to his sketch as he talked. "Oh really? That's good. I know I hate to be cooped up all the time; I spend most of my time outside now. I mean, why stay inside on a lovely day like this?" He gestured to the snowy expanse around them with a wide smile. Like Iah, he didn't share the fact that his newfound love for the outdoors was partially due to his regular use of a certain helpful herb.
"Haha, yeah, I know I do," Fitzroy laughed, running a hand through his hair self-consciously. "But every time I think of cutting it... No, it's just not happening. Besides, don't you think I look dashing?" he said with a laugh, theatrically flipping back his impressive locks.

Looking around the area he found himself nodding, "I-I do like the w-weather like this, its b-best when its c-cold since there are l-less p-people around." Less people meant less chance of his tentacles being a bother to them or to him. He rather liked this weather, "It will b-be nice if it s-snows. They seem to l-love to fling s-snow balls around." He said, giving a bit of a chuckle, recalling how they had so happily flung the snow around last winter though that might have been using nature to aid them in keeping people away from Iah... either way at least it had given them something to do other then cling to him or take more physical swings at other people.
Iah lifted a hand, looking as though for a moment he was considering reaching out to mimic what Fitzroy was doing, wanting to touch his hair but his tentacle was instantly snagging hold of his wrist to pull his hands back in close to his body once more, causing his to sigh, "R-Really you t-two..." He murmured at them, cheeks flushing slightly. Silly things... always acting way to over possessive and protective he thought to himself, shaking his head at them before he looked back at his friend.
The tentacles reacted to his words by giving a slight twitch before they seemed to slid more tightly around Iah, looking the part of a pair of red snakes. Iah gave a slight smile before he patted them best that he could in his entangled position, "D-Don't feel b-bad. They are always l-like this. Only M-Marii seems able t-to c-cow them b-but then again hes p-pretty big." He said, giving a bit of a laugh as he thought about how they had acted the last time he'd crossed paths with Marii.

Fitzroy nodded in agreement, looking around the pristine landscape. "Yeah, most people stay away from the cold, but I like it. It's the kind of weather that makes you feel alive, y'know?" He smiled and trembled happily, stretching out his arms while keeping a wary eye on Iah's tentacles. He didn't want to encroach on their territory; at least, not right now. He laughed when Iah described his tentacle's passion for snowball fights. "Wow, that would be one heck of a snowball fight. I'm sure they'd clobber anyone; and I mean that in the best way, of course," he added, gesturing peacefully to the tentacles. He seemed to be trying a new tactic: get on their good side, as much as he can.
Fitzroy's eyes went a little wide when Iah's hand went up, but the moment of excitement was extinguished by those very same tentacles he was just complimenting. Discouraged, Fitzroy returned to his sketch a little moodily, trying to keep his grumbles to himself, but when Iah spoke again he looked up with a smile. "I know, don't worry. I don't hold it against you, never have." He cocked his head to the side curiously at Iah's description. "Really? He's a big one, huh? I've never seen anyone named Marii, but he sounds intimidating. The tentacles leave him alone, then?" Fitzroy tried to ask his questions in a light voice, but his envy must have shown from the tightness in his shoulders. If that was the key, then didn't he wish he was large...?

He gave a nod of his head, "T-They have d-done just that to a c-couple of p-people actually, P-Pepper and Cody g-got the worst of i-it." He said, looking at touch embarrassed and maybe a little upset, that had been the last time that he'd seen Pepper and he found himself wondering if his tentacles had been able to chase his friend off for good. It was possible given that they were a little... difficult to deal with to say the least, "I know t-that they aren't t-to terribly f-friendly b-but I now that they are d-doing it f-for my own good. T-To keep me s-safe." Iah himself was a little soft and far to friendly for his own good. As such he couldn't really be more then miffed at his tentacles for what they did.
"Y-You don't? Good." He murmured, glad that Fitzroy wasn't upset with him because of how the tentacles were, "S-Sometimes I e-envy my M-Mom, he has t-tentacles t-that are really friendly." He said before he got smacked in sync by both of his tentacles that were quite displeased when Iah mention Chii and Fuu. Iah sighed, batting at them, "B-Brats."
Iah decided to move away from mention of those tentacles, even if they were friendly and he would rather have tentacles that clung to other people instead of beating on them... he gave a little nod when he was asked about Marii, "Y-Yeah... hes l-like a g-giant!" Though him saying as much wasn't saying a lot since he was a little short at the moment, he was still growing though and hoped to one day at least be as tall as his Father! Though even if he was he would still be short in comparison, "I t-think its b-because he is s-so tough, he c-can just ignore them w-when they s-set to swinging."
Iah let one hand pet each of the tentacles for a moment and the red tinged limbs seemed to relax and for the moment the both of them wrapped around him in a manner that seemed as though they were going on the defensive as well as making it seem as though they were off guard. It was something Iah was used to so he didn't treat them as though they were innocent in any manner, "W-What are you w-working on?" He asked in a curious manner, watching the manner in which Fitzroy was working on... something. He little a little closer to try to get a look even if it got him a good squeezing for doing so.

Fitzroy laughed and smiled a little sardonically, despite the fact that he was happy to hear it. "Really? Considering I was the one who locked them up, I didn't think they could hate anyone more than me." He stuck out a daring finger towards one of the swaying appendages, baiting it as one does a particularly annoying or self-righteous dog. "Pepper and Cody, whoever they are, must have really pissed them off." It was hard to keep his smile on his face as Iah once again tried to explain away his tentacle' behavior, but he somehow managed to keep his distinct personal opinions to himself. He had to look away though, pretending to further study his picture; the Liberality spawn couldn't bear to lie to his friend's face, even if it was a white lie. "Yeah, I guess they certainly do that. But between them and your dad - the one I've met, at least - I'm surprised that you're allowed out of the house at all." He tried to play it off as a joke, but he was serious. Especially through the eyes of someone who put such a high emphasis on freedom, the idea of living Iah's life sounded unbearable.
But he chuckled again when Iah sounded relieved, and he took the opportunity to sneak a ruffle of the Lust kid's hair while he was being abused by his tentacles. "I know what you mean. Adelle's mom, Miss Adhara, has two really sweet tentacles too." Fitzroy smiled a little mournfully, which he seemed to be doing a lot of today. "And one of Adelle's tentacles, Sutry, smacks everyone, kind of like your's. Except he's really small, so he just kind of flails and thinks he's tough." He smiled again and shrugged one shoulder, looking back out at the lake. "Overall though, I'm glad I don't have to deal with them. I'm happy with a sentient body part that doesn't have any reach." He tickled Pac-man affectionately as he spoke, letting the mouth nibble hungrily on his fingers.
"A giant, huh? You don't say," Fitzroy replied mildly, shading a tree a little pointedly. He listened as Iah described Marii's luck with the tentacles, trying to keep his jealously neutral. "Yeah, that would make sense. Unfortunately for me, I don't think I'm getting any bigger. Though maybe that's not such a bad thing," he added with a laugh, stretching out his arm to test his new reach. "It must be awkward being a giant. Think about how doorframes he must hit his head on every day."
"Hm? Oh, nothing exciting," Fitzroy said in response to Iah's question, tilting the book so his friend could see better. "Just a black-and-white still life. Mostly it's just there to occupy my hands." He laughed again, then set the picture down. "So, do you wanna, like, do anything? I don't want to bore you by just drawing; maybe we could take a walk?"
