 (Without the tapestries and furniture) As you walk in there is a poster on the wall with a Fire Breather. It read: Festival Season is almost upon us again.
Everyone will be assigned a part and they will do it to the best of their abilities.
There will be Fire Breathers, Snake Charmers, Acrobats
Clowns, Lion Tamers, Magicians,
and daring acts by many others.
So please come and join for the main event
A knife throwing act.
Afterwards the man can be challenged by other performer's
or Audience members
And anyone who can beat him
Will get a one thousand dollar reward.

 Chloe walked into the main room and looked around, "This place is kinda nice... let's just hope the people here are not annoying." She mumbled to herself as she approached the poster. After reading it she sighed, "I really don't want to do this. But, if I have to I guess I can't say no." She said and waited for someone else to walk in.

Drake walked in and looked at Chloe. "Why hello there. Interested in participating in the Festival for the couple of weeks it is here?" He asked looking at her with a smile that showed his fangs.

Chloe looked up at him, first thought was that he was tall. "Um.. well, not really." She said and looked at his fangs. "Your a vampire? Thats cool, haven't really met any of those."

"Well I wouldn't either but I'm the Knife Thrower. I've got to be in it since I'm the closing act. Oh and my name is Nova, yes I am a vampire and that is what this mansion is for to meet others that are like you. Strange and unusual. That's how everyone here is. Even though it is sort of empty at the moment." He said holding his hand out to her, waiting for her to shake it.

Chloe lighty grabbed Drake's hand and shook it. "My name is Chloe, I am a demon." She said, not really wanting anyone to know that she was only half demon. No one would really be able to tell but Chloe felt it made her feel weaker. She let go of his hand and looked around. "Your right, there is no one here... what do you do for fun around here?" She asked.

"Nothing really. But since Festival Season is coming up and your a demon, would you like to be our designated Fire Breather?" He asked looking at her while sticking his hands in his pockets.

She gave him a funny look, "Sorry, but I would most likely burn everything down." She laughed and looked back at the poster, trying to see if there was anything that sounded like fun. "What about a Magician? That seems like something I could do." She said and looked back at him.

"Ok then, lrt's see what you have." Nova said and backed up a little to give her some room. He waited very patiently for her to do a few tricks.

"Oh, alright." She said and thought of something to do. She held out her hand and a black top hat appeared. "As you can see there is nothing in the hat." She said and turned it upside down, nothing coming out. "Now..." She tapped the hat. "There is something in there." She smiled and put her whole arm in the hat, "A bunny!" She held a black bunny in her arms. "That was really corny but I can't think on the spot." She laughed and snapped her fingers, the hat and bunny vanished.

"Well be glad you will have a week to think of a routine for the people. So yes you have the spot. But try something a little more complicated like this." Drake said as the lights flickered and shut off. They came back on and he was gone. "And now the show of your life." He said, his voice seeming to come from everywhere. A small flame appeared in the middle of the room and grew bigger. Drake's figure could be seen inside of the fire with his hands in front of him, a few feet apart with the palms up. He slowly moved his hands down and the fire did the same. he kept his palms up and his hands the same distance apart. All of a sudden a few sparks flew from both his hands and arced to the ground, like lightning. It all stopped suddenly. "How's that for a magic show?"

Chloe put her hands on her hips, "In a week I will have something way better then that." She said after she watched what he did, sure she could do the exact same thing. "In fact, I bet that I will be the best out of everyone." She laughed.

"Mabye the second best act. After all I've been the best for many years. I never use volunteer's but I think I shall this year." Nova said looking about.

Chloe shrugged, "You never know." She smiled. "I am kinda bored... what kind of places are around here? I might want to look around, see if there is somewhere to shop" She said
