This is the area that fighters can come to chill out between matches and speak with other fighters. In the lounge there are couches, and large screen TVs that display ongoing matches.
No fighting in the lounge! You can talk it up all you want, but if it's coming to blows, go petition an exhibition match.

Kurosawa Shinji| Clan: N/A, yet | Ninja Types: N/A, yet | XRP Free Agent | Genin ||| Shinobi Profession: Ninjutsu Specialist || XRP Profile || Walking into the lounge, Shinji wore a smile of excitement as he perused the busy room. With the XRP's grand opening, it looked like a lot of fighters were coming together to be a part of the madness. They looked like a tough bunch, some tougher then others... and none of the that sexist segregation crap either. Men, women, it didn't matter... they were all fighters here to stake their claim and make a name for themselves. Shinji was no different... well, maybe a little different, but certainly in the same boat as everyone else. He'd have to bank on his wit and on his strategy if he was going to prove himself in these early stages, before a real 'champion' even existed yet.
Having thought ahead, Shinji made his way through the room towards a small Bulletin board marked "challenges". He already had in mind what he would do... set up a bunch of 'Low-risk' matches to attract anyone afraid to wager too high and rack up a few wins... hopefully get noticed. He'd have to be careful though... he wasn't sitting on much money and supplies were expensive. Looking around the room, he wore a wide smile, making contact with a few faces, trying to get a read on the crowd. finally reaching the board, he pinned up an announcement with little tabs people could rip off if they felt like accepting his offer. Each slip read as such...
"Kurosawa Shinji, Free-Agent, Exhibition, 5 credit bet. All challenges taken."
Having posted his little advertisement, Shinji looked around the room to see if anyone caught his eye. In a place like this, you needed allies. People in your corner who could give you the scoop and teammates whom you could collaborate with for the best chance to get seen. right now, he couldn't see much, but he was sure it would change. "...and now, we just play the waiting game." Shinji then mulled around the room, wondering if anyone would accept his challenge.

Egam Dnarg II | Bloodline: N/a | Ninja Types: N/a | Faction: N/a | Genin | || Shinobi Profession: Ninjutsu Specialist || Profile || [] Victories: N/a [] Defeats: N/a [] S treak: N/a [] Entering the room, a boy of about 15 stopped and paused. He looked around smiling. He was the second person to enter the room. His number. He didn't exactly like it, but he'd always been second as long as he could remember. But then again how do you ever get out from behind the shadow of a father who mastered all of the elements. As the boy thought about it, he found it kind of ironic that his father had died in a duel. Irony of the man's death aside, the boy stood to be about five foot seven, with a three foot broad chest. He was much larger than his father ever was, even though his father was almost two hundred. Or atleast would have been this year. The boy laughed at his little joke and sat down.
The boy wore a green over shirt which was unbuttoned all the way down, and underneath he wore a regular black shirt. He wore a necklace with a cross like symbol on it. It didn't exactly look like it belonged to any religious group, but more like one a biker would wear. One that references something, but doesn't really proclaim a definite source. His hair was spiky and green, a bluish green, but a green none the less. His pants were black and baggy, they actually went quite well with his whole ensemble. The entire outfit was tied together with his shoes which were made completely out of leather, but looked as if they were regular street sneakers. His wristband was leather as well, but was easily destinguished. It consisted of a main band with a small thin band running through it. the smaller band had writing on it, or atleast it did. Any writing was now incomrehensible because of natural wear and tear. although the last two characters II are stile plainly noticable. His glasses were tinted green, to the point everything behind them looked green, especially his eyes. His smile was blindingly white, and his teeth were perfectly aligned. He had no overbite, no underbite, not even a crossbite. His breath smelled of mint, as did his entire body.
The boy chuckled and looked at the other boy, who looked much older and more robust. ' Tch! like I'm losing to a colorless clod like him... Hopefully. ' The boy thought, sighing laying back in the chair. " Hey you, what's your name? " He asked, politely. Atleast it sounded politely. The boy didn't show any emotion besides indiference, but that was how he normally was, really his emotions were shown in the tone of his voice. " I'm Egam Dnarg. Pleasure to meet you. " He said, lifting his hand above his head and flicking it at the qrist, curling his ring and pinky fingers in slightly and extending his thumb pointer and middle finger in a natural half assed wave.

As he strode into the room, he moved with a grace and confidence which bordered on arrogance. As Atsureki watched the other fighters mill about, he took note of one man in particular as he pinned a challenge on the bulletin board of the room. Smiling lightly, his hand resting on the pommel of his sword, Atsureki strolled towards the board and leaned forward to read what the other fighter had posted."Kurosaw Shinji...", Atsureki said calmly, his voice as smooth as silk, strong as steel, and brimming with confidence. Glancing at Shinji, Atsureki smiled lightly before looking back to the board and speaking once more, "five credits... a test perhaps? Dipping your toes in the water to see how cold it is I suppose." Standing straight once more, Atsureki shot Shinji another of one of those knowing smiles before taking one of the strips of paper from the bottom and turning to face him. "Well, Kurosawa Shinji, I am called Toshiro Atsureki, and I would gladly accept your challenge", Atsureki said with a bow and a flourish before shooting the other man a smile, his cool light-blue gaze meeting the other man's own blue eyes. “…our course not yet charted, our destination not yet known.” Loyal || Determined || Fierce || Confident

--- Setsuna Ai ---Clan: - / Ninja Types: - / XRP Free Agent / GeninGenjutsu Specialist // Raiton // XRP profile"Fate may deal the cards to this game called Life..."Silently raising her right hand, Ai gently pushed opened the door leading to the lounge and was immediately greeted by the noice of excited paticipants, most of which were showing off or bragging about one thing or another. Frowning slightly at the fact that none of the conversation she heard sounded anywhere close to intelligent, Ai immediately knew that this would be one place that she would rather not hang out in. 'Hate disrupting noises...' Tuning them out almost automatically, Ai stepped into the lunge and scanned the room for anything that might possibly be worth noting.
As her gaze reached the wall where a small notice board was hung, Ai spotted a tall man, possibily no older than 25, with long plantium hair, dressed in black, rip a small strip of paper from some sort of flyer pinned onto the board. Curious as to what might interest someone who carried such an air of confidence, close enough to be considered arrongance, would want with such a slip, Ai continued to watch as he turned to face a young man, possibly around 20, with white hair and a similar body built and speaking to him. 'Must be the one who put up the notice.'
Now that her interest was spiked, Ai silently made her way over to the board to see just what was written on the flyer. As she walked, she paid no heed to those around her and her face carried a small frown reflecting her disinterest in her surroundings. Stopping about a meter from the tall young man with plantium hair, Ai turned to face the notice board and immediated zoned in on the challange letter that was pinned up. 'Kurosawa Shinji, exhibition match, and only 5 credits at stake...interesting indeed...better than those other arrogant people I've been hearing. Bet almost their whole savings...fools...'
Deciding that she might as well just take a slip in case she gets bored enough, Ai ripped one of the many slips from the flyer and tucked it into her pouch. Turning her head slightly, Ai gave the three man a quick glance before walking over to a silent corner and taking a seat by one of the windows. Plopping her right arm the table using her elbow, Ai rested her chin on the palm of her hand and she stared out the window looking at nothing in particular.
"...but its up to me whether or not I choose to play by it."

Kurosawa Shinji| Clan: N/A, yet | Ninja Types: N/A, yet | XRP Free Agent | Genin ||| Shinobi Profession: Ninjutsu Specialist || XRP Profile || After scanning the room and making note of several interesting characters which walked in, Shinji was about to respond to someone who was speaking to him, but was surprised to hear a silky voice behind him suddenly. Turning around, a man with long flowing grey hair had approached him. He looked strong, or at least that's what it would seem like with the confidence the man was exuding. Hearing the man's words, Shinji's eyes darted to his announcement, where he was shocked to see two of the tabs already taken, and a third competitor, a woman also examining the paper. Smiling he turned back his full attention to the man and looked to be amused with the man's tone and question. "Heh... I've known how cold the waters have been for years. Just trying to get my name out there on the field. the cheaper the stakes, the more takers I get... the more wins I rack up."
The man seemed to be well taken with his words, as he immediately shot the man a confident smile and then turned to rip a strip off the paper himself. Announcing that he would accept Shinji's challenge, Shinji smiled, but then had to politely decline. "Sorry my friend, it seems someone has beaten you to the punch... but don't worry, after I beat him, I'll come back here and we'll have a match. Deal?" Without waiting for an answer, Shinji cast the man a smile and then moved off to the arena ready for his first fight. Casting a quick glance at the bulletin board, Shinji noticed that a third strip was taken now and casting a glance back at the room, he saw that the girl who had been examining his challenge was now sitting down in an arm chair, looking unamused with her settings. "Heh, three challenges already. This place is gonna be one heck of a ride!"

Well, let's see what's on the agenda today. " He said smiling walking over to the bulletin board and scanning the papers thinking about just taking one and writing on the back of it.
He smiled and picked a peice of paper off the board, reading Bia Euryale Horae Is looking for a fight, ten credit exhibition match. " Perfect. This should be very interesting. " He said looking at the fine print of the notice for a little while. " Very interesting... " He said trailing off into thought.

Nomiya YasashiiFree Agent | Genin{ Sealing }~ "The hell do you mean sealing doesn't count?" A voice by the sign in desk suddenly growled out, the young man who had been filling in a profile suddenly leaning halfway across the desk, right in the man's face. "It's what I put down, and that makes it count. Got it?" He growled out, standing straight up again, turning around and walking away. "Che." If he'd known the clerk was going to be such a pain, he'd have just killed someone on his way in. Or something. That would at least let them know not to mess around with him. Well, guessing by the look on the clerk's face now, he was set to go, so, heading over to the challenge board, he began looking over the names. Nothing much really stood out. There were a couple that were apparently confident enough to "Take all challenges" but had chosen to make small bets. Whether that was to draw competition or because they were scared of losing, he didn't know. Didn't much care either. Well, since none of them stood out... Grabbing a piece of paper from a stack by the board, he scrawled out a note, sticking it up and walking away, leaving the room. They would find him when the time came. --- Setsuna Ai ---Clan: - / Ninja Types: - / XRP Free Agent / GeninGenjutsu Specialist // Raiton // XRP profile"Fate may deal the cards to this game called Life..."Though she was clearly not paying any attention to her surroundings, Ai hadn't completely closed off her hearing and still catching on to a bit of the conversation from earlier, it would seem that the tall man with the long plantium hair's challange was brushed off to a later time. 'Hm, to already have a line of fights waiting for him...hard to tell if that's good or bad.'
After returning her attention to staring at absolutely nothing, even Ai grew tired of it and released a tired sigh. 'I wonder if that old saying is true, you grow older every time you sigh...if that's true I'll probablty be twice my age.' Raising up both her arms, Ai stretched for a bit before getting up from her seat. Looking around the room, Ai could see that the loud anxious group from earlier were still there but by now they were drunk with merry. Shaking her head in disbelief, Ai was about to head out of the louge when she spotted the man from earlier still hanging around doing nothing.
Seeing how she was absolutely bored and knowing that the man's fight got pushed back, Ai decided that she might as well get to know some other fighters while gaining some more insight to this XRP. Walking up to him, Ai's face remained in its bored expression, revealing nothing about her interest in fighting or anything in general. Stopping when she was right next to him, Ai kept her hands intertwined behind her back and hidden from view by her fur cloak. It wasn't intentional or anything, she just perferred her hands pressed against her back and she just happened to be wearing her cloak which cosealed most of her back as well as the basic steel blade she bought earlier from the shop.
Not facing him or anything else in particular, Ai spoke in a clear and simple manner, her voice revealing a bit of interest and bordom both at the same time. "Seems to me your fight's been postponed. Stating the obvious, Ai hoped to catch the man's attention with that simple statement, afterall, anyone with a decent mind would think its weird for someone to just walk to stand beside you for no apparent reason. Before the man could have a chance to respond though, Ai threw out her battle challange. "If you're interested, I currently have some free time on my hands and am looking for a simple exhibition match with 10 credits on the line. You game?" Finally turned her head to face the man, her soft amber eyes stared at him with a challenging gaze while she waited patiently for some sort of response form the man.

Walking onto the lounge with heavy foot steps bronze stood a staggering 5'5 with a stomach the size of a war drum. Shield on his back hammer at his hip he walked over to the Challenge board his thick leather cloths shacking with his heavy movements. Reading the board he noticed a few challenges but nothing that stood out to him. Looking around the at the people and the surrounding he noticed some fights on a television, in a hearty voice that bellowed and filled the room Bronze said " Were can a thirsty hunter get a Ale? " The Irish accent he spoke with was strong in his words. As he waited for someone to answer him he stroked his long beard wild beard and thought about what kind of bear he would be having.

'Surely he's not hesitating cause I'm female. If he is...argh, forget it, not worth it.' Finally dropping her gaze back to the wall in front of her, Ai was about to speak when the hearty voice of someone with an Irish accent filled the room asking for booze. Rolling her eyes at the man's exclamation, Ai decided that it'll be best she gets out of here before things get out of control. 'Once one person starts asking for alcohol, it's bound to start a chain reaction and if the loud noices of prompus, arrogent men weren't enough to already drive me insane, drunk, arrogent, and annoying people are bound too.'
Still keeping to her natural bored tone, Ai spoke once more to the silent man dressed in black beside her. "Well, if you ever change your mind, name's Setsuna Ai." With nothing else left to say, Ai swiftly turned around and headed toward the lounge exit paying no particular attention to anything else around her. Tuning out the merry sound of the louge, Ai peacefully made it to the door undisrupted. Pushing it open, Ai stepped though heading off to nowhere in particular.

Chishio Ryouji Blood... Shall flow... Forever.... Record:]0:0 As Chishio staggered into the room, the smell of blood wafted in behind him. He glanced about the lounge, the maniacal calculation of his eyes causing those with weaker will to avert their gaze. He said not a word, but not because he was unsocial. it was just that he didn't know these people and didn't want them getting on his case. My name is on the roster. show me my opponent so that I may dispat...er...defeat them, He thought as he gave the room a second inspection. The man known as Bloodletter sat down on a couch facing the doorway and closed his eyes. Where he was from, sand often debilitated one's sight. One learned to do one's tasks without such trifles. He smelled the room, and listened to the words that would permeate its walls.

Reiko walked quietly into the room and straight up to a man with golden hair. He smelled of blood, but it didn't look like it was his. He had the maniacal look about him that marked him as a fighter. was he a well known challenger around here? She wanted to make her way up the ladder as fast as she could. She had big plans, plans the world wasn't yet ready to handle. So she'd wait, and become stronger. "So, I guess we are free to make our own challenges for now, so... Wanna fight?" Her tone was almost cheerful. anyone didn't know her already, and noone here did, would likely think that she was simply trying to make a name for herself. Noone would guess she didn't even think it was worth the bother. Still, a good fight always cheered her up in the past, and she did have reason to be here.

Chishio Ryouji Blood... Shall flow... Forever.... Record:]0:0 Chisio's eyes remained clothed as he analyzed the sounds of the new entry. Lighter footsteps, caused primarily by weight distribution would make it most likely a female. This he confirmed by the sound of her voice. He took a shallow sniff. While he couldn't actually smell fear, he could sometimes get the vibe. It wasn't with her. He wasn't in the mood to kill anyone, as he still hadn't cleaned the blood off from the last person, so he figured he would entertain her. One eye opened. "Do I want to fight? I suppose I do. I'll be seeing you in the arena." He didn't say it rudely, his tone was more or less neutral. He was rarely rude to women, something that used to subject him to a lot of ridicule growing up with raiders. That is, until he started killing anyone who spoke down on this piece of his code of conduct. After he was sure she'd heard him, he stood up and walked out towards the arena.
