Can't help it im an RPG junkie and Elder Scrolls have tickled my fancy since i started playing them. Oblivion just happens to be one of the best ones ive ever played. The only thing its truly missing is the chance for a hot steamy romance with Martin the b*****d son of the King wink
anyone see the similarity in that? blaugh

the characters in the next one look WAY better. more realistic and less... terrifying. i hope they do the same for future fallout games. 3nodding

That is true because there are some quests that you can only do when you are a high level and there are only certain animals you can kill when your a high level. but the diversity of the game is epic and its always changing and shifting and its just amazing! XD

I did play it and I enjoyed it but there's way too many things going on and at times it's hard to follow haha. I still enjoyed playing it though and I'm sad my brother decided to sell before I even had the chance to get far. I ended up playing it for about 15 hours and from what I heard there's plenty more gameplay to it. Ah maybe one day, I'll get the back again and play it properly this time.
Or....just wait until the new one comes out xd

I'm an avid rpg fan, so of course Oblivion tickled my game-playing fancy. I have things I like about the game and things I don't like about the game. I like that there are so many different things you can do. I can play the game for hours on end and not even notice the time fly by. I also found the justice system and the fame/infamy accumulation depending on what quests you chose to partake in a nice touch.
I found the leveling system a little hard to figure out at first (I had to go research it online after several attempts at trying to figure it out myself and failing... sweatdrop ), and attempting to make a decent-looking character in their character creation generator is a little daunting (all I have to say is thank goodness for my background in art...those long hours learning about facial proportions actually paid off for something OTHER than drawing/painting, lol)
I also didn't like that it was possible to accidentally kill your fellow party members in combat (did anyone else find it incredibly annoying that other party members always seemed to jump in front of your weapon of choice when you're trying to beat the stuffing out of the bad guys?)
Overall, I love the game, and I can't wait for the next one to come out. (looks VERY promising) heart

Ya can kill your crew...tho not permanent. lol yeah, actually best way to beef yourself is to put your "strong" abilities" the ones you uses the less. lol I swear I spent like 20 hours in the basement of my house just summoning skeletons using skills that weren't my bests. lol

I love it! Its one of my favorite games ever o___o Though i hate how ugly the characters are. It took me a good 3 hours JUST to make a character i felt was above average in beauty. ._. -Is really big on having her characters be pretty- xD But yes. It is quite an amazing game! <3 I lub it. Its one of my favorite non Bioware roleplay games! I really can't wait till Skyrim comes out. After reading the article about it in Gameinformer it looks amazing : D

Oh how I love my oblivion. Im a Listener of the Dark Mother, Grand Champion of all of Cyrodil, Master of the Thieves Guild, Master of the Fighters Guild, Summoner of Daedra Lords, and Owner of the Legendary Aven Draconis Armor and Weapons. God how I love oblivion.
Oblivion has the biggest world and best interactions, only problems was graphics and characer design were a bit dodgy and making your own face was terrible. In the end went with a premade face and just basic hair. Started wearing epic helmets very soon lol.
Also I am sooooo gonna preorder Skyrim as soon as I can.

Also I wish you could romance people, like Ocheeva then you could do a quest where you covince the dark mother to spar her or something. Be epic that would. Also wanted to romance the Duchess of Dementia a bit to become the Duke of Dementia or one her of servent girls. Also wanted to romance a Dark Seducer hm hm lol.
Yes Yes I know it all sounds like Im such a romancer but I really just love the plot romances add.
