Iris had found the one place she could rely on for training. The one place nobody else could bother her. Nobody could reach her here. Nobody could watch her do something stupid in an effort to better her Senshi attacks.

Nobody around to watch her throw a yellow boomerang around in space.

She spent much time throwing the makeshift weapon about, careful to not disturb what wooden pieces remained in the sand. She had decided that the very last thing she'd do whenever she visited this asteroid was try her luck with her attack. It always left her with so little energy after using the attack, that it was just a good idea to wait til the end when she could go home and just collapse on her bed.

Sometimes it was hard to see where the bright yellow boomerang landed, simply because the senshi of rainbows was on the dark side of the asteroid.

Casually she commented after throwing the tool further than she expected to "Sh*t... one'a these days, I'm gonna try figurin' out why it's always so dark 'ere..." With a slight shrug, she then began to jog towards where she had flung the boomerang. This one had gone particularly far and had wobbled off to the left a bit. Not quite what a boomerang was supposed to do still. It was getting closer, but not quite would NEVER be good enough.

"It really went far this time... damn!" the blonde exclaimed before letting out an impressed whistle. In all honesty, she was wandering away from the usual simple wooden ruins. And that boomerang was still not coming into sight. Sailor Iris eventually stopped when something came into view. It wasn't a boomerang, however, it was a very familiar shape.

"...a wheel?"

It was a shoddy looking wheel at best. It was made of wheel, it looked half rotted, the spokes being absolutely broken away. It was large though. It was perhaps the size of a wheel on a large industrial truck or a bus.

The mechanic in Sailor Iris was itching at the fingers to touch the wheel, but for a brief moment, she recalled what had happened on a previous adventure to the asteroid. A simple touch managed to make another wood ruin completely disintegrate. She wasn't about to risk that with this new discovery.

"...a wheel..." for a moment, she remained standing there, arms crossing in an effort to keep warm and an effort to prevent her fingers from touching this vaguely more intriguing ruin. It was simply just a wheel, yet for some reason, she couldn't help but feel like she didn't want to abandon it. What could such a wheel belong to? It was only after her own voice seemed to echo in her mind that she managed to figure out something.

"I don't think I could ever live in a wagon like yours, Babba!"

"...it's a wagon wheel..." What could have been so important about a wagon wheel that made her not want to leave it? Stepping away, the winged senshi moved onward. Yet, even then, after forcing herself to push forward, she couldn't help but feel as if she still wanted to run back to the rotting wheel.

It took her about another 10 feet of wandering before she located her boomerang. It was partially buried in the dark sand thanks to how it had been wobbling to the side. For now, all she did was brush the sand away.

"One last thin' t'do!" Once more, she took in a deep breath, as if concentrating deeply. Her hands glowed, and she clapped them together before closing her eyes.

One thing... not many... she tried to remember, trying to push out any sense of multiple colors from her brain. When she parted her hands, she formed a medium sized rainbow within her palms.

"Iris Rainbow REVENGE!!"

She whipped her arms forward to thrust the attack away from her. It still wobbled, but with less uncertainty than her usual throws.

Yet something else seemed to give. The colored bands broke. Initially it was just one break, separating all the warm and cool colors. Then, the cool colors broke down too, forming a total of three bands.

"....well f*ck it... one day... I'll figger it out..." She leaned forward, shoulders slumping tiredly as she attempted to snatch up her boomerang. It took two tries before it was back in her fingers.

"Alright... let's blow this Popsicle stand!" She whipped out her transporter (which was a much more awesome name than calling it a cell phone), and after taking a moment to concentrate, she was heading home. That nap definitely sounded good right now. Very good.
