SpitShine was led by a black cat that he assumed must be a senior warrior. He walked stiffly and thus he was not worth the time to attack. Spitshine’s mind ticked and turned. He had gotten one…if not two of the cats here sick… That’s all he needed.. The virus would spread and one by one the forest cats would die.
He stepped lightly through the harsh ground cover. Mud... Out of all the territories he hated this the most. Spitshine after all had scouted the lands out... It wasn't like he could kill the clans going in blind. He had to make this land safe for his kin.
Spitshine had studied the sickness. It was passed on two ways... By direct contact of blood to blood or spit to blood or pretty much any contact.... Or the other was through breeding. The kits will have the sickness. He was lead through the brambles and into the camp. The black tom flicked his tail and an apprentice went running for Moonstar and FoxStar.Shadowclan only at the moment. Part 1- RiverclanPart 2- Shadowclan Part 2b.- Half-moon Medicine cat meeting. Part 3- Windclan Part 4- Thunderclan Keep an eye out for random items... If you are the first to quote the post you can get the item edited onto the cat you rp picking up the item. Tidepaw spat out a clump of filthy moss. So she had baited a ThunderClan warrior--so what? That was no reason for Stingstripe to force her to clean the elder's den for an entire moon.
She was so caught up in her work that she didn't even notice her fellow apprentice go racing past her in the other direction. The smell of the loner, now, that was different. She looked up sharply and shouted, "Oi! You! Move along! ShadowClan doesn't like your type! Leave the camp or our leaders will have a fit! 'Smatter of fact, I won't even bother to tell them! I'll just deal with you myself." She sat up haughtily, ignoring the bits of old bedding clinging to her black fur.

"What is that?"
A frown marred Whitestrike's maw as he glanced up to see Spitshine being led into the camp. He had just deposited his catch for the day, a rather meager one at that, into the clan's stores. He was hungry, very hungry, but he hadn't eaten his share yet. He was rather embarrassed by his small cache, so he almost debated not eating at all... Almost, he was still hungry. He certainly wouldn't eat any more than he deserved, but he was going to eat.
The young tom plodded towards the arrivals, bristling. He definitely was much like the rest of his clan. He didn't like strangers.
"What you doin?" He yowled, only shortly after Tidepaw, equally bothered by Spitshine's presence.

A Clanmate! Excellent! Hard to chase off an intruder by oneself. "Come on, Whitestrike, let's show this loner a little bit of ShadowClan...hospitality," she said with a grin. "I'll betcha ThunderClan wouldn't mind another kittypet mook in their ranks!" She turned back towards Spitshine. "We'll give you a headstart, because we're just nice like that. But not too nice. That's why we'll be chasing you." I swear to StarClan, Stingstripe, if you return from border patrol early, I will never forgive you. This is way more fun than cleaning out bedding!

Rottenbone sat down once the apprentice had gone running. It really wasn't anything big, but his old joints were starting to stiffen with the changing temperatures. He kept his eye on the tom cat. Rottenbone had tried to run the tom off. It was a long story about how he was attacked for no reason on the streets of twoleg place. He had argued and said he had no reason to feel sorry for the tom. Rottenbone had then had his heart strings pulled when that same tom started to limp away. He had simply thought to have LarkSparrow make sure the wound on his shoulder didn't become infected... They could chase him off after that. He awaited one of their leaders. He assumed moonstar would rant a bit and then give him the treatment and then kick him to the curb...lest that was how she was when she had first become leader. RottenBone's ears pricked. "Mind Yourself TidePaw..." Rottenbone leveled his eyes on the apprentice. "Moonstar and Foxstar will have the last say..."
Spitshine was on his best behavior. He wanted to get the infection into this clan but mostly he had wanted to get it to this clan's medicine cat. He had done his research... LarkSparrow was probably the most knowledgeable medicine cat... if anyone could figure out the cure it would be her.... and that was not ok. He licked his lips carefully to make sure there was no drool. That was probably the most unpleasant side-effect. Well aside from the itching... or maybe the vomiting. He looked at the Apprentice. He wasn't disturbed in the least he just sat there with his eyes locked onto the apprentice. If the Apprentice attacked he could start spreading the sickness sooner then he thought.
BackLash pulled himself into the clearing. He could already hear people talking and his nose twitched violently at the smell. There was loner in the camp. He raised his lip in a snarl but no sound came out. He flicked his tail. Well Moonstar wouldn't stand for this... and Rottenbone would be in trouble for bringing the cat to the camp.

Whitestrike brushed against Tidepaw in a friendly manner, backing her as they approached Rottenbone and the stranger. He was glad to know that his clanmates were about as thrilled as he was. Anger coursed through his veins as the apprentice was told to check herself. His pelt bristled and he narrowed his eyes at the equally dark tom.
"You know they won't be happy to see that thing here. We ought to chase it off like you should have earlier. Starclan only knows what sort of parasite it carries! Fleas, mange, you name it! He should be handed over to Thunderclan. They're known for taking in rogues and kittypets, anyways. What's the harm in sending another one over there?" He sneered as he backed the black and blue apprentice.
Silverfire bristled as she followed Backlash into the clearing. The fluffy, crimson feline was nonplussed at Rottenbone's little surprised guest. Her long, silver tail flicked in annoyance and her eyes narrowed unhappily.
"What is that and can we kill-er-chase it away." She grunted irritably. Nope, the leaders would not be happy.

((Whoa someone who dislikes rottenbone?))
Rottenbone rolled his eyes. "I tried... It wouldn't go... So instead of die fighting... i brought him back here so all of you could have some fun..." His dark eyes stared. "Now... You too need to settle yourself Whitestrike... last time i checked you didn't have the authority to chose who came and went..." Rottenbone was a senior warrior. He was pretty close to being promoted to deputy at one time. He had a leader's head on his shoulders. But he knew when he was wrong... and for the first time in a long time he felt he was very wrong. He stood, it looked like he was advancing on Whitestrike but really he was trying to get away from the loner's stench.
Spitshine looked around. He was simply sitting there. Waiting for these cats to finally get their heads together.

( Don't mind him, he's just a young upstart xD;; )
"So instead you've decided to piss off half the clan, I get it." Whitestrike was young and, well, hardheaded. He was a hard and diligent worker, but a bit rough around the edges. That and he had this horrible want to prove himself. Even if that meant mouthing off to Rottenbone over something, whether it was trivial or not. He was glad this thing wasn't as trivial as something else he might have gotten his tail in a knot over. This had some substance to it and he wasn't about to drop it.
"Last time I checked, you weren't even picked for Deputy, ol' timer, so you really don't have room to say who stays or goes, either. The simple fact that you brought in some filthy looking stranger can put our clan in jeopardy, do you even care?" He challenged, rolling his shoulders and lifting his head.
And that advancement only spurred the young upstart on even further. He lashed out with a paw.

Magmafang had been sitting a few fox lengths from the small group that was gathering by the rogue, finishing up a frog and watching with interest. Now he felt it was time to intercede. He gulped down the last of his frog and padded towards the group.
"Calm down, Whitestrike, lashing out at your fellow clanmates won't solve anything. Rottenbone may not have been chosen for deputy, but I have and I agree with him. Moonstar and Foxstar have the final say in what we do with this rogue, especially considering that he is now in our camp, so will someone please go let them know what's happening?" Magmafang tried to keep his voice calm and choose his words carefully, but it was clear that he was agitated. If it were up to him, he would've chased this rogue out long ago, but it wasn't up to him.

A tail flick signalled three things: conciousness, reaction, and annoyance. It was a rare day of a good dream, and the commotion outside, the rising of voices, higher and higher, wouldn't leave her be. Where was Foxstar when he was needed? Were male leaders good for nothing?
Moonstar huffed, shook out her fur, and stepped out of her den. "What's going on here?" she yowled loud enough for everyone's attention. She glanced over the clearing, fixing voices with faces that she'd lash out at later. Whitestrike was not about to come out of this one in one piece.
Her clouded gaze hardened instantaneously at the loner. "Get out." was her only comment. She didn't care if he came for help or StarClan themselves; whoever he was, he wasn't necessary. There were enough mixed-bloods and rogues in this forsaken Clan.

Rottenbone dodged the paw that was coming for him. He had trained many apprentices. Whitestrike wasn't one of his apprentices, and thus rottenbone would have no problem taking care of him. Or so would have been the case if her was 4 years younger. He felt all of his 7 years. It wasn't old old for a cat, but it was getting there. Before he could retaliate he was stopped. Well Whitestrike was stopped. MagmaFang was younger the himself, but for some reason that didn't bother Rottenbone. He flicked his tail and twisted his ears back. He had denied the spot as deputy... His spot went to HarbingerSight... and he didn't begrudge the cat at all... All that meant was he could move to the elders den when his joints finally got too stiff. "I already sent an apprentice... However I don't know if they made it."
And then a grumpy furball emerged from the leaders den. He frowned as moonstar gave her dictation. He felt his pelt bristle slightly at her attitude on just kicking him out when he was clearly bleeding from his shoulder. But he kept his mouth shut.

At first, Tidepaw felt better for the warrior's presence at her side. It was nice to know that there were some ShadowClanners ready to defend the Clan's honor. However, when Whitestrike spoke out against Rottenbone, she felt herself leaning away. Rottenbone was a pillar of the Clan! How dare Whitestrike speak out against him?! "Chill out, Whitestrike," she meowed. "Rottenbone might not agree with us, but he's not all ba--" Whitestrike's swipe at the senior warrior cut her off and she leapt to the side. In all, she was glad when Magmafang showed up, and gladder still when Moonstar appeared.
She had already long respected her leader, but just those few curt words earned her the eternal, undying admiration of Tidepaw. She grinned and lashed her tail back and forth. "Moonstar, may I help chase him out?" she asked sweetly.

Spitshine twitched his ears in was looked outwardly like discomfort and embarrassment but in reality it was his way of showing amusement. He looked to magmafang and flicked his ears to hear what he was saying. His lip curled in a kind of snarl smirk. "Now boy's you are both right... " He flinched however as he heard moonstar's voice. He had praying to his ancestors that it would be FoxStar over moonstar... He turned and frowned. Well it seemed he would have to use his bartering skills.
Turning to look at Moonstar he ducked his head politely. "Pardon my intrusion... I really only came here to warn you about something." He tried to stand and purposefully faltered. His acting skills had been perfected and thus it looked like he was in terrible pain. "I was on my way to warn Riverclan, their patrol wouldn't let me speak, they attacked me and cased me out." He mentally frowned at himself. "I had found my way here, I know some cats who have had dealings with the forest clans. I just wanted to warn the clans." He flicked his ears. "I think it maybe too late for Riverclan... But you can still prevent it. Please can your medicine cat look at my shoulder, i still have a long journey home, After that i will tell you all about this coming travesty."
He didn't know if he had gotten through to MoonStar but if her didn't well Infecting the clan's leader would be good too. The medicine cat would eventually have to check on her... she would lash out and LarkSparrow would be contaminated too... But he wanted ...no needed to make sure.

He bristled in aggrivation. While Rottenbone had skill advantage, he knew he had youthful vigor in his paws. Before the situation could escalate further, Magmafang and Moonstar entered the scene. While he sort of wished he and Rottenbone could have settled this by themselves, he was glad for the interruption. Something needed to be done about the intruder, anyways, and he was glad that Moonstar was the one who came, even though he was certain he'd be chewed over later for his behavior, he was angry about Spitshine even being there and angrier still that Rottenbone advanced on him, first.
Moonstar's words made him immensely proud to follow her. She knew what was best, obviously. There had been far too many rogues and filthy half-breeds in their midst. They didn't need this one, especially when he looked so unkempt and filthy anyways.
Silverfire watched, abhorred that the young Warrior actually swiped at Rottenbone. She didn't agree with his decision, but she doubted even she, known for being a bit ornery, would go that far. He was well respected, after all, and that was one smart way to find yourself frowned upon.
She light up when Tidepaw asked about helping to chase him off.
"Oh, yes! Moonstar, can I help, too?"

Magmafang narrowed his eyes at the rogue. What could this rogue possibly have to warn the clans about? How could he know anything the clan cats didn't already know? He wondered if there was a different story behind why RiverClan attacked the rogue, but he couldn't think of anything other than them defending their territory.
"And why should we trust you?" he asked. Just because the rogue was hurt didn't mean that anyone should listen to him, especially ShadowClan. Magmafang said nothing more, only waited for Moonstar's okay to chase the rogue out with the other cats who had volunteered.
