Take a deep breath, dear Wincantherian- here is a simple guide on the formulation of journal battle statistics and ones' Battle Chart.

Everyone has a Chart. It shows your strength and your skill, and some basic information about your capabilities. It's important to fill it out correctly, and attach it to your Journal.

…Basics of Battle Charts

So, let us begin. A Battle Chart will include information pertaining to battle only, such as:

Character Qualities:
• Level (LVL): The level of experience your character has.
• Class: Either: Mage, Warrior, Rogue, Archer or Gunner.
• Species: what species you are. If you have trouble with this, dear Wincantherian, you've issues.

Attacks and Magics:
• Skills: Physical moves you have available in battle.
• Magic: Magical abilities you have available in battle.

To understand more about what magic and skills you can choose, what they are, and what they do, check the same-titled threads in this forum.

Items and Equipment:
• Armour: The weapon you've carried into combat with you.
• Weapons:The armour you've worn into battle.
• Items:Any items carried.

Items may only be used after they are received or purchased from us. We will be checking to insure you have not invented your own!

All Statistics:
• Health Points (HP): total HP
• Magic Points (MP)-: total MP
• Magic Power (MAG): total MAG
• Attack Power (ATTK): total ATTK
• Defense Power (DEF): total DEF

To understand more about applying experience points to your statistics, and how strong you can get in each statistic- just check the threads dealing with such.

Once a Battle Chart is filled out, it should be segmented into two parts- the Journal Chart, and the Quick Battle Chart.

A. Journal Battle Chart
Here you should house the full battle chart, with the Species caps in place, and your total of it, with ALL your acquired skills, weapons, armour and items on display. This will be here for you to keep track of your progress, and show proof when it's needed. This functions as your inventory and a full listing of your learned abilities.

B. Quick Battle Chart.
This will be much more brief and will actually be the chart you use in battle. It's easy to use, and will break off to be even more simple as the battle continues.

…Level One Species Battle Charts

Carefully review each species:
• Each starts with a different bonus stat.
• Each has a different amount of Skills, Magics and Items that can be brought into battle at any one time. This cap has no affect on the amount total you may acquire, but only what can be brought into battle at any one time- so do not worry, dear Wincantherian, your horde of glittering objects is not threatened.

• All Species May Carry 1 Armour, and 1 Weapon.
• All Species HP/MP may not exceed 1000. You are not a mountain.

When You Decide:
• Apply your starting 25 Exp. Points to your base LVL 1 Chart.

Human Battle Chart

LVL1 Human Statistics
HP: 125/1000
MP: 125/1000

Magic: 5/23 Once Magic is maxed, no more Exp can be added.
Attack: 5/24 Once Attack is maxed, no more Exp can be added.
Defense: 5/23 Once Defense is maxed, no more Exp can be added.

Skills: Humans can use 2 Skills in battle.
Magic: Humans can use 2 Magics in battle.
Items: Humans can carry 3 Items into battle.

Taur Battle Chart

LVL1 Taur Statistics
HP: 200/1000
MP: 50/1000

Magic: 0/0 No Exp can be added.
Attack: 10/40 Once Attack is maxed, no more Exp can be added.
Defense: 5/30 Once Defense is maxed, no more Exp can be added.

Skills: Taur can use 4 Skills in battle.
Magic: Taur can use 1 Magic in battle.
Items: Taur can carry 2 Items into battle.

Lycan Battle Chart

LVL1 Lycan Statistics
HP: 150/1000
MP: 100/1000

Magic: 3/20 Once Magic is maxed, no more Exp can be added.
Attack: 6/30 Once Attack is maxed, no more Exp can be added.
Defense: 6/20 Once Defense is maxed, no more Exp can be added.

Skills: Lycan can use 3 Skills in battle.
Magic: Lycan can use 3 Magics in battle.
Items: Lycan can carry 1 Item into battle

Lyre Battle Chart

LVL1 Lyre Statistics
HP: 100/1000
MP: 150/1000

Magic: 6/30 Once Magic is maxed, no more Exp can be added.
Attack: 3/25 Once Attack is maxed, no more Exp can be added.
Defense: 6/15 Once Defense is maxed, no more Exp can be added.

Skills: Lyre can use 3 Skills in battle.
Magic: Lyre can use 3 Magics in battle.
Items: Lyre can carry 1 Item into battle.

Fae Battle Chart

LVL1 Fae Statistics
HP: 75/1000
MP: 175/1000

Magic: 10/50 Once Magic is maxed, no more Exp can be added.
Attack: 0/0 No Exp can be added.
Defense: 5/20 Once Defense is maxed, no more Exp can be added.

Skills: Fae can use 1 Skill in battle.
Magic: Fae can use 5 Magics in battle.
Items: Fae can carry 1 Item into battle

…Filling out a Battle Chart

This is fairly straightforward. Once you copy the proper code, it is a simple matter to fill in the detail from there. Journals carry complete information, and the Quick Battle Chart carries only what information is needed for immediate combat.

This thread contains examples of both Journal and Quick Battle Charts.

Journal Battle Charts:
A Journal Chart keeps track of all statistics- not just what is currently in use by way of Magics and Abilities. As you can see in the example, it tallies what you have against the max amount available in those statistics. Under Skills and Magics, it has a complete list of all that you have acquired, and all items, armour and weapons are also on display. It is stored, as the name would suggest, in your Journal, and serves as your full ability listing as well as your inventory. Keep it updated!

All magic, skills, items and weapons carry complete descriptions as well as instructions.

Quick Battle Charts:
This is the chart you will be using in battle. It is for your first prior-to-battle post, and then easily segments for further use. This chart only displays your current highs in statistics and only the items, weapons, armour, magic and skills you will be using during play.
