The day was bright and sunny, if not a bit cool, but still wonderful to Mi Ren Ko. But.. what reason did she have for it to not be a good day?
She stood on the edge of a forest, looking out into into a field. All of the trees had recently shed their leaves. The white and pink mare was very obvious against the scenery. Not that she was really trying to hide. It felt so amazing to be outside..

The break in the cold was something Aerien welcomed with an open heart. The warm sunlight felt amazing on his wings, which had started to ache under the constant chill of the winter air.
He let his wings rise and fall slowly as he meandered through the short grass that poked through the melting snowblanket of an open field. With his mind elsewhere, he nearly didn't notice the mare that stood at the edge of the woods. Not until he caught the slight glitter of gold that was her horn.
He stilled his steps and turned his head after the mare, though it still wasn't her that he noticed. With wings held stilled, his violet eyes focused on the spear of shine rather in awe.

The wings on the stallion was the first thing Ren noticed, but her blue eyes traveled over the rest him quickly. He was very handsome.. She couldn't help but smile when she realized his eyes were locked on her horn. She stepped towards him in a friendly way, lowering her head just a little with a soft smile.
"Hello there.. Can I help you?" She hadn't seen anything like him before. "My name is Mi Ren Ko." The light seemed to play on his coat, showing many entrancing colors. That observation made her even happier to see this beautiful male. "But please, just call me Ren."

"Ren," he echoed with a shy dip of his head. His embarrassment was overwhelming, so much so that it was almost humorous to him. "My name is Aerien." He wanted to apologize for staring, for drawing her forth. But he couldn't find the words.
"Ah," His wings fluttered in reflection of his unease. "I was just admiring your..." What was that, anyways? He gave a subtle nod after appendage and offered a crooked smile as his ears swivelled.

Ren smiled warmly at him. "It's very nice to meet you, Aerien," she could easily understand why he had been staring. She had been watching him very closely, too. "Oh, my horn? Most of my family has one.. It's been there all my life." Her ears were perked up, showing her cheerfulness.
"I have never seen wings as beautiful as yours before.." She ducked her head sheepishly, feeling shy for a moment.

Ren's words brought a smile to Aerien's features, and as she complimented his wings he glanced after them, letting them flutter in show for her. Her moment of shyness made him relax a little, and he stepped closer to the mare.
"You must not have seen many a flutter in your life then...My wings pale in comparison to some of those I've seen. Though, I admit myself that I haven't seen many a flutter."
He let out a quiet laugh, his wings fluttering again before he let them rest low. "Your horn is very lovely. It stands out quite a lot against your coat. Much like your eyes."
