 "Piercing of metal in infinite colors,~" A young Phim danced through the air, singing as she went. "Tackle box sisters and tackle box brothers...~" Her melodic voice drifted across the field below her. "Surface and eyebrow and even lip rings, these are a few of my favorite things!~" With the last two words, Lyrica flew straight up in a spiral that ended in giggling. Ah, it felt great to stretch her wings in a place with only a few trees. The fresh air, the warm sun, the gentle breeze... Nothing could ruin this day for her. Not even a hot-headed Deava!
Giggling still, Lyrica swooped down and flew fast just inched from the grass tips. This low to the ground is where she felt the fasted, with the earth rushing past so close she could smell every flower, every critter, every... wait. Slamming on her breaks she pulled herself upright, wings beating frantically. Wait. Her eyes narrowed. She wasn't alone. Quickly her eyes scanned the few trees around her. Surely whatever, or whoever, was hiding in the trees. The grass wasn't tall enough to hide in... wasn't it?

 Radu yawned and grunted as he shifted in his tree. It had been such a nice nap, until something had woken him up. Now here he was staring hiden by leaves hiding from his worst nightmare. That d*** goose Phim from before. If she found him that Radu felt like he would never escape. When she had met him the first time she had followed him and followed him no matter what he did to drive her off. Nuisance that is she’ll do it again. I even kissed her in the hopes of repulsing her so she would fly off. The look on the Phim’s face after that was etched into his memory. It had been cute. Seeing that face again was why Radu had stuck around the Phim for a while tormenting her. Still her strong personality is more like a Deava then a Phim so that’s alright to deal with. It was fun to make her ask for help... but if she found me here she would start stalking me all over again and my nice quite peaceful afternoon would be shot to he**. It’s better just to let her continue on her way and leave me be.

Frowning, Lyrica began dancing among the trees. She knew that scent. That was the scent of a Deava, and not just any Deava. Radu. "Hot-headed stuck-up repulsive nasty flirtatious playing beast of foul!" She mumbled under her breath. If Lyrica thought about it, she could still taste that wretched, horrible kiss he had given her. Though, she had kissed him once after that, hoping to freak him out. Didn't work. Silently she swore she would rip his precious tongue out if he tried to kiss her again.
Good gracious! She was thinking quite like a Deava herself! "No no no, that simply will not due. I am a Phim. A Modiphim. An angel of sorts, and Radu is a demon!" Snorting, she stopped at a big wide tree. With a jolt, she realized through all her ranting and raving she had continued to search for the foul beast. Moving aside a leafy branch, she found him.
"Hello there, Radu-Dear!"

Oh s*** was the first thought that crossed Radu’s mind. He wanted to rip out her pretty little throat when she called him ‘dear’, still he said he hated she would call him it even more. After hearing at least the end part of the goose modiphim’s rand he knew how to start speaking with her though. Well, hello there little goose. Don’t you know you should call a demon by name? We tend to appear when you do. He allowed his voice to drip with malice even though he kept his face perfectly composed.
Tell me exactly why are you calling me a demon again? You are the one who bit me and was so very cruel to harmless little me. Radu pulled a innocent hurt face that would have fooled most anyone if they hadn’t known him for more than a few hours. Radu was skilled enough that little tears looked like they were forming in his eyes. In truth it was because he was holding back blinking and the breeze and dust from Lyrica’s wing beats was irriating his eyes. Still he used it to his advantage.

Rolling her eyes, Lyrica swatted him out of the tree and took his place on the branch, tail wagging. "I call you a demon because you are pure evil, my Dearest~" She loved calling him that, because it was the only thing she could call him that irked him. "And yes, I bit that nasty tail of yours because you so cruelly ripped the tree branch out of my feather. Sighing, Lyrica rubbed her wing at the memory of it.
"So my Love, what brings you out here to stalk me, hm? Just had to see your little goosey again?" Her tone was the sweetest of sweet, though she knew Radu could detect the sarcasm underneath. For some reason, Lyrica just loved toying with this fox as much as he loved toying with her.

Radu landed with a thump on a lower branch. He looked up at Lyrica and smiled kindly as he envised setting her on fire and ending the ‘dearest’ crap once and for all. I only saved you from breaking your wing when you could no longer flap to keep yourself up. Yet you call me such horrible names for my nice deeds. You know you should have let me burn that tree down. It would have saved you a lot of pain.
Snorting Radu tried not to laugh. Oh of course I had to stalk you. It’s so hard to torment a dream since after a while it gets boring. Even dreaming of ripping you apart piece by piece can only be done so many times before it gets tiresome. Still the nap before your screeching woke me up was nice is that really how you sing? Radu frowned and shuddered.

Lyrica tucked that little tid-bit about her voice away for future use.
Growling in a very un-Phim like manner, she beat her wings hard to kick up leaves and dust, being quite careful not to repeat the earlier incident. "Oooo what a gentleman! Saving me at the last freaking second and quite harshly too!" Somehow this male managed to really bring out her attitude.
With a huff, she settled her wings. "You talk a lot, little Radu, but other than the kisses you have yet to do me any physical harm." Her voice was nonchalant, almost musical. "All huff, no puff!~" Hm... "Huff no puff, huff no puff, huff no huff no huff no puff~" She sang, leaning down so her lips were at his ear. Then, right before he could snap at her, she gave that ear a quick lick and jumped up to a higher branch.

Rolling his eyes Radu thought how luck the little.. Phim was for moving higher. He was about to snap his jaws around her and shake his head until he broke something. Preferably her. I’m more of a gentleman than you are a damsel in distress. You snapped at me after helping you rather then thanking me. Some ‘angel’ you are. After all like you said I’ve done any physical harm to you. Unlike you Paraná. Radu turned and rubbed his tail in mock grief keeping an eye on Lyrica still. Not only that but you have tackled me twice just to be on top. I doubt a normal male could handle that kind of aggression. Radu winked at Lyrica with this last lewd comment. It was certain to grate on her nerves and that’s just what he wanted.

Throughout Radu's little rant, Lyrica was plucking and dropping leaves down on him. However, at his 'on top' comment she dropped a pinecone instead. "I've never been a damsel in distress, I snapped because you darn near ripped out my feathers, thank you for getting me loose, you eavesdrop too much, you keep threatening physical harm, and I think you LIKE me being on top!" At the end of her little one-breath spat she stuck out her cute little tongue.

Radu only sighed mentally as the pinecone bounced off his wings. What is it with her and throwing things at me, the little brat. At least it’s not rocks. Thank the modities for that. I’d have to kill her for that. Radu grinned at her fast short replies. You sure looked like one in that tree. You are most welcome little goose. Radu flavored that last statement with sarcasm. I didn’t eavesdrop you rambled out loud. I might threaten, but I never did any harm to you. As for being on top.. Well I wouldn’t mind if it was a pretty girl on top, but you’re a little forceful for such a dull colored boring Phim.

Lyrica scowled. She knew he was doing it on purpose, but the continuous hits to her pelt were starting to really get to her. Her pelt... she hated it. She hated it hated it hated it. Ever since she was a kit. Only when her mother called her 'goose girl' with love did she like it just a little bit. Her sisters... She shook her head and glared at Radu.
"I'm only forceful because you swore when we first met that I was defenseless. Besides, don't you think, looking like someone's dinner, that I should be forceful to keep myself alive?" Her eyes were fierce, but for just a split second hurt and pain flashed in them. Snorting and shaking her head, Lyrica flew out of the tree, landed gracefully on the ground, and began picking at the grass with a single claw. How did she let this... this... monster get to her? Why did she even stick around to let him? Was she really a masochistic fool, like he had once called her?

Radu yawned enjoying her suffering. He spread his wings and flew around Lyrica coming to rest in front of her. Do you realize that this is the first time you haven’t hit or thrown anything at me went I mocked you coat. Is your arm finally starting to cramp up on you? For a moment Radu wondered if he was masochistic for coming back to the phim that so irritated him. Still he convinced himself that he was coming down to torment her more. Nothing else.
Well at least when you look like someone’s dinner males that date you might be more cautious about using a line like “mm baby you look so good I just want eat you up.” Radu choked back a laugh imaging Fivel using that line on Lyrica. It was quickly followed by the mental image of her biting Fivel and hissing at him until he left her alone. Radu held up a paw level with Lyrica’s forehead and fliped it out in the equivalent of what humans would call flicking. Besides you’re not as defenseless as you would appear Lyrica. Radu rolled the ‘R’ longer than he usually did.

For a second Lyrica thought about slapping a pawful of grass in the blue and black monster's face to make up for no pinecone in reach, but decided to just let it slide this time. She'd find a big rock later and fix him up good. !!! The vixen's eyes flew wide at this thought and her cheeks turned pink. How could she think that? That was not what a Phim, or a lady, was supposed to think!!! Shaking her head quickly she turned her attention to the leech in front of her.
Ignoring the flicking paw and the rolling 'r' that made her fur twitch as always, she addressed Radu's last comment. "Of course I'm not! Thank you ever so much for acknowledging that." She put as much sincerity into that last sentence as she could, with a little bit of sarcasm for flavor. "After all, Dear, I've spent most of my life on my own, in the wild, where big bad foxies always tried to roast me over a fire." A smile curled on her lips, and with a flowing motion she stood and began to circle Radu seductively, her tail brushing under his chin. "Oh, but Radu-Dearest would never do such an awful, awful thing like that, would he?"

Radu watched as Lyrica was glaring and nearly laughed when her eyes widened as she blushed and she shook her head before going back to glaring at him. I wonder what thought she had that could make her blush. Probably something violent or filthy I should keep pestering her about what a male might use to hit on her just to make her do that again. That was almost cute. It might have been worth the little b**** waking me up if I get to pester her like this more. Who knows maybe I’ll even find a way to make her snap. That would be fun.
Radu nodded with a smile on his face as she started speaking after her fur twitched. The smile lost a bit of its joy as she called him ‘dear’ though. How he hated being called dear. There wasn’t any particular reasoning behind it he just couldn’t stand the word being applied to him. The softness of her tail under his chin was pleasant and he considered biting it and yanking as payback for what she had done before; however, he restrained himself as he listened to what the whelp had to say. Oh no I would never roast you alive and laugh as your feathers burned and fur charred that would be rude of me. Radu smirked at Lyrica wondering what her fur would smell like as it was singed from her. Still if she wants to play the coy seductress act for a while, why not let her. The one she can humiliate is herself.

Lyrica giggled. "See? Of course you wouldn't. You're too much of a gentleman!" Not at all on accident, on her last circle she stepped on Radu's tail, though didn't put her weight on it. "Ha! You couldn't be a gentleman if you tried, Dearest Deary Dear!"
Swiping her paw along the length of his tail, she grinned at him, then launched herself into the air. Why? She didn't really know. Maybe to see if Radu would follow, maybe just to feel the wind for a second, maybe to get away from the nasty Deava Dear. Whatever the reason was, Lyrica just made lazy circles like a vulture over Radu.
