His head was lowered after days of just walking and thought. Little sleep, due to the fact old nightmares were being seen in his mind's eye each time he laid to sleep. Foggy images of things he barely remembers ever seeing. This blind male was finding it harder to face these dreams alone. He also knew within years not to far from his seven; that his time was to be up. Things cornered his mind as he waltzed towards the pride's outskirts. The things were his younger self telling him that it was a waste of life going back to pride life. But the Goddess of the Lost was right; maybe he was a lonely old rogue. He felt like he needed a pride now, was this her enchantings? Was she bringing him towards the pride to show him what he really needed deep down in his heart; a home.
Had Kivuli been wrong to leave his parents within the pride that demanded him as a leader? No Kivuli never wanted to be a leader. His blind sight flickered though as he felt the presences of many around. Lifting his head, his large body beginning to tower in its form as he looked around curiously into the air. He could not see but he could smell them off in the distance. However he felt one not to far off. A sweet smell caressing his nose as he moved his head to 'acknowledge' her. He felt her air mysterious.

Mwana had chosen to explore the pridelands today. After weeks spent tucked away studying the pride's various ceremonies and protocols, she had felt the need for a breath of fresh, if warm, air. After wandering along with nothing on her mind except how nice the day was, she was a little surprised to find herself neared the edge of the pride's boarder than the interior. Blinking pale lilac eyes she finally focused and looked around, but thankfully recognised the stand of scrubby trees that marked one of the paths back towards the pride.
At least I stayed close to where I knew.. she thought with a soft half-smile before suddenly something caught her eye. There, by the trees, was a darker shape, to be precise, black and.. green? Pausing she studied the figure, but he, for it was most certainly a large male, didn't seem to be passing through, since he was standing still.
Taking a breath she looked around, but of course she was alone out here. Gathering her courage she slowly walked nearer, drawing to a halt a few paces from him. Telling her heart to quiet its frantic pounding, she gathered her nerves and smiled shyly. "Greetings Sir.. can I help you?"

His blind eyes went to shift to her, but as they did they were off by a good couple of feet to her left. Then he scented her and his entire face turned to her. "Pardon me if I seem.. airy." He hadn't heard a sweeter voice before. A smile was gaining on his jowls. The older lion nosed towards her for a moment. "You are the scent that caught me off guard.. I was told to go this way by a Goddess. She said I would find home.." His head cocked a little to the side.
Then he shook his mighty mane and chuckled. "Pardon me, I am Kivuli Faraji..."

For a moment her heart beat sped up, fluttering frantically in her chest like a caged bird as she stared up at the stranger who was acting unusual and really rather frightening. Was he mind-sick? But he was so tall.. and far more powerful than her. If he attacked...
But after a moment his gaze settled normally on her and then he spoke... and what a voice, so rich and warm. How could he possibly be bad with a voice like that? But then the slender lioness got the biggest shock, he spoke of the Goddess. Stunned at a very deep, profound level the young priestess could only stare, jaw agape for a long heart beat.
"I... you... she....." Stumbling over her words, mind a whirl, Mwana simply blinked at him until she finally seemed to catch her thoughts and reassert some semblance of control over her self.
"The Goddess?"
Swallowing she barely even registered what it was he had said first, only the back of her mind catching it and storing i for when the rest of her faculties had returned. Amazement gave way to joy and a deep thrilled excitement. Unable to help the shy but brilliant smile on her muzzle the young lioness padded up to the large male. "That is wonderful! She has truly smiled on you. Come, I will show you to the pride here. I am sure they will be over joyed." Turning he slipped round the male and stepped onto the path that would lead them back to the pride's main stomping ground.
Blushing suddenly as the rest of her brain caught up she smiled shyly. "I'm Mwanamke Wa'mwezi. But everyone calls me Mwana." Blushing despite her excitement, or perhaps because of it she added. "I'm a new priestess here, the Goddess called to me also."
