Colorful Shadows
Girlie Hero
We never had an "anime channel", just Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, G4 and on rare occasion SciFi Channel. Sometimes we had it OnDemand with Comcast/Xfinity (cable company). I haven't watched any anime on tv for a long while. We usually torrent it or youtube. To find new animes we browse the media store and Google. When I was in college, we had a "club" where we watched anime every wednesday night for about three hours. Online I usually do an Image search and check out anything that catches my interest or I go to Gendou.com and look around (can't link-- it's not a pay site but it has a "donate" option and it could still violate ToS). If you check out the Episodes link in there, it'll redirect you to AnimeSheep.com but it essentially is the same site. You'll have to register to use it, but you're still able to browse. They don't have alot to download off, but if you browse the music, they have like 300 pages to browse. Talking to people is the best way to find new stuff, really.
Serious?
The channels I watch are "funimation".
We would be able to get Funiamtion OnDemand, but it costs an extra $80 a month because it's in a different channel package. I haven't seen anime on SciFi since they were bought and changed to SyFy (which was a stupid move, though I get why they did it, still it was stupid). Yeah, Comcast screws us with a laddle with channel packages. To get any of the actual anime-and-that's-all-they-play channels, we'd have to drop our HD packege and buy their standard def with the anime channels for the same about of money, and I'm not paying $150 a month for standard def, anime or not, to watch on a 3DLED I'm still paying for
scream ...the satellite providers aren't any better. I wish AT&T could have gotten their cable network into Tennessee
crying CN/AS isn't bad. They just haven't shown anything that I liked to watch for a good bit either as far as anime runs. Our TV used to be glued to that channel until Naruto came out in dub. But we liked the show where the kid tries to make an original Japanese bread (I can't remember the name of it), ROD, Wolf's Rain, Cowboy Bebop, and a whole bunch more. But we aren't into Bleach, One Piece, Deathnote, or any of the other ones that come on now. We just hook the tower up to the TV and watch anime off the internet/torrent now.
