Today was the first day in a long while Kieran felt absolutely at peace with the universe. Not only was everything going right, but he knew today would be perfect, after all they had waited long enough. Two litters of kittens later, Kieran and Percy were finally getting married. The Siberian looked over himself again, his new suit looking as immaculate as it once did so long ago the tails flung over the stool he was sitting on, his long red hair combed and braided down his back, a few loose strands falling onto his forehead and curling accordingly. Aidan was pinning the white orchid to his lapel. All was wonderful.
Kieran’s twin smiled and shook his head. “You have more guts than I do. Though I suppose after this I may hate you, Hikari is going to be next on this marriage idea.”
“I proposed to Percy, not the other way around Aidan.” Kieran shook his head, the scar on his neck nearly healed, and his old smile plastered on his face no matter what his brother thought of marriage.
“Hence the part about you having more guts than me.” Both brothers laughed and shook their heads at the same time.
Ishtar stood in the back ground, his duel colored hair pulled back into a pony tail in his very best clothing. Listening to his father and uncle talk was a bit ridiculous, where was his siblings? Yet part of him couldn’t help but be happy, his biological parents were –finally- getting married. The cat tapped his foot impatiently, where were his other brothers? They were late, and that was irritating. No one save for his immediate superiors in the anbu would dare to be late to something like this. Ishtar stole a look over at Kieran, he looked so damn happy. Ishtar knew that he would be that happy when he finally walked down the aisle with Marrie. The young cat buttoned up his jacket and adjusted his boutonniere, he was immaculate as usual. Finishing everything he could do Ishtar turned to face his father. His thoughts were filled with all of the possibilities of this going wrong, after all with so many cats… there would be at the very least drama, and hoped that Kieran wouldn’t be too crushed.
