((will fix this cert when i get the one with her name on it)) Freedom! A day to explore and see what the outside world had to offer with out her parents watching her. They'd been too busy with her siblings to keep an eye on her. She'd easily slipped away to frolic and play and find out what else she could do. She looked a bit awkward though with her wobbly gait as she went along, nearly falling end over end here and there as she went. She couldn't help but to giggle as she stopped and looked at a turned over rock, eying it carefully. what was it?

Kelebek was -as usual- chasing butterflies in the fields near her home. Her parents told her never to stray away from their neighbourhood, but she didn't find it fair that Hathi got to go on flying lessons with dad while she was stuck on the ground! She couldn't wait till she grew her own wings... Then she'd show them!
For now, she was content with chasing butterflies. This one was particularly fast! She was biting at the air playfully, following the butterfly when a little filly caught her eye not far from her. A friend! she thought, and abandoned the butterfly to sprint towards her.

The sound of larger hooves sprinting in her direction caught her ear, causing her to stop what she'd been looking at. Not wanting to forsake the rock she'd found, she stood over it watching curiously as the older mare got closer. A wiser filly would have most likely seen this stranger running and high tailed it to safety but her, no she thought she was the bravest of brave. A warrior in her own right like her grandparents and mother before her. She wasn't afraid of anything... or so she thought. As the mare drew closer her body set in a stiff, defiant form and her tailed swished some. "Hello!" She called out, ears perked. Was this stranger friend or foe? In distress? She didn't look in distress. In fact she looked like she could possibly be a new play mate. At this new thought, she charged forward awkwardly, forgetting the rock she's been looking at.

Kelebek approached the little filly quickly, and examined her. She was gorgeous! She had a beautiful sea green mane and a lovely natural toned pelt with rainbow-y markings. She reminded her so much of some distant relatives of hers! Nevermind that! She pushed the thought out of her mind and concentrated on taking her chances on the first little foal she'd found in a while!
"Hi! My name is Kelebek. But you can call me Keli!" she announced in a gentle voice despite her excitement. She was almost jumping up and down, wanting to play! "None of the adults want to play... do you?" She perked her ears.

"Hello, I'm Tian." She beamed some as she looked at the mare. A mare wanted to play? It didn't sound too strange. After all grandpa Albert always played with her and told her stories. "Adults don't play with other adults? Grandpa plays with me all the time!" She giggled some and thought. "Hmm.. Know any interesting games?" This was neat, another adult who liked games like her mother and grandfather did. She could hardly contain her excitement. It really wasn't long before it had burst out and she was giggling running around Keli and weaving under her belly and legs.

Kelebek really enjoyed the little filly's attention. She loved little ones! "Your grandpa sounds cool! I wish my grandpa was like that, but he's kind of a meanie."
She thought back at all the games she played as a kid. She really loved the educational ones her momma and the harpies at the Flock had taught her, but her all-time favorite was tag because of the lack of thinking required and the high dosage of adrenaline she got from it. But, she wanted Tian to choose what to do.
"You pick! We can play anything you like. I haven't played much recently, so you should teach me something awesome and new." she smiled kindly. She was really enjoying this meet! She was surprised the girl was so open to her. When she was a filly, her momma told her never to talk to strangers. But strangers were so fun!

She stopped running around some to think. Her favorite game was one she'd made up from the stories her grandfather usually told. Great big lizards who breathed fire he called dragons. Surely they must have been myth but that was half the fun right? "We could play make believe!" She peeked out from between the mare's front legs and looked up at her. "Grandpa and I usually play make believe.. and my siblings and I like to have pushing contests to see who's stronger!" Trotting out from under Keli, she turned around and faced her a few feet away. "I'll be prot and you can choose who you want to be." She grinned wide.

"Ooh, that sounds fun!" she exclaimed. She'd never played anything like it, so she wasn't quite sure what to do. "So I can be anything I want to be?" she thought long and hard about what she wanted to be, and new almost instantly! She loved butterflies more than anything else, and knew that one day she's have wings just like a butterfly!
"I want to be a butterfly!" she told Tian. She readied herself for what was to come, smiling with joy. "So, now what?"

"A butterfly?" She blinked, wondering how a butterfly and a dragon were supposed to go on a quest. "Well.. I We find a quest and vanquish the evil trog who'd stinging up the lands!" She squealed with glee. This could work, a dragon and it's small friend how peculiar and interesting. "Prot dragon rawr!" She giggles and ran off making funny whooshing noised with her mouth as though she was really swooping over the lands. "Trogs keep killing the plants with their smell! Roar!!!" She looked back over her shoulder to see if Keli was going to join in.

Keli pranced after Tian, bubbling with excitement. She tried her best to be a butterfly, jumping up and down and flinging her head and mane back and forth to simulate flight. She ran after Tian. Maybe she could be her sidekick! 'The dragon and the butterfly!' She could hear the stories being told already! "Die, evil trog! Die!" she chanted as she followed Tian. Then, she stopped in front of a tree, and motioned for Tian to stay silent. She then whispered, "Let's pretend the trog is right there where that tree is, okay?" She crouched low, pretending to be hiding from it before she pounced. She looked over at Tian to join in.

Giggling quietly, she followed in crouching. "Trogs are smelly! Atleast momma says they are... Popa always shakes his head when momma starts in with the stories of knights and dragons, I guess he doesn't get it like momma and grandpa do.." She gave a small frown but leaped out from behind the tree to get the 'trog' any ways. "Back evil trog! you shall not bother this herd again!" Striking a triumphant pose she looked back at her new friend and giggled. "What's your momma like?"

Keli giggled along with Tian's story. "My momma?" Well, she's... not too much fun really! She's really depressed because she was abandoned by her parents." She stopped to ponder that last bit of information. "Well, that's what she says. Maybe she just hasn't seen them in so long she doesn't remember them! Supposedly they were serious troublemakers!" she giggled. She thought that perhaps she might get that quality from her grandparents - being rebellious and causing trouble! That's what she thought... because someone her age couldn't possibly imagine what kinds of calamities her grandparents had caused! "My momma is the sweetest, really. But I wish I knew the rest of my family. My grandma has 4 siblings! Imagine all the people I have never met that I'm related to.." she thought deeply, spacing out somewhat and looking up at the skies.

She nodded some and thought about her father's side. "I don't know my grandparents on my father's side.. He's all spotty.. I get my mane color from him along with my rainbow spots." She gave another giggle " Momma says Papa's name's Sena... But I don't remember his ever speaking about his family...." She pondered this for a moment.
