Date(s): TBD (I'm planning on a week long affair to give everyone a chance. People have good and bad days and not being able to always make it.)
Prizes:-1st place - 300k
----------2nd place - 150k
----------3rd place - 100k
Game Types:.FFA
----------------- Roachsnake
----------------- Phantom Mode (I have new maps! :D)
----------------- Raynor's Party
----------------- Hide & Seek (Haven't tested this yet, found when I searched for phantom.)
----------------- Power Level Overwhelming (Fun game, but 6 players tops.)
Spectators: Immortal Nobody
Sponsors: Immortal Nobody
This will not be a specific event like the 1v1 or 2v2 tournaments. There will be a variety of games with no one being knocked out. Consequently there will be a points system with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners as well as several honorable mentions. What constitutes an honorable mention and what the prizes are will be known only to me and the spectators. I hope that by keeping this classified it influences you to just play normally rather than cheese.
Points awarded per game are as follows:
3 points for 1st place
2 points for 2nd place
1 point for 3rd place
And bonus points which include:
1 point for best effective strategy
1 point for best unit composition (not applicable to all games)
1 point for best hold (i.e. defending from/defeating an assaulting force)
1 point for best scout (not applicable to all games)
1 point for first kill (not applicable to all games)
1 point for best aggressive play
1 point for best defense
1 point for best harass
1 point for best final stand (not always awarded, not applicable to all games)
Rules:
Points will be awarded at the end of each game and added together to create a leaderboard. It is possible to win points from multiple categories in one match. For the purposes of the points system, Phantom Mode will be considered a FFA game since you can't know conclusively who is on your team until they die. Since this leaderboard awards points based on performance as well as winning, a final game will be played between the top three players to determine the final rankings (namely 1st, 2nd and 3rd place). In the event of a tie a FFA match will be held between those tied to determine who should pull ahead, with the winner receiving 1 point (this match will be held before the final match but will only be held between people who are tied for 1st, 2nd, 3rd (or 4th if the person in 3rd place is tied with the person below them)).
I will not be participating. My role is to spectate. If anyone else would like to spectate let me know. 2+ sets of eyes are better than 1.
If you would like to help me sponsor this that'd be cool. I can afford this myself but I can only afford so much. More sponsors of course means larger cash prizes so any contribution would be greatly appreciated and I will adjust the prizes accordingly. I think I have this completely hammered out but if anyone has any suggestions please post them below. 3nodding
Note: The title is not me being conceited. I figure adding to the title that this is being sponsored with cash prizes by a known username then this wont be written off as "just another guild event".

Any sort of Starcraft 2 game is fun to me!
I also like how you'll be awarding points for playstyle and events in games.
I'll def play anything as long as I'm not at work (or school in two weeks).

I've revealed what I'm thinking of with a partial game list. I'm still looking for more new games. If you've got any ideas for other games or a reason why a game I've listed wont work please speak up. Critter demands it. 3nodding

I thought about team games but I'd have to reevaluate the points system. We can still do it but there'd have to be some tweaking with the way points are assigned.
I'm against 1v1 since it doesn't mesh with the points concept at all. That, and what are the rest gonna do, sit there and watch? No, this is supposed to be a group activity.
