Adventure was waiting for her, she could just smell it. Her little tail gave a flick behind her, her ears swiveling on her head. Exploring and the sense of adventure always made her excited. She liked the rush of not knowing what might come, or who'd she met in the long run, or what she might find out. Little Lilith was a bit of a sucker for knowledge, and meeting strangers. The filly began to hum as her eyes scanned the area looking for something interesting. All she saw was nothing but green, but she knew sooner or later she would have to run into something or someone. Many lived in these woods, creatures big and small. Continuing to trot through the forest, she pursued the nearing adventure.

Finally, finally she could go exploring on her own! Usually, Adeline had to play with her two brothers. One of them played like a typical boy, but the other was fun and silly like her. Still, they were boys, and Adeline needed some time to herself occasionally. It wasn't always easy being the youngest girl in a very stallion-heavy family. The only one she had to talk to about girly things was her mother, and sometimes Adeline wondered if she remembered what it was like to be young!
The filly wandered around the forest, looking around for something to do. She came to a log and happily jumped on top of it. Giggling, she pranced across the log and hopped off the other side. It wasn't an adventure, but it was kind of fun. Pausing, she turned around and went across the log a second time and almost slipped, which made her giggle even more. She was so clumsy!

The sound of giggles reached the young filly's ears. Deciding to investigate the source Lilith followed her ears until she came upon Adeline jumping on to a log and then off of it again. After watching for a few moments Lilith trotted up to the other. Wondering how much fun jumping on this log really was she jumped up next to the other. "Hello!" she greeted, almost losing her own balance on the log, but used her tail to keep herself from falling off of it.

Suddenly, Lilith jumped up on the log in front of her, making her trip backwards with a giggle. The wood was slippery under her hoofs.
"Oh hello!" She gave Lilith a wide smile, delighted to see another filly out here in the forest. "Nice to meet you! I'm Adeline," she exclaimed, letting herself slip off the side of the log. "I was just looking for something to do."
She pranced around Lilith, looking her over. "Wow, you're pretty! Wanna come play? It's funner with more people," she finished, with a quick nod.

"You have pretty colors too!" She complemented back. "I'm Lilith" She introduced herself as she jumped off the log so she was now next to Adeline. "Want to go exploring with me?" Lilith questioned the other filly. "I'm currently trying to search for what I am."

"Search... for what you are? Well you're a filly of course!" Adeline replied, misunderstanding Lilith. "You aren't a frog or a butterfly or something. Though it might be neat to be a frog..." She trailed off, thinking of froggy things for a moment, before her mind went back to the conversation.
"Sure, exploring sounds like fun," Adeline agreed, nodding her head. "Where should we go?" She tilted her head, wondering if Lilith had a plan. Adeline wasn't much for plans. She just did what she did when she wanted to. Unless her mother forbade it, of course.

"Well I have a different tail then you do," She replied and then swished to tail to prove her point. It was longer then the other filly's. "And my hooves are different too. Mama has wings but I don't, so it makes me wonder what father was."
There was a pause as she thought of Adeline's question on where they should go. "Well anywhere I suppose. I have no particular place in mind to explore. Is there any place you've heard of that would be interesting to explore?" she inquired.

Adeline looked at Lilith more closely as she pointed out each of her special features. "I've... never seen anyone with hooves or a tail like yours," she admitted. "And wings? I've never heard of someone with wings... That seems a little odd, doesn't it?" The filly tilted her head to the side again, then gasped when she realized what she had said. Oh, but that's not a bad thing!"
Eager to make up for her mistake, Adeline focused again on exploring. "Well, I heard my momma say that there is a waterfall somewhere around here... I don't know what that is, but it might be fun to see? And if it's boring, well... we could go for a swim or watch the fish or something." She giggled once again, then suddenly bounded forward. "I think it's this way if you want to come?"

"I see," Lilith murmured had hoping that the other foal might have seen another like her. It was a bit of a disappointment but she got over it quickly as Adeline said something about a water fall.
"I would love to come to explore it. Maybe the water fall has some sort of secret we can discover about it!" Lilith shouted excitedly. Lilith followed bouncing on her hooves as she went along. When she moved she began to hum a bit

"Yeah, perhaps there's hidden treasure or something," the bright green filly said with a grin. She liked to imagine making an amazing discovery like that. Her mother would be so proud. And her brothers would be fuming with jealousy...
"This way, this way!" Adeline encouraged, scurrying down a small path that cut through the trees. The slope began to sharpen, but that did not slow Adeline down. "Momma says that it's down here somewhere... We just have to be careful not to trip on anything on the way down," she explained, smiling brightly. "Just watch out from rocks and roots and stuff."

"If we find any treasure you can keep it," Lilith told her new found friend. "All I need is the adventure!" Adventure was enough for her. Lilith followed Adeline, carefully moving as the other filly warned. "If we don't find any treasure what do you think we'll find besides that?" She questioned her friend, wondering what other ideas she might have in mind in finding other then treasure.
