 Braoin closed his eyes, breathing in the salty smell of the ocean. He could feel water droplets hitting his face every time the waves crashed against the rocky cliff and hear the gulls as they soared overhead. Very slowly he opened his eyes, taking in one of the most beautiful sights ever seen by his own eyes. Colors so warm, contrasting the cool tones caused failing light of the setting sun, splayed across the sky. It was almost as if someone had hand painted the colors on the clouds.
The wind, strong yet not overwhelming, was causing large swells on the sea in front of him. Braoin watched as the water reached up at him from below. This was the only place he felt calm... the only place he felt he belonged.

In the same cliff on which braoin was standing in fact right under his hooves there was a small cave. Just large enough for maybe two adult soq to fit into if they stood very close this was Reii's secret hideout set from the tepee when she just needed time to be alone. So Reii hearing hoofbeats over head just barely above the rumbling of the waves striking the solid stone stired from her slumber. Sleepily she lifted her head from under her folded wing and looked up as if she could see through the stone.
Blake wouldent dare come this close to the ocean due to her fear of anything water related and Thesh-ah wouldent come this far from the tepee for fear of leaving poet (their two legger) unprotected.
"I wonder who that can be?" she mused aloud with a yawn.
She gave her long braided mane (she kept it braided because she hated managing it and yet refused to cut it at the same time) a shake and backed out of the cave she free fell for a few feet before opening her wings, catching an updraft. It carried her up and up untill she was floating in mid air before him so close they almost touched noses. she examined him only squinting her eyes a little he was a Kirin? Or at least part Kirin she thought.
"hi can I help you?" she asked cheerfully.
((she has kinda poor eye sight . . .okay really poor eyesight So it seems like she dosent know what personal space is but really she just can't see you unless she's really close and she doesn't even realize she's that close.))

Frighten by the sudden appearance of the flying mare, Braoin quickly backed up. Clumsily he tripped over his back legs and fell onto the hard ground. Staring up at her he scrambled back up to his feet, blushing from the embarrassment. Be cool, Braoin... be cool.
Letting the heat from his cheeks fade, he attempted the most charming smile he could: a lazy, lopsided grin. "Well hi there! I am not requiring of anything but knowing your name would be nice." His eyes trailed her path along the sky. He couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy at her flight. Braoin had always wondered how it would feel to fly above the surface of the ocean.
"I'm sorry if i disturbed you! I was just enjoying the beautiful view" He called up to her.

When he fell back he fell out of her vision and became a just a large black/blue blob with a voice and a rather suave smile. With her own cheerful grin She scrunched her eyes trying to see him once more then Folded her wings she dropped to the ground with a whump and moved toward him to try to get him back in a clear line of sight.
"No disturbance I assure you I was just curious. Names Reii Yuki call me Reii for short." she replied tilting her head to the side then looking back over her shoulder at the ocean. Even with her bad vision the ocean looked amazing if anything it looked even more amazing with the blur giving it something liken to artist strokes in a ocean painting.
"it is beautiful isn't it. Always makes me feel better." she sighed then looked back at him.
Blowing her bangs out of her eyes with an upward breath gave her long braided tail a shake "what's you name?" she asked.

Braoin watched as the mare squinted her eyes. Hmm.. was something wrong with her eyesight? When she finally landed on the ground, he walked close to her, just trying to help her see him better.
"Reii, that is a very pretty name for a very pretty mare." He wiggled his eyebrows at her, trying to act like a cool stallion. Looking out along the water with her he couldn't help but sigh contently as well.
"Yes it is. I find that it is even more beautiful just before a storm. That's why i just wanted to come up here to get the best view of all." Braoin look back at her. Not many would ever stop to talk with him or be civil... this was a nice change. "The name's Braoin. Adventure extraordinaire!" He chuckled at his stupid little tittle he used every now and then.
"So do you, eh, live around here?" Gosh he was horrible with conversations.

Reii laughed with a slight snort at the end "me pretty?" then looked away embrassed "don't be silly." she added crossing one of her front legs infront of the other In a shy manner. For a moment she was quiet "my tepee is actually just over that hill but my cave is just over here!" She said excitedly trotting up too and over the edge of the cliff.
"whoa!" she exclaimed as she fell over the edge dissapearing out of sight.
Quickly she spread her wings and caught another updraft upward.
"goodness that stupid ledge sneaks up on me everytime." about as she couldent see him anymore.
"goodness ware did you go?!?!" she exclaimed spinning about had he fallen off as well.

"Ofcourse, YOU pretty," he chuckled at her. Watching her shy mannerisms, he couldn't help but smile. It was cute really. He listened to her excited explanation of where she is, then watched in a shocked horror as she went right over the cliff. Braoin quickly ran up to the edge, skidding to a stop just before he went off as well.
He watched in relief as she flew back up. Humor washed back over him as she tried to find him. Man her eyesight really is horrible. "Over here!" he called out to her. "You know, your really lucky you are equipped with those wings. That could've ended badly!"

She herd him behind her and looked down to see what he had ment indeed for a non winged soq. It would have been a probably fatal fall.
"yea sometimes their pretty handy but most of they time they cause more incidents than they solve." she commented then whiped about as she had been faceing the entierly wrong ditection. Of course in her rush to do so she accidently whipped him in the face with her long braided tail.
"see just like that oh goodness im so sorry!" she exclaimed. Landing promptly (of course once again ignoring personal space) to avoid doing that again.If she would have been able show the red her face had turned it would have indeed been a quite embrassing shade.
Sometimes she thought her only Worldly luck was not that she had wings but rather that her coat was so dark it never gave away a blush.
"I didn't hurt you did I?!!" she asked tilting her head to one side.

He nodded and peered over the edge of the cliff as well. "I'm very jealous, you see I've always wanted..." Braoin was cut short by her long braid smacking him in the face. He had a stupid look plastered on as he finally finished, "wings."
Shaking his head to rid himself of the slight stinging sensation, he quickly threw on another smile for her. "No worries! That's not the first time I've had that happen and probably not the last."
Braoin didn't mind the closeness at all, he actually thought it was quite cute really. He snorted at her question, "Of course not, it would take a lot more than that to hurt me." Trying to reassure her.
"Is there something wrong with your eyesight?" He couldn't help but ask. In a humorous gesture, Braoin got really close and had his eye close to her, acting like he was looking for something wrong.

For a moment with her milk blue eyes she examined his eyes examining hers they were such a sapphire shade of blue they nearly startled her.
"Well your certainly a lot stronger than I am if i had gotten hit like that id be in tears right now." she said honestly she then because he was so close to her pressed her muzzle to ware she had hit him giving it a light kiss. to her it wasn't flirtatious thing just something she would do to anyone who was hurt.
"there see all better." Innocence gleamed in her bright eyes as she continued as if it were nothing.
She smiled in a way that made her nose wrinkle at his question
"There was something wrong i couldn't see hardly anything but my human poet gave me Some herbs and stuff that fixed it now i ca see shapes and colors and faces and everything . .why do you ask?" she said sounding a tad concerned.

He struck a pose similar to that of a valiant Knight Horse. "I find that hard to believe! It felt as if a fly had assaulted me I assure you." Braoin blushed immensely after she kissed his face. He certainly wasn't expecting the gesture, but it definitely wasn't unwelcome. Smiling to himself he looked down as a foreign sensation took over. Shy... She turned me shy...
"Y...ye...yes it i is." He stuttered. He was always so smooth with his speech too. What the spirits is going on?
"Oh spirits that sounds terrible. I'm glad she fixed it for you then." He was taken aback by her question. He hoped he hadn't worried her with his question, he certainty hadn't meant anything by it. "I only wondered because it seems like you've been having trouble with it. Nothing wrong by it! In fact i find it adorable." He wiggled his eyebrows again. There you go Braoin, you got it back.

They we so close when he bushed she could feel the heat radiate off his skin for a moment. which she took entirely the wrong way . . .
oh goodness i seem to have made him angry . . .Blake did say some soq don't like to be touched i must be more careful she thought taking a step back so as not to anger him any further by leeting herself do something so foolish again.
"oh." she laughed " ummm why thank you . . ." she was kind of unsure how poor eye sight could be counted as adorable but she would go with it. it was nice to be complimented.
"i find your twitch quite adorable as well. she said gesturing toward his eyebrows which she had noted twitched quite often.
she smiled happily "its nothing serious probably just a small vitamin diffenciancy.i could take you to meet poet i bet if you liked she could fix it."

Braoin watched as she backed up. Had he offended her? Maybe I'm being to forward with my actions. I don't want to scare her away. He plastered a comforting smile across his face so he wouldn't frighten her.
"Your quite welcome." He couldn't help but laugh a bit at her statement. "Well, its not a twitch. It's just a habit of mine..." Braoin trailed off, not wanting to give away his studly secrets. "Thats a very kind offer though, thankyou."
Suddenly, A rather large wave hit the rocks and sprayed them with sea foam. Braoin laughed and tossed his head. "I LOVE THE SEA!"

"Oh as do i" she exclaimed shaking to get some of the sea foam out of her hair and off of her sleek coat.
"being the case Why are we still standing up her then! Want to go for a swim with me?" she added jumping up into the air to exaggerate the point.
