Rosiotti's swagger was in full swing and his ego bigger than a pregnant mare's belly after gorging herself on sugar cubes. Not only had he found a couple of mares who appreciated his flirting, but he had found one that actually had an interest in him. One that would fawn over him and follow him in a lovesick stupor. More importantly, one that was so very pleasing to look at. And that was enough to convince him that he could win over the heart of any mare he wanted. All he had to do was be patient and persistent. After all, they could only resist the allure of such a fine specimen of the Soquili species for but so long.
And, as if to flaunt his newly inflated ego, he sauntered his way through an open field, head held high and a rather showy hitch in his gait. He was putting on a show for an invisible audience. Unless the squirrels counted. But he wasn't trying to impress squirrels. He was trying to impress mares. Now, if only there was one around to admire his radiance....That would make this scene perfect.

It was midday and the sun lit everything it could up. The bright green leaves on the trees and the well lit blades of grass danced slowly with the wind. The leaves chattered softly amongst themselves as they watched all soquili and creatures around them as parents would their foals. It was the perfect day for anyone to enjoy, except the small unikalona mare that lurked in the shadows of the trees.
Morana let a low growl rumble in her chest as her pure white orbs struggled to adjust to the light. Her eyes squinted slightly, giving her a dark appearance on her face. The mare had been awoken by a nightmare, one about her sire. She wondered if he would ever leave her be. Her thoughts were cut short when she noticed something in the distance walking in a strange way as though it were hurt. The small mare smirked as she licked her maw, "Easy prey." Her orbs traced the stallion's movements as she stayed hidden among the shadows of the trees. She waited and waited, hoping for the creature to come a little closer, just so she could have a little taste.
