Personality: Chusi is... not all there upstairs. Actually, no, we should probably just scrap that last sentence and point out the ghoul is simply a nutcase. Her parents are worried that perhaps a portion of her brain rotted away over time, or that perhaps the fact she er... died under unknown circumstances, traumatized her into insanity. That, or she simply enjoys playing the insanity card whenever possible. It's honestly hard to figure out what, exactly, is wrong with Chusi, seeing as how she can range from disturbed, maniacal laughter, to rather witty, strange little observations when people aren't paying that much attention.
Her random spazzy outburts make her annoying to some, but probably entertaining to others. If one thing is clear, it's that this ghoul doesn't like to be bored and if there's nothing of interest to be done... she'll make her own fun. Unfortunately, what she deems to be fun might not be seen as such by her 'victims'. What do you mean you don't enjoy having green hair? It makes you look interesting! Also, she didn't just totally climb through your dorm window and dye it at night. Nope. That uhm... yeah, that wasn't Chusi. Seriously. ... except it was, and she's probably busy trying to hide her green stained hands behind her back as she offers you the most innocent grin she can muster.
While it's true that most everything is fun and games for her, there are sure fire ways to upset and anger her. One of those ways is to point out the fact she's, in fact, a runt of a basilisk (she's not terribly large, even in her real form, her body being about the size of a horse, tail not included), and that she seems to have lost a few (if not most) of her Basilisk abilities. She will hiss, spit, and posibly clamp her jaws over unsuspecting limbs or tails if she feels the situation calls for it without so much as an ounce of guilt. This is not to say she can't take a joke - in fact, she can! Just be aware that Chusi is a firm believer of the saying "Vengeance is a dish best served cold" and that she'll go out of her way to outdo you. Even if it means the prank cycle might become a never ending prank war. Hey! At least it's something fun/interesting to do!
Chusi also has a rather... unnatural fear of birds, and avian based creatures/monsters. Anything with bird wings or bird features will scare her and send her into a mild freak out. This stems mostly from the fact her older brother Blake has placed some wild tales into her head (He's convinced roosters can kill Basilisks due to old lore). However, Chusi being Chusi, she's sort of misinterpreted that fear from chicken/roosters... to engulf all birds. While she's actually realized that she's undead, and thus can't really be killed in such a way, the fear was anchored so deeply that it's quite irrational. It doesn't keep her from managing class with bird creatures, but she might have a problem if she's assigned to work with one; problems might range from her wanting to run away if the creature so much as looks at her the wrong way, to hissing, to wanting to dig a hole and hide. She can be convinced to befriend an avian, it's just bound to be a long, if not extremely awkward process.
Her status as undead makes things a touch difficult for Chusi. After all, while it's true that she can't really remember her life as a monster before she died... she's quite sure she wasn't prone to losing her right eye back then. It's technically currently lost - she believes it might be under the bed, or posibly back home. She's not sure. Not that it matters, really. She can see just fine without it anyhow, and it's not like her Basilisk 'glare' works now that she's undead anyways. It might be a side effect of Chusi's 'death', or might just be that she was like that from the start, but she's extremely forgetful. Not only that, but she's easily distracted from any given task by shinnies or anything that might catch her eye - even in the midst of battle. On the other hand, this also means that she's not prone to hold a grudge. At all. She might have clamped her jaws over your hand two days ago, but now feels perfectly comfortable sitting by your side to discuss the various ways that cloud over there resembles a dancing werewolf in a tutu. In fact, if she's in a terribly good mood, she might consider wrapping her arms around your neck in order to drool on that book you're reading, whether you invited her to do so or not.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? Chusi er... died. She just honestly can't remember how. Or why. Or what brought her back. She pretty much returned 'home' one day in this state, quite happily announcing she had NO idea where she was, why she was there, or whom those people bumbling around, insisting on calling themselves her 'family' were. Her new state and the fact she seemed to have lost all recollection of her 'previous' life didn't really seem to upset her at all. Her parents, however, where another case alltogether, and after some time, finally came to the determination that maybe school might bring back the ghoul Chusi used to be. Or at least make her insanity slightly more manageable.
FEAR: Venom Spit - Chusi's saliva is slightly poisonous on a normal basis. It's a mild irritant, not nearly as potent as it used to be when she was alive. Through Fear, Chusi is able to increment the strength of her venom, turning it into a substance that burns on contact with skin (it can also eat through clothes, but not armor/stone/etc - or at least... not fast enough to actually manage to cause any harm). She is able to spit her venom out much like a spitting cobra might, or she can bite people. The downside is that... Chusi is extremely easily distr- SQUIRREL!! But no, seriously. Half the time she spits, she missed because something caught her eye, even despite having plenty good aim. The other half, she has to be near the person she wishes to bite in order to do so, and well... while she is undead, she's a bit of a runt. She's also not particularly fast at all.
Natural ability: True form - Chusi's true form is that of a Basilisk. It is lizard like. When her pin is taken away from her, she reverts back to this form.
Poison - While her blood and saliva are not nearly as potent a poison as they were when she was alive, they are still a mild irritant when they come in contact with skin. The sensation doesn't last long at all, and doesn't leave a mark. It can not eat through clothes or any other substance unless she's using her FEAR.
Physical Description:
Eye Colour: I'm debating between Glowy white, with black sclera. Or normal gold eyes.
Hair Colour/Style: Black. She uses it to hide the right part of her face, which isn't in as uhm... great condition as her left. The artist can take some artistic liberty with the design/style/length, so long the hair in question frames the face in a way similar to the ref image.
Skin Colour: Pale, 'normal' skin color. Her arms and tail, however, are the color of her lizard body
Clothing Style/Colours: Ref image is good. HOWEVER. It is not mandatory to follow the ref! I'm happy to give an artist... artistic liberty if they want to design some fun clothes! In fact, feel free to do so!
Extra: Her arms are... slightly lizard-ish, endded in claws. One of them, the right one, is bare bones. Her tail is also present. Her teeth are sharp.

(She's so skinny and lithe... and runty that she can actually walk on her hind legs or on all four - while on hind legs she's clumsier and VERY slow. She's better on all four, obviously)
