Alaster had just finished a session in the training grounds, the repair team was already waiting outside since usually there was alot to to do once someone like him was done "Hey guys, uh sorry might have over did it this time, but hey I didn't blow it up this time heh" He waved to the stunned crew and went on his way, seeing a notice on his databank, a device the organization sued to notify specific members and staff "Another meeting, that's the third one this week, what are they preparing for, a war?" He sighed and shook his head, not really feeling like going to the meeting, but they'd send some to go drag him to it eventually

"Seriously? Another meeting? Whatever it is, I swear I'm not the one responsible... this time..." Kristine sighed to herself, idly stirring the mush of food around on her plate while starring at the notice she had just been handed. With another heaved sigh, she picked up her plate, threw away the mush and made her way to the meeting. One of her hands would occasionally brush along one of her trusted swords along her walk. "Bring on the scum..."

Finally seeing a crowd rushing towards the meeting hall Alaster slipped in and followed along, seeing this definitely wasn't a routine meeting, this was something else "All this for a meeting, hell maybe we are having a war?" He looked around seeing some of the top fighters around, including some that could run circles around him 'Even the pros, what the hell is going on?"
Soon the big screen at the front turned on and a mid age man with countless medals and a serious expression on his face started to speaking "I thank you all for coming today, due to recent activity around the Swarm hive and sudden appearance of new types of the Swarm we can only assume the situation will be getting dire" A screen of a unknown Swarm creature appeared on the screen rotate around like a model "One of the few new types we've encountered, these types have been known to stand up even to the Automonis, exercise with extreme caution when facing these, they have been code named Alpha class, they exhibit parameters and limits far beyond the more common Delta class and even more common Gamma" The screen flickered back to the man and continued with his speech "There are cases of even more powerful Swarm types, but we have yet to seen an epidemic of them, they may very well be the ones that control the lesser Swarm, possibly even connected to Omega itself, some of you may be sent out to find and destroy these entities" "In times such as these we are proud to have such fine soldiers to help keep the peace on the world with ARDI, I thank you all for performing your duty and service for our Earth and wish you all the best of luck, Liberation of Omega" With those last words the screen turned off and the room filled with commotion and chatter
Alaster rubbed his head and tried to take in all the information that had been stuffed into his head "A Swarm that can go up against Automonises, is there even such a thing?" He looked around saw a familiar face and walked over to her "Oh hey Kris, didn't see you here, looks like they're getting desperate huh?"

Kris smiled when she heard Alaster speak to her. She turned and looked at the boy. "Its good to see you haven't blown yourself up yet, Alaster. Heard you really socked it to the training area earlier." She stretched a little and moved around, not being one to sit for extended periods of time unless forced. "Don't know about you, but this meeting's got me pumped for some real action."

"Heh yeah, well I did tell them to make better obstacles, figured they listen by now" He put his hands behind his head and looked up at the ceiling "Yeah, but it's also got me curious, why and how are they evolving like this, we keep cutting the roots but the tree still stands up tall, so to speak?" He looked back down and sat an update on databank "Huh, another one?" He looked down and read the message in his head "They're assigning teams, hey look Kris you're on my team, but who is this guy, some kind of new guy?"
"I prefer captain..." A tall smug and stuck up looking guy stood behind them, the look on his face made anyone think he was only interested in himself "Ah the golden child and the silver knight...how quaint" He closed his eyes and brushed his long blond hair out of his way, his blue eyes had a heartless stare to them "I am Faust Frigus, I'm sure you're both charmed already though" He made a lame chuckle and continued to stare at them coldly

Needless to say, Kris was not too thrilled about the Captain of their little group, but she gave the pompous man the best strained-sweet grin she could manage.
"Charmed to the point of throwing up, ...sir." She busied herself with pulling her hair into its usual side ponytail. "Any reason why they put you in charge? Personally, I think Alaster and I could take the whole lot down ourselves, but I don't want to sound like I'm bragging..."

"Yeah sure, cap'n" He sighed and shook his head "No offense, but you don't seem like the leading type, more like the one being lead" He lowered his gaze and muttered to himself "...and the pampered type..."
"Ah doubt my command already, well I can give you one good reason" He smirked and pointed to the door "Meet at the training grounds in five minutes, if you wish to see why I'm you're captain"

Quirking an eyebrow, the woman shrugged. She turned to Alaster and grinned a bit. "Maybe we could show how much fun we have in destroying things. Perhaps he could learn a thing or two..."

He watched the strange man leave and looked over at Kris, quiet at first 'Something about that guy, just doesn't feel right, we should keep our guard up" He started heading to the training ground, the repair pretty much fainted when they saw him "Um captain's orders eh heh"
Meanwhile Faust had already set the environment of the room, it was a large rocky terrain with with pools of clear crystal water and cloudless skies, perfect for all three armor types to give them a fair chance, unfortunately neither of them would see what trick he had up his sleeve "Both Terra type armors, good, this will be easier than I thought" He grinned and headed into the room, waiting for the two with his hand over the core of the Automonis"

The young woman kept calm as she approached the room Faust had chosen. Taking a deep breath, she brought her right hand from the top of her head down towards her nose, mentally feeling the outline of the nose piece of her helm. She had long since memorized the feel of the armor that would protect her body, and she was ready to fully dawn it again. Her eyes flashed with the readiness to fight as her hand continued down her front and touched the core on her body and activated the armor that had gotten her the name 'Golden Child'.

Alaster slammed his glove against the core of the chestguard, the metal frame slowly expanding and covering his body until it was completely covered and the metal knight stood in his place "Alright cap'n, we're here, come out and fight" He released the blades from behind his armored back and spun them around with confidence, Giga the Twin Blade was active and ready for the fight
"Good you're already ready, maybe you're not as hopeless as I thought" He jumped down from the peak of the mountain and pushed the crimson core in his own chestguard, a crimson colored metal slowly encasing him and reflecting a model similar to Alaster, with minor changes due to their difference in height "You're both Terra types so I see it only fair to start on land" He released twin spears from his armor and dug the into the ground before it crashed, being held up from the like poles "Shall we begin then, I can already tell you house this will end though"

Kris took a readied stance and kept her eyes on Faust, but her head slightly tilted to one side.
"Oh really now? Well, Captain... how about you put your money where your mouth is..."
She drew her two blades and gave them some meaningful warm up swings.

"So can I, it ends with you lying unconscious on the floor" He tightened his grip on his blades, feeling like something was off about this guy's Automonis "What do you mean start on land, each Automonis is made for a specific terrain"
"Ah so clueless as I expected" He chuckled under his echo like tone from his armor "You'll learn soon enough, if you can last that long" He dug his spears out of the ground and spun them around rapidly. When they stopped spinning they were already jutting out and thrusting through the air towards the two, the force behind them to heavy it was making the ground split behind them

Behind the visor of her helm, Kris's eyes narrowed as she took a few cautious steps away from the swinging weapons that had begun to advance on her and Alaster.
"He's probably something other then Terra..." she hissed to the boy next to her. Whatever this man was, he plainly wasn't going to give her or Alaster the chance to figure out... until it was possibly too late. Taking a deep breath, she crossed her blades and took a defensive stance.

"His armor doesn't look like a different type, but I do feel like something's off..." He dropped one blade and summoned his shield, cushioning the blow from the spear's tip, but he still went sliding backwards a few miles "Never going to win this on the defense, Kris flank him while I distract him" He used his databank to act like a commlink between them, knowing his opponent couldn't hear them "Even with your kind of power its still not enough to take on both of us"
"Oh I beg to differ, especially if you two are going to cower like children all day" He smirked under his mask and stopped the barrage of spear thrusts, slowly merging the two into one long polearm and holding it with both hands "Come now, if you're not going to fight back why did you even bother coming here" He saw Alaster readying for his own charge, already firing the pulse lasers from Giga's gauntlets to keep him busy "That's more like it"
