Personalize Your Profile
One thing people can often do is show how creative they can be in thier personalized profile pages. They tell a small bit about themselves, show off their friends, and their profile page basically describes who they are on Gaia.______________________________________________
Welcome to your Profile!
The profile pages are pretty self explanitory, but I'll make it even easier just for a lost little newb's sake.Go to the top 3 tabs of your page and click on the one that says MY GAIA, then click on the smaller link that says 'My page'...
Upon entering, Rina (The owner of the flowershoppe in Barton Town) will guide you through it all...
Account
The first page (In order from top to bottom of the original list) will be all about your account status. The entire page consists of your accounts personal information. ________
Here you can tamper with wether or not to let anyone see your online status. You can have only your friends see if your online, the whole community, or no one.
You can also choose wether or not you want to have word filtering (This will remove all of those nasty words that no one wants to hear...).
You can also lock your home (should you own one in Towns). You can let only friends in, no one, or even everyone! Your choice...

Never share information such as your password or e-mail address too anyone!
Registration Information

Here you can change your name, birthday, gender (of your avatar), and time zone so that all of Gaia's clocks will match your clock where you live!
Note: you can only change your username and gender 2 times each before you will have to begin to pay for these changes.
Note 2: I blurred out my timezone for my own choices, don't ask why.
Mail
This page will let you alter your Privite Message Box...________
You can choose who to recieve your pm's from (Friends, Everyone, No one)And you can choose to be warned if a new message is recieved, this way you won't miss a beat!

About
The 'About' section in your profile is simply a place where you can tell a small bit about you, your friends, your life, pretty much anything you want! Make it creative!Details
This page is just too let people know a bit about who you are in reality (it's that place you used to frequent before coming here, reality I mean). You can tell them what state you live in, tell a favorite quote (or make up your own), and list some interests, and even tell ways that others can talk to you other than Gaia (AIM, MSN).
Friends
Using this page, you can choose if you want anyone to see your friendslist. This can be helpful to moderators and admin's since they enjoy their privacy. You can also choose to completely ignore friends requests from strangers (also good for moderators and popular users).
Comments
Only one desition to make on this one! Do you want anyone to be able to post comments in your profile page?
Note: You can delete any comments that you don't like, or simply find pointless later.
Multimedia
If you should want someone to listen to music, watch a small video, or maybe just enjoy a little clip in your profile page, then just post the link directly to a flash player site where it can be played...
Signiture
The signiture is basically like your co-executive for your avatar. If they see your avatar, then they've seen your signiture! You can only make your signiture 255 characters long in the given text box (this includes any bbcode you wish to add to make it look pretty). The rules for having your signiture are as follows:
500 x 500 pixels in dimensions
100,000 bytes in size
If you are not sure if your signiture fit's the requirements, PM ME! I can tell you in 2 seconds flat, I don't mind! Pm me and simply ask if they are within the limit.100,000 bytes in size
Warning: I hold all rules regarding signitures very strictly! If I see anyone with an oversized signiture, I will warn them. Within 24 hours, if it not fixed, then I shall report them to a moderator.
Theme
You may look around Gaia and see all of these users with interesting original looks to their profiles. Guess what? You can have one too! One of the best sites to use when looking for a theme for your profile is here...

And simply look around until you see a sample of a profile that you would like too have in yours! Simply copy all of the text in the text box and paste it into the given text area of your Theme Override. Don't forget too change the Theme from Grunny/Blocks/Classic too 'Custom' (unless the directions say otherwise)...
Wish List
Wish lists are basically your way of telling others what you want, or simply remebering what your favorite items can be for your 'dream avatar'. You can keep tabs on how far along your 'questing' for those items are, and it can even give hints to friends what you might like for the holidays!
Note: You cannot select two tabs at once, I simply did this to show you what some of the options are.
Now all you have to do is push 'Submit'!
