((Moved from PM beginning))Anabis  Berry, still being new from her travels to the lands she currently found herself in, raced around a feild, kicking up the snow from it's resting spot on the ground. Meeting new people was fun and all, but so was playing for the fun of it, and right now she was more intent on playing in the snow, rather then if anyone was around or not. Not that she wouldn't stop to talk if someone showed up, she just wasn't aware of anyone else's presence. darknightcalavier Nicotine hummed softly as he meditated, slightly buried in the snow. His head and parts of his back sticking out of the soft snowy ground. Not really in the world right now or fully aware much. The snow that she kicked up hitting his face, his eyes still clsoed as he meditated.

"Eh? who? what where?" the older male replied, shaking off the snow first before standing up. "Oh hello." he greeted her with a smile. His eyes a creamy milky white, but he wasn't blind though. He had that old feel around him, playful, yet aged, like he was a kid inside. Though he was wise than he looked. Think of your grandpa who wanted to be younger. "Did i startle you or anything?" he asked, tilting his head a bit as he gently used his nuzzle to wipe off some snow he shook off on to her.

Berry shook her head a bit, "No, you didn't startle me. What's your name?" she asked again,, not minding the snow at all. "And what kind of Soquili are you, to have scales like those?" she added, eyeing the scales curiously.

"A kirin is what you call my kin... Nicotine is my name curious one." he replied with a bit of a jolly wheeze at the end. "and you young red one of holly? What is your name?"

Berry tilted her head a bit. "A Kirin.. that's so awesome!" she said, and pranced in place a bit. "My name is Berry," She replied, smiling. "I've just arrived in these lands not long ago. Have you lived here long?" She asked, curious again, "And How come Kirins have scales like those? Do they serve a purpose or are they just there to be seen?" she asked.

"Not every one has answers." the older male chuckled. "I myself don't know. Maybe its how the ones above made us." he mused and smiled to the young one. "That? I myself have just moved in recently."

"Really? Awesome! Wanna explore somewhere?" Berry asked, pawing the ground anxiously, yay for possible new friends! "Or race or something? Hopefully the weather won't suddenly turn bad," she murmured, eyeing the sky. "Snowstorms wouldn't be good for exploring."

"That sounds fun." he replied with a chuckle and smile. "You remind me of many a young foal." he chuckled. "Well....the ones that didn't try to eat you anyway."

"A Foal? Well, I suppose that comes with being an explorer, always something new and intersting to check out. ^^ Know any good places to start exploring?" Berry asked, curious."I mean, a land this big, there's gotta be some interesting spot to look into, right? Hidden Caves, or underground rivers or something?"

The older male nodded with a slight chuckle and nod. "Yes yes. there is an inherent curiosity in you that's child-like." he replied with a smile. "in all honesty, i haven't been around much to find such things."

Berryfrowned for a moment, a little frown, then she smiled again and reared up a bit out of excitment. "Let's fine one then!" she suggested, and started heading North at random. "We'll find something interesting!"

Berry glanced at the male. "Offend? No, It's just harder to find interesting things if one dosn't know where something MIGHT be." she explained, shaking her head a bit and she continued to walk.
"Like... All lands and peoples have their legends - Haunted woods, secret glens, Rivers that vanish into nothingness even though the water keeps flowing. Even if they don't exsist, beings usually know a general direction to go to begin looking for such things. If one dosn't know, there's a greater chance of not finding anything but trees and animal dens." she sighed a bit.
"Which isn't too bad a find in and of themselves, but exploring is more fun when you know that something at least MIGHT be in the direction one's heading, you know?" she asked, and laughed a bit. "Maybe it's silly, but I love finding that kind of odd stuff and seeing it for myself, figuring out why the locals think it's mystical or strange or enchanted, if it even is at all."

"Yes. But isn't it more interesting to find them out firsthand? Why listen to a story when you can experience it first hand or make your own story. Stumbling into the unknown...that's how new lands were found yes yes?" he replied with a smile. Kicking a rock along the way as he followed her.

Berry nodded a bit. "I suppose, but when you don't have a clue where to find something interesting, you could end up going the total opposite direction that the cool thing really is in!" she replied, glancing back south. "Something amazing could be back there that we'll miss going north, you know?"
