Since the fashion club hadn't yet started weekly meetings, and the fact that her school load was still light, Belladonna was taking all her free time to sew. She was almost done with a dress for her darling Kasumi, had been planning a small project for Chuppi and was considering making some sort of wing warmers for her dearest Braum, but after making various scarves for her pets (Halloweentown had taken on a decided chill as of late) Belladonna was realizing she was jack out of fabric! That couldn't be, especially since there were still 3 Corrividuses (or was it Corrividie?) that needed scarves, those two spoons she had weren't popped yet and she would need something warm for them too and just, oh Hecate! So much to do!

It was with a great amount of flourishing and mumbling to herself that Belladonna headed to the maul, hell-bent and determined to return with her arms fit to bursting with fabric and ribbons and needles and thread! She nearly ran to the fabric store and literally threw herself into digging through the ribbons, grabbing anything striped or festooned with skulls and stuffing it into the large basket the store provided her with.

"Ooooh! Braum will LOVE this!" She proclaimed, perhaps too loudly for public decency, as she held up a ribbon decorated with little colored orbs that matched the ones he wore around his waist. My, that was rather loud wasn't it? Her cheeks flushing the slightest bit, Belladonna looked up, hoping no one else from Amityville was there to witness her ridiculous gushing over the boil she was deeply smitten with!

Sin? Done. Kasumi? Done. Lilura? Done. Herself? ...Well...she had nothing to work with anymore. Because of this Junko found herself wandering through the mall again, holding a list in her hand and reading it quietly to herself. Hmmm, so she needed a few yards of that, a few of this, more thread...she needed a lot of stuff! She was happily stuffing Herself silly, still making up for the lack of food from that ridiculous school trip to the JOYfilled Christmas Town. Junko hadn't feed Her after they got off the train, and She couldn't feed Herself, and She had hated it. So She was going to make damn sure that it didn't happen again. Junko didn't mind for now as long as it kept Her quiet. She needed to get this shopping done, and it'd be nice to get it done in peace.

As she entered the store she heard a proclamation she didn't expect to hear, blinking and looking around. Braum? Hmm...that voice sounded kind of familiar! Junko walked around a tall display to peek around it quietly, blinking a bit when she saw who it was. Oh! Belladonna?

...OH! Belladonna! She'd been wanting to meet her! "Junko. Quit stalking people." She said as She ate, not caring that Her mouth was full as She spoke. Manners? Pfft. Manners were for Junko. Junko blushed and hid away again, pouting back toward Her.

"Shh. Stop that!" Junko hissed quietly to her, frowning. She couldn't meet Belladonna like this! Not with Her stuffing her mouth and being rude! She needed to prepare to meet someone like Belladonna!

The ribbon could only hold her attention for so long and when Belladonna heard two people talking nearby she couldn't help but look. Was that girl talking to herself? That girl looked familiar to the point of-- Dear Hecate that was that girl that Braum talked to after me in Dash Dating and she looks so cute I wondered when we'd meet, I think she's Yaya's friend too!
Of course Belladonna's thought process was one continuous train of thought so that she stuffed the ribbon into the little basket the fabric store provided and skipped over to the kimono bedecked girl.

"Hi! Junko, right? You go to Amityville, don't you?" Belladonna asked, immediately launching into where she knew the girl from in case she couldn't return the sentiment. "Who were you talking to? And do you like to sew?" Oooh, wouldn't that be just too exciting if she sewed too? They could have sewing dates and make little dresses together! She obviously had good taste since her kimono was so precious and-- Dear Hecate! Was her hair... Moving of its own accord?! AND NOT ONLY THAT.

It had... food? In its hair-hands?
Belladonna couldn't help but screw up her face a little and tilt her head to one side as she tried to understand this.

"Um... Your hair... Its, well... Its moving. Were you aware of this??" The idea that Junko's hair was moving because it was a living part of her never crossed the witch's mind. Though she had spent her entire life in Halloweentown, she still sometimes could be insensitive toward others peculiarities. She didn't mean it in an unkind way, merely too curious to think of tact. Hopefully it wouldn't offend Junko, for Belladonna only watched her carefully and with wide eyes, waiting for her to answer.

Of course Belladonna noticed her. Why wouldn't she? Who wouldn't? Sigh. Junko smiled shyly when Belladonna even knew her name, giving her a little wave. Yes, she was Junko and she went to Amityville. "Hello, yes. It's nice to meet you...ah...Belladonna, right?" Junko could pretend she didn't know who this girl was for sure. It would seem less...stalkerish than going 'Hello Belladonna~!' as if she'd known the witch all this time. Junko was honestly excited to meet her, which was why she didn't want to chase her off by accident. Her smile grew a bit when Belladonna asked if she liked to sew, deciding she would just politely ignore the inquiry about who she was talking to. Huh? Talking to? Junko hadn't been talking to anyone! How silly of you, Belladonna. Perhaps you needed to get your head checked because clearly you're imagining things!

"I do! It's what my mother does for a living, so she taught me everything I know! I--uh..." Were Junko any other kind of person she would have given Belladonna a smartass answer. It's a good thing Junko is not that kind of person? Oh, but She was. She definitely was. "Yes, that's--"

"What?! You mean...I...I'm HAIR? OH, DEAR SWEET JACK! WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN? HAVE YOU BEEN LYING TO ME, JUNKO? WHY? WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME I WAS HAIR? All this time!" She began to sob dramatically. "My life is a liiiiie oh Junko whyyyyy!"

Junko groaned and put her hand over her face with a slightly audible slap, dragging her hand down her face and looking apologetically to Belladonna. "I am so sorry...yes...yes I am aware. She does it all the time." What a wonderful first impression. Ugh. She might as well turn around right this second and leave on her own before she was asked to leave for disturbing customers.

Though she had been temporarily distracted from the strange hair movements by the idea of also sewing, and oh! Junko knew her name, how lovely!! They were already fast on the path of friendship and if they shared interests that was even better because they could bond further over that and for a moment Belladonna was fantasizing about having sewing sessions with the girl and designing their own line of clothing that would of course win them both fame through out Halloweentown.
But then a very odd thing happened.
Junko's hair... Whatever, began talking. Actually, it began wailing.

And Belladonna laughed. She did not mean to, but she did and quickly covered her mouth though a smile still broke through.

"Oh Hecate, I am SO SORRY. You're a um... Oh, what do they call them. The girls... With the mouth on the back of the head?" Here she gestured, one hand arching back over her head to point to the back of her head which was slightly obscured by a giant black hat. "You were talking to her! My bad... Sorry, again..." Honestly, she was sorry, but she also was laughing so she wasn't sure how well Junko was currently thinking of the wtich. "I don't mean to laugh, I really do apologize... Its just... Is she always like this?"

Oh that had to be just HILARIOUS! To have another mouth that would say such funny things, like wailing in public or breaking the tension of a possibly awkward first meeting?! Sure Belladonna was missing most of the picture, but it was funny to her in any regard. Vaguely she wondered what having a mouth on the back of her head would be like... Probably nonstop chatter from the witch and absolute silence from the extra mouth. Belladonna didn't usually give many people a chance to speak...

Junko winced a bit when Belladonna began to laugh, a faint blush spreading on her cheeks as she coughed a bit and rubbed at the back of her neck. She wished she wouldn't laugh, this was embarrassing enough as it is. As the witch apologized she gave her a sheepish smile, nodding her head when it seemed the ghoul did know a little about her race. Surprising! Though appreciated. "A futakuchi-onna. Yes, I was talking to Her...telling her to be quiet, actually. But it's kind of useless." She chuckled, twirling a bit of wriggling hair around her finger. Yes, it was indeed useless. At least Belladonna wasn't making fun of her? That did bring Junko a bit of comfort. And her apologies were nice too! They helped.

"If you didn't mean to laugh then you woul--" Junko gasped and quickly clamped both hands over Her mouth to keep Her from being too rude to someone she really wanted to be friends with, blushing even more.

"She can be worse...but yes, She's always like this. I apologize, She's incredibly rude sometimes. But um...I have been wanting to meet you for some time!" Junko admitted even with her hands clamped down on the back of her head. She could be heard making unhappy noises of protest, wrapping hair around Junko's arms and trying to pry her off. "Kasumi told me so much about you! And your dress is just lovely. It's very nice to finally meet you, Belladonna...despite Her."

"Futakuchi-onna..." Belladonna said slowly, trying to form the words as properly and easily as Junko had. Hhmmm. This was a bit harder than Spanish! She silently repeated the word to herself as Junko and Her Extra Mouth spoke, but then She began an insult and Belladonna slapped her hands over her mouth to keep from laughing again. Even though She was being mean, it was just so funny! Though, now Belladonna could see how annoying it could be to have an extra mouth that wasn't very nice (not nearly as nice as Junko was at least!) and could smart off to whoever it wanted. And if she was worse than now, Belladonna actually felt a little sorry for Junko! But it quickly passed when the girl (a futakuchi-onna! A futakuchi-onna! The witch couldn't help but keep saying the word to herself in her mind) bestowed her with a compliment.

"You do know Kasumi! Oh I adore her! I'm so glad you're friends with her too. We should all have a sleep over sometime!" Belladonna couldn't help but smile at the girl. "I have wanted to meet you for some time as well and I hope we can be friends. Her included!" After a suitable pause for the feelings of deep friendship to settle Belladonna gestured toward the store. "So what are you looking for today? And you said... Your mother taught you to sew? Is she a futa.... A futakuchi-onna too?"
PostPosted: Wed Jan 12, 2011 5:02 pm

"Mhm! I know Kasumi and Yaya and Braum..." Though they were the only people Junko could think of having in common with Belladonna. She was glad Belladonna adored her friend though, because there were so many things to adore about the sweet Miss Kasumi! Junko smiled, her eyes widening a little at the suddenly suggestion of a sleepover. Just like that? Really? Wow! She'd had one with Kasumi, and she slept with Yaya often these days...so she was sure a sleepover with all of them would be fun too! "That would be fun! We should do that sometime." Wait...what? Junko looked shocked by this bit of news. Belladonna wanted to meet Junko? For how long?! A...and she wanted to be friends with Her and Junko? But...wh..h..she...really? Wow! She couldn't help the huge smile on her face, giggling helplessly with excitement. Belladonna was so nice! "Really?! Wow! I..I'm honored! I would love to be friends, Belladonna!" Wow, and she didn't even have to try this time! That was amazing!

Oh! Belladonna was asking questions! Right, right. Heh. "I was just looking for some more materials. I'm out of them after making kimonos for Sin, Kasumi and Lilura..I want to make some more for myself now. And yes. My mother is a seamstress by trade, and out of necessity...but yes, she's also a futakuchi-onna. My grandmother is one as well." Though her great-grandmother was not one. Junko had never met anyone past the relation of her grandmother before.

"Why! You just know everyone!" Belladonna chirruped to the girl, bouncing up on her toes in a delighted manner. it was lovely that they knew so many of the same people and already the witch was planning on getting everyone they knew together for a fun little party, or dinner or some sort of social gathering were they could all be friends and have a bit of fun! And then Junko was agreeing that a sleepover would be fun and yes. Yes, this would have to be done very soon! "Then its settled!" Belladonna said, taking the girl's hands into her own, "We are friends. You too... Erm, Miss Extra Mouth. Does She have a name perchance?" That was probably something important to know...

"Kimonos? Like the delightful one you're wearing right now? Did you make this one?" In an instant the witch was upon the girl, having let go of her hands to pull at her skirt to inspect the stitching as well as how it was worn. "The construction is beautiful!" And the colors suited the girl exceptionally well!

Though Belladonna wondered why being a seamstress was a necessity (besides the fact that no one else could ever make as adorable clothing as the seamstress) she quickly ignored it. "Well! I don't mean to interrupt your shopping... But, say... Would you mind if I tagged along? I just need some yarn and I was hoping for some company..." Usually it didn't do for the witch to admit she got lonely more oftener than normal people, but Junko would surely understand and reciprocate the want for company!
PostPosted: Wed Jan 26, 2011 1:09 pm

Junko blushed and chuckled, smiling shyly and shrugging. "Not everyone. We just have a few people in common." She protested half-heartedly. Belladonna sure was excitable! And very sweet. All this excitement just over meeting Junko? No way, that couldn't be it...could it?

Even if it wasn't, it was a nice thought and Junko would keep thinking it.

She was a bit startled by her hands suddenly being grabbed and held, blinking and looking down at them and then up to Belladonna's face again, unable to help the briefest pause her eyes made when they passed over the reaper's...ah...assets. It was purely out of admiration with a dash of envy, really. She'd somehow managed to look good in Sin's dress, but the way she wore her own clothes really hid her figure that she apparently had. Not that Junko didn't know what her own body looked like! Because she did! She just didn't ever think anything of it. "You may call me The Mistress." She answered for Junko in a tone suitable for someone who called themself The Mistress. Indeed, She felt Junko was Her little slave girl and She was indeed the ghoul's mistress.

Junko brightened up considerably at Belladonna's questions about her kimono, smiling and nodding as she let Belladonna physically inspect it. She was clearly proud of her work. "Uh huh! I make all my own clothes. I also made a kimono for Sin, one for Lilura and one for Kasumi. I believe in the human world they call this 'wa-loli' fashion? I like it." At the next compliment her eyes widened. "You think so? Thank you so much! It's so nice to meet someone who also knows how to sew and design! Did you make your outfit as well?" It was fine if she didn't, but she was quite curious!

"Of course you can join me! I'd love that! What're you making with yarn?" Junko did love having company...company aside from Her, of course. She began to walk around now with Belladonna, looking at different fabrics that were catching her eye. She only had so much she could spend, so Junko really had to choose wisely.

"Well that practically everyone!" The witch giggled, thinking this knowing that many people was more than adequate enough reason to be very good friends. And had Belladonna been aware that Junko was currently questioning whether the witch's excitement was over her or not, Belladonna quickly would have put death to the idea of it being for any other reason. Though, she should probably not get so excited just to meet other people, but she couldn't help it! She loved Halloweentown and all its occupants!

Though the witch promptly let go of the girl's hands, she did catch the tiny flicker of her eyes. Huh... How odd. Belladonna usually only distracted boils, not ghouls. Maybe it wasn't anything or maybe! Maybe she just needed a little push of help too! Already Belladonna was planning on what kind of tiny dress she could throw the ghoul in while she curtsied, murmuring a small "Yes, your Mistress" before giving Junko a very conspiratorial wink.

"And ALL your own clothes?! Wooooow." Belladonna was suitably impressed. She didn't even make of her own clothing! Just a few here and there and maybe a dress when she was feeling really inspired! "Sin is the succubus, right? I think I have spell casting with her..." For a moment the girl tugged lightly on the fabric of Junko's skirt, not to be mean but to test the fabric's weight, but was utterly distracted by one of her favorite words... "You know about lolita too!? Oh my goodness! I detest the human world, but oh... That fashion is just too adorable. I'm still trying to convince one of my sisters to go over and get me a skirt or two from their stores." After a moment the witch paused, her eyes wide as she realized what she had just said. As if it weren't bad enough that she wasn't scary, she also liked human fashion!? Before she launched into her defense of making sure it had adequate bats and spiders on whatever her sisters brought back for her, Belladonna waited to see what Junko would say.

"Scarves!" The witch finally said, holding up a roll of bright red yarn. "I like to take my minipets on walks, but sometimes they get cold, so I'm making them scarves. This one is for Drault, he's a lepus who likes to wear eyepatches."
PostPosted: Sat Feb 05, 2011 11:28 pm

Had Belladonna said anything about Junko's minute detour, Junko would have been fairly mortified. She wasn't thinking anything about Belladonna like a boil would! Not in the slightest! She was just...okay, fine. Junko was jealous. She wanted to be like that as well. She smiled with pride as Belladonna seemed impressed by Junko making all her own clothes, a faint blush rising to her cheeks. It was a necessity that became something Junko was fairly passionate about and wanted to do for a living. She couldn't help but chuckle as Belladonna curtsied to Her and agreed to call her The Mistress. Don't encourage her, Bella. Just don't. "Mhm! That Sin! Purple skin, lovely long hair, spikes, wings..." Junko was briefly startled by Belladonna tugging on her skirt, blinking and looking down to see what she was doing. Oh, she was just checking out the skirt. Okay. That was fine. One seamstress to another!

"Humans aren't...so bad...my grandmother used to be one." Junko commented calmly. She felt no offense or anything, she could see what there was to dislike about humans and the human world from the things she had heard, just she couldn't bring herself to completely detest them like Belladonna said she did. Oh! Belladonna had sisters? How neat! Junko smiled. "I'm an only child, but my grandmother will sometimes bring me things from the human world." She smiled at that, not seeming to think anything of Belladonna liking human fashion. She liked how they dressed! Was that so bad? It wasn't as if the art of fashion and sewing originated in Halloween, right?

Geh! Junko jumped a bit, startled by how excitedly Belladonna exclaimed she was here to make scarves. Scarves? Oh! "Like knitting? That sounds fun! I've never knit before. I have a couple minipets myself. Two pygmy foxes." She said proudly. Even if her foxes were a bit...special, Junko loved them dearly.

Yes, Belladonna had seen Sin a number of times. In fact, she had meant to find an excuse to speak with the girl as they seemed very suited for each other and Belladonna wondered if Sin would mind giving her any tips in the sultry department. Cute was something the witch knew up, down and all around, but sexy was another thing completely! But then when Junko mentioned her heritage after Belladonna had thought such awful things about humans, she straightened up and gave the girl a pained look, whether she meant to or not.
"Your grandmother was human?" How as that possible? Wasn't Junko a monster? "How is that possible?" The witch asked, her voice instead shifting to one of great curiosity.

"And knitting isn't all that hard!" The witch said with a wave of her hand. It didn't matter that she wasn't particularly good at it, she was passable and her pets never complained, but she wasn't anything worth mentioning more of. "Would you like to learn? I have a pygmy fox named Veser and he ADORES his scarf! He has really sharp teeth--" Here the witch chomped her teeth to somehow pantomime how sharp her own pet's teeth were, though it was a paltry example. "So I had to make it with this crazy stuff he wouldn't bite on, but I also put a shark tooth pattern on it. Funny, huh?" The witch certainly thought it was and even let out a small giggle as such.

After a careful moment of consideration, the witch turned and took both of Junko's hand into her own. "Would you like to learn to knit? I think I can teach you!" At least she would try!
PostPosted: Sun Feb 27, 2011 7:43 pm

"Our race." Junko said simply, smiling a little. Wasn't particularly one to be proud to be...but it was her race nonetheless. "See...futakuchi-onna start as normal human women, usually. They're wives of misers or poor men who don't eat well, so a second mouth grows in the back of their head and makes their life miserable."

"Ahhh, and what a fine affliction it is." She chuckled darkly. Junko ignored her and continued on.

"My grandmother became one that way...but my mother was born as a futakuchi-onna, and so was I. So...that's the closest to a human experience I've ever gotten. My grandmother tells me about humans a lot, though." That was all there was to their race, really. Human women who became monsters because they ate poorly. Whoo! Exciting. Yeaaaah. Junko was more than ready to drop the subject though, not one to really find much to be proud of in her own race.

Hmm..knitting sounded like it would be fun! Junko smiled again and nodded her head, giggling at Belladonna's representation of her pygmy fox. Haha! "I'd love to learn! It sounds like fun. And the shark tooth pattern sounds very fitting." This would be fun! She was willing to start learning anytime!
