According to tektek's account worth page, I'm worth about 4,280,455.... Since I can't seem to link that exact page of my items and prices, I'll paste that in the second post.
As much as I absolutely love quite a few of my items, I tend to be a useless hoarder with the mentality of, "What if I want to use that item later?!" or, "Maybe I'll get lucky and the price will go up!" (this is mostly the case with the freebie items I've got (Micheal's memory, Coraline, etc) gonk
My question is this: Do I take pictures of my inventory and list it in the exchange, with only a few items I feel I must absolutely keep crossed/blacked out and go to town in order to get enough to invest properly. Do I sell it all? Is it better that I sell things off slowly.... I've kept reading that 1 million is a good place to start really investing, so should I sell things to get that amount? What things should I sell/keep?
What do you guys think?

I'd sell off a couple items and start exchanging/vending with it to make it grow. You should have atleast 1000k to make a steady amount of profit.
It may be too late now but selling off Compass and Colibri to purchase 3-4 Cursed Pumpkins before they open could get you a solid profit in a week or so.

I know I love these items, but if I sell them and the pumpkins are duds, I'm out my cool items *and* that gold. "Safe investments" seem to be an oxymoron crying Thank you for the opinion though. I may pass on the pumpkins, but I'll keep a close watch on them.

eek Wow, okay..
Lots of reading but lemme give my best imput..
I'd sell all your dublicates worth 10K and under, unless its easter items then obvs wait till the holiday season, but Verizon headphones and starmony, yes might be worth something in the long run but Ehhh.. EI's and CI's are better investments so sell those items and hoard those instead.
As for everything 10K and up.. I'd sell everything but the Lucky Horseshoe cause that'll be nice to sell the 15th of march...
See, you have to consider all these items will inflate very slowly, and maybe the exception of the nitemare sash most of these MC's and items won't really inflate quickly..
What you wanna do is sell these slow growers gain enough pure to buy the great investments that'll earn you great amount in the short term, and perhaps buy back some of your favored items with your future profits.
Thats my advice

- I personally wouldn't go to the exchange cause alot of people rip people off, I feel the exchange is best for VERY expensive items with extremely high tax, like high end '04s and up

- I'd sell things off slowly in your shop, maximize profits. These are your assets you don't wanna fall short and loose potential gold.

Honestly? I'd sell almost this entire list if you wanna hoard. The more you have the more you'll make. Thats a golden rule.. So I'd say Sell enough to even have 2m to perhaps profit on the next CI that is soon to be released.. (If it don't suck)
