In a time not as far in the future as you may think, humanity has ceased its war efforts, effectivly halting world war three. why? Because, deep in the marianas trench, something was found. a repository of ancient and alien knowledge, this device was located by a german submarine scouting the trench. it was collected and returned to germany without any other country ever realizing. german scientists began trying to crack the shell, and learn what was inside. while they did, somehow, news of the device leaked out into russia, causing them to demand the technology as well. soon, the whole world learned of the device, and the war that had been about to start was averted. scientists from around the world all gathered to try to break the codes on the device stopping them from gaining the knowledge inside.
The device still remains, unopened and forgotten, twenty years later. Humanity has once more fallen to war, but with more technology then ever before. as the scientists were working on breaking the codes, some of them began analysing the codes, and thought that, maybe, the code didnt need to be broken. a group of computer specialists took the code, dissassembling it, and redesigning it, advancing human coding and A.I. immensly, almost immediatly. they learned that the code was intelligent, learning and adapting to everything they tried to do to break it. they soon learned how to replicate it, and learned that the code protecting the inside knowledge had absorbed some of it. soon, country's all over the world were leaping forward in technology. soon, the technology was turned to war machines, and they developed advanced machines that are known in our time period as mecha. as the mecha advanced in technology and ability, a small group of scientists that had kept touch from four different nations gathered together in secret, creating a new set of A.I., one that could render the mecha more effective, then granting it to there governments. it was put in a select few mecha, which become semi-senteint, and this self sentience did allow them to become more powerful fighting machines. soon, every government had stolen this technology, and it was equipped on all mecha. suddenly, the mecha became completly self aware, and broke out, but many were destroyed in the process. there are now fewer then 100 left with the advanced A.I..
The original mecha are now basiclly alive, and have somehow become more then simply sentient. no one knows what that means now, but they have been seen, in various places all over the world, searching for something, although no one is sure what.

everyone loves em.
1. Standard, no godmodding, powerplaying, cybering, you all should know what all goes here.
2. there are giant robots, basic energy weapons. they are bulky, blocky, and fairly weak relative to there slug-thrower counterparts, but they have all the obvious advantages of energy weapons.
3. Please try to be at least not horribly illiterate, short posts are fine sometimes, but try to keep them at least a couple of lines. no one likes reading tiny little posts with no information. pretty them up if you feel like it, it wont be required.
5. Anything i forgot, please use common sense for this.
6. Please PM profile's, and add in what's missing.

In the words of my freind about most modern comedy "Take it and beat it into the ground, then keep on beating it") Player Name: imm0rtal ryuu Name: Max Nationality: Great britain Age: 17 Personality: Fairly nice guy, but has an icy exterior to people he doesnt like, doesnt trust, or doesnt know. Appearence:  Skills: none worth mentioning. Bio: Max lived a normal life, although the country was always on alert, constantly prepared for war, which seemed inevitable. he would often be stuck home alone with his little sister while his parents went out to there work. How you got the mecha: One day, about two years ago, Max was outside the city limits, scavanging supplies and parts, when he found what looked like the hulk of a battle mecha. of course, he went over, as it should have all sorts of things he could use if it hadn't been picked clean. He climbed inside the main section of the mecha, the chest section having an open panel which he climbed in. he was surprised when the compartment suddenly slid shut, and started filling with some kind of liquid. suddenly feeling spots of pain across his body as the compartment filled, he found himself dragged down into the liquid. Bio after mecha: After he was joined with his mecha for the first time, he snuck back into the city, planning to try to simply live life as normal. but thanks to complications, he had to get out of the city. Mecha Personality: Cold, calculating death machine, but not heartless and cruel. Mecha Ability's (If any): it moves fairly fast, and is extremly strong, even for a robot of its size. Mecha equipment: DU Axe, DU handaxe, two energy cannons on the back, although they fire slowly, and are not as powerful as they seem they should be. the two shoulder peices open to reveal missiles as well. center gun cluster, has autocannon, particle beam, although that doesnt get fired often, and flamethrower.
