"Big brother, I am so egg-cited!" chimed Len. "I can't thank you enough for this!"
"Yea . . . yea . . . "
"No, no, I mean it! It is an egg-travagant gift! I couldn't be happier!"
"Arceus, can ya stop with tha egg puns, Lenny?"
"That's all yolks?"
"Ugh . . . "
Lennyka's birthday had passed and Sorano knew nothing better than to get his lovely sister an egg. For some reason, the passing on of a Fire type, her favorite type, egg onto her seemed to calm that terrible monster welling within her. Even if his kind notion to her was nothing more than fireflies in the belly of the constrained beast, at least there was a sliver of hope to banish that demon within. Len returned to her old self for once and Sorano was glad to say he wasn't terrified of losing Lili, Len or even himself to that darker side.
"So, yer happy . . . 'ight?" he asked.
"Positively egg-static!"
"Jus' be lucky . . . omelettin' ya keep tha' thin' . . . oh Arceus . . . "
"See, now you're doing it!" she giggled "You're eggs-traordinary!"
"Ugh, Len, I need'sa break from them . . . !"
"Haha, come on Sorano . . . you don't have to be so rotten!"
There was but one downside to this: she wouldn't cut it with the egg jokes.

 Monday morning farmers market was always the best for fresh and new produce, right from the farms both from property in the city as well as beautiful fruits and vegetables that people brought in from the mountain base. as well as food though, there were so many other things so see, jewelers, home made candies, clothes, and all sorts of adorable little trinkets and pokemon products. It had been a while since Rosie had been to a farmers market, and she was having a great time! she had met a lot of very kind people, and enjoyed samples of the foods that they made, her pokemon were enjoying the samples as well. Her Pikachu, Kiss Kiss was sitting in a basket that Rosie carried at the crook of her arm, sitting in it were some fruits she had bought from one of the stands, as well as a nice sized green egg, that Kiss Kiss sat nestled against, the Pikachu looking as happy as can be while she munched on a slice of freshly bakes bread.  "Ohh, what do you think of these guys?" The blond girl asked with a bright smile, reaching up to pick up a a bowl of fresh, plump strawberry. Vahy'n took a look at them, sniffing a couple of times before giving a coo of approval. Kiss chimed in, though more excitedly.

Len turned her attention to what seemed to be an open marketplace a short walk from her and her brother. Her eyes grew wide at the scene. Kodo seasons were much different than those in Kanto. Considering how small the island was and the definite tropical weather, what she normally waited months for could grow in just a week. The bright appearance of crisp strawberries followed by melons, cucumbers and even berries not native to the Kanto region set her heart aflutter.
"Big brother, over there!" she cried. "Over there, over there!"
"A'right, a'right!" he laughed. "Le's go, we can pick up somethin' an' take it back to the base."
Len tucked the egg under one arm and grabbed her brother's hand next, skipping as she pulled him along. He only pursed his lips than sighed. He would have preferred the egg puns rather than holding hands.

Rosie Giggled when both of her pokemon voiced approval over the Strawberry, pleased with their taste.
"Okay,I'll get a little extra so we can snack too!" she decided, placing the bowl down and starting to select a couple of baskets of the berries to place into the basket withe everything else, and paying the man who was selling them, giving him a bright smile and thanking him politely.
Once she was finished, she learned forward slightly again, hugging the basket with her, making sure the egg, Kiss Kiss and her purchases would not fall out.
It was then though, that a familiar voice reached the young blond's ears. and Rosie instantly perked up, glancing around with a curious look on her face.
"Huh?" she caught a glimpse of bright hair, she stopped out to get a better view, just to make sure.
YUP! It was him! The man with the Flareon she had met in the park before.
"Mr. Dinkley!" she called out to him, gathering her basket again.
What a pleasant surprise seeing him coming into the city from the mountain, she remembered him quite fondly and was happy to be able to talk to him again.
He had a pretty women with him, one Faleen didn't know, but from the hair color, she must be related somehow.

Mister Dinkley shout out of his sneakers. "Wah!" He wasn't used to having his name called out in public, even with such a polite title. For a man who had turned to be so dedicated at his job at TR, it was a surprise, after all. He turned squinted eyes towards the caller and tilted his head. By Arceus, it was Rosie!
"Oi, 'ey!" he waved while approaching her. " 'Ancy seein' ya 'ere, Rose."
Lennyka trailed after her brother like a newly evolved Togetic. So he did have friends outside the base walls . . . how interesting. Even so, she remained quiet as he talked. She didn't know this girl!

She stopped once she reached the man, smiling up at him, clearly happy to see him.
"It is! such a pleasant surprise! How have you been? is Eevee breeding going well? any new pups?"
She remembered what he had said his profession was before, the idea of baby eevee was soooo cute!
She stopped her questions there though, so excited to see a friend again she was running away with the number of questions she was asking, after a small giggle and holding her hand up to her mouth she apologized
"I'm sorry Sorano, I'm just so surprised to see you here, How are you?"
that was more like it.
glancing past him at the girl that was following after him Rosie offered her a warm smile of greeting.
Kiss Kiss, holding a new strawberry in her mouth, perked her ears up and leaned forward in the basket, propping her paws up on the edges and leaning out to peer at the two people her trainer was talking to curiously.
Vahy'n seemed pleased as well that Sorano was here, walking over to sit beside Rosie and coo up a "Vaaaporeon" in her own way of greeting them.

Len tilted her head at this. Eevee breeding? Had Sorano lied to this sweet girl? Len smiled at this, though her smile appeared to just be a returned notion that the girl gave her. Sorano had lied, hmm? It was a convincing lie, considering he probably had Never with him than.
"Oh, I've been 'kay." he replied, though it was much of a lie. He was still recovering from that dreadful explosion at the Poke Ball. His body was sore as hell still, but he could live. Thank goodness he wasn't half-naked, or his lie would be more apparent with his scar covered torso and legs.
"Me breedin' business 'as been doin' good." he added next. "My sissy 'ere." He nudged behind him with the tip of his thumb. "Lennyka, owns one'a Never's kiddies."
Len blinked. No she didn't . . . ? Sorano twisted his mouth up at her, nudging her with a silent vibration to release the only Pokemon she had that would be convincing enough.
"Oh!" she squeaked than reached a hand into her side pocket. She released her Vaporeon, Nunnally, and smiled.
"This 'poreon be 'is daughter." he said, which caused the Vaporeon to tilt her head. "The splotchyness be unique, as she got all tha' from her momma who was a 'poreon 'erself."

Rosie tilted her head, watching Sorano while he talked, but when he said the name of the girl behind him Rosie looked back to her, her name was Lennyka then? That was a beautiful name, and she seemed like she was definitely family.
"Really? one of his babies?" Rosie had met Never, she loved the Flareon, he had been so sweet, but Rosie had a special place in her hear for Vaporeon, so when an ADORABLE spotted Vaporeon was called out from its ball, Rosie gasped, and knelt down.
"She's beautiful!" The blond smiled at the Vaporeon, holding her hand out to it.
Vahy'n blinked when the Vaporeon came out, but a soft smile soon followed, looking over the markings that would normally not be found on a Vaporeon.
Vahy'n very much appreciated the other water eon's unique look, and she greeted the other with a delicate bow of her head "Va, Vaporeon"

The Vaporeon tilted a head, unsure on how to react to the offered hand. She pressed her head into it though, simply to what she has seen others do in the past. She wasn't much of an affectionate Pokemon, but it should do yes?
"Thank you."
"Thank ya."
Both of the Dinkley siblings replied at the same time, earning a sort of twitched air between them. Sorano wondered ever so slightly if Len could just return to being quiet. Len, on the other hand, wondered ever so slightly if Sorano would just let her talk more!
Nunnally eyed flashed her big, bulbous eyes at Vahy'n, tilting a head at the bow. She returned it in full, just out of mimicry. "Vay." she responded in a loose tone.

Smiling when the two of them when they answered at the same time, finding that very adorable.
She then turned her attention to the girl that was with Sorano.
"Your name is Lennyka right? My name is Rosie" she introduced, holding her hand out to the other girl "Are you related to Sorano?"
When Vahy'n received a greeting,. lifting her head back up and tilting her head softly, before moving her gaze back up to Rosie and the other two humans.

The gesture seemed to alien to such a sunny girl -- Len expected to be pulled into an unfortunate hug instead. However, her hand met the cheerful girl's without hesitation. Twas best not to show she was a suspicious type. Still, though, that Vaporeon of hers was quite the looker. Even though she was more an avid fire type user, she'd love to have something like it instead of her splotchy marked, dull one. Thankfully, the Vaporeon could not read the words currently typed out before so it wasn't phased.
"That is right." remarked Len. "It is a pleasure to meet you Rosie. I am un-, I am Sorano's sister, yes." She withheld the 'unfortunately', though it was quite unfortunate to be related to him.
"You seem to know him, however, do you two go back? Sorano never tells be about his friend." This earned a twitch from Sorano's eyebrow. He tells her everything . . . practically. What a liar. "He is much too constrained by his needy girlfriend." Another twitch. "So I am usually left to my own endeavors, taking care of his many Eevee and evolutions to be sold." That was half the truth, only due to the fact Sorano didn't own all Eevees.

Shaking the other girl's hand, with a smile on her face, Rosie couldn't help but giggle, most at the expression on Sorano's face when Lennyka was talking. She adored the exchange between siblings, it was quite adorable, even if it was meant to embarrass one another.
"Well, its wonderful to meet you Lennyka, and you have a really beautiful name~"
Arms still tucked right under the handle of her basket where Kiss Kiss was sitting and studying with happy noises to the Vaporeon below.
"I met Sorano a while ago in the park. he told me about his Eevee breeding, I'm glad to have bumped into you again though" she spoke this part to Sorano, she really was happy to see him again.
"What brings you down into the City? checking out the farmers market? Or do you have a booth up here for your Eevee?"
Rosie would LOVE to see baby Eevee from Never! that would be SO CUTE!

In all actuality, they were just returning from stealing a certain egg held within Lennyka's hands. They had no idea what was inside of it, but hoped it was at least worth the taking. "Oh thank you." she smiled.
"Oh, no, we were just returning home from lunch." Len added "Sorano took me out to eat for my birthday which had passed. He also got me this wonderful little egg from a local breeder. He says he is not sure what is inside but the breeder said the wait would be worthwhile."
Sorano nodded and placed a hand upon Len's shoulder and squeezed, a basic sign that meant, "If you know what is good for you, you'd just let me talk." She took this as a rather hostile notion and slithered away in a withdraw. Len had to behave today, unfortunately.
"We were also thinkin' 'bout gettin' some vegs and stuffs for din this evein'. I be a lil short on money though, 'cause I bought 'er so 'any thin' fer lunch, so I guess we'd be havin' soup taday 'gain. Aha."

Her mouth opened a little when she heard that it was Len's birthday! A smile broke out before she excitedly wished the older girl a "Happy birthday! its such a nice treat to come to the farmers market!"
Seeing the egg she had Rosie gasped. "Oh really? I got an egg recently from a breeder here to! maybe they came from the same breeder!"
at this she held her basket up, showing the bright green egg within,
"They could be siblings!"
It was unlikely, seeing as they had different color shells, but Rosie always loved to believe things like this.
tilting her head and looking over to Sorano when he spoke again, Rosie then perked up with a sudden idea.
"If you two would like, your invited to come over to my house, I was going to make pastries, We can make a birthday cake for Lynnyka, and then later you can stay for dinner,I can make whatever you would like Len."
but then she realized something, "oh, well, unless you had something else planned, then I that's fine, I just wanted to extend the invitation"
It had been a while since she saw her friend Sorano, it would be nice to catchup with him again, and she loved his sister, she seemed like a quiet, sweet girl, and she was so pretty, her hair looked like it would be fun to play with.

Len forced a terrible giggle. "Maybe they are!" Arceus, it made her sick. In turn, Sorano's frown deepened. She wasn't following command.
With the extended offer of having pastries in her home, Sorano grinned. "Oh, tha' sounds wondaful." he said. There was much more to the smile he offered however. How many times do thieves get an offer into a victim's home? There might be something sweet, instead of pastries, out of this offer after all.
"It wouldn't be a problem." Len added, stealing the very words from Sorano's hefty huff. "You're so sweet! I am sure the cake would be delicious."
