I'm trying to fill an application and I can't seem to do it.
Whenever I reach some kind of personal question (why do you want this position. what are your goals How do you describe yourself ect. ) I draw a blank. And if I think too much I start getting anxious. ( I can write you a term paper in half the given time but one single question like this sends me for a loop)
Then I don't want to answer it because I get scared of putting the wrong thing and getting in trouble...then of course I get in trouble for not answering it.
This has happened before I've sabotaged myself on job applications without even meaning to. (never mind the interviews in which I get so bad I can hardly get 2 words out.)
I really don't know what to do this particular application is very important and i was recommend by a friend so that adds to it because I don't want to let her down. (and she's getting reeeeally sick of me asking her about the questions and explaining them to me so yeah)
I don't know if this is related to Asperger's but i really had no one else to ask and nowhere else to put this.
If you anyone out there has ever had trouble with interviews and applications and has any advice I'd gladly appreciate it.
Also if there are any tips u can give me on anxiety itself (which is kind of a problem in itself) they'd be greatly appreciated as well.

Well I think you should try again and relax this time. Ask someone who has done it before to help you with applications. As for interviews you should ask someone to ask you questions you have asked in a job interview as practice.
