When you pick up the gun and sling it over your shoulder you notice an engraving. Your name, in an elegant script, is lovingly carved into the polished wood the the stock. You mull over it's meaning as you pick up the boxes of ammo. Deciding to first investiagte the brook, you close the closet door and it vanishes. After a few deep breaths your panic subsides. No use worrying about it now, someone will open the closet again, eventually... you hope. Perhaps something will turn up if you investigate the meadow. The brook isn't far away and the sound of the splashing water calms you more. Cold and crisp, the water looks deep, but it's crystal clear. Little silver fish dart in and out of the rocks. Downstream the brook picks up speed and disappears down a hill, you can faintly hear the rushing water. Upstream the brook vanishes into a wood. Suddenly a flock of birds bursts noisily from the trees and flies off quickly.

I was thinking of Deltethnia's idea and overall result was:

1) Someone makes intro 'C.Y.O.A. #1' poll: "You wake up, what do you do?"
2) Options to choose are in poll: "a.go upstairs and borrow car keys b.call your friends c.search the toilet for treasure d.walk out the door nekkid"
3) People vote. (In this example D wins)
4) Anyone can make the next poll at any time, the only catch is they have to continue it using the winning result of the previous poll.
Xtra) I would recommend each new thread contain a link to the beginning and the previous poll.

Example:

cyoa #1
"What do you do?"
a.go upstairs and borrow car keys
b.call your friends

You wake up.

OPTION: If you wanna take the previous thread in a different direction than the popular option go ahead! Use the number and then a, b, c, d, or etc. after to differentiate from the other branch (i.e if you wanted to do a different option than the one I used on poll #3 make one can call it #4a). I haven't continued it because two would be a little hard... I'm saving up to create a guild just for it, with a lot of planning going into it, so it would be more like the books... if I were to do too much here, it would get me confused as to which story to use...
my plan was for something more like...:
thread #1... option one, go to thread #9... option two, go to thread #33... and so on, with everything being all jumbled up, so it would be hard to cheat, and move along... this one seems like fun, though... I'll try to participate a bit more...

I don't get it but it seems fun. xd

Anyone can continue the story at any time by picking the most popular option and using that as a base for the next story part. That person will then put a poll with several options that end their segment and it goes from there.
