Calibor will only make a brief appearance. He'll simply be what pushes Demon into attacking. CX Boy, had Calibor gotten himself into some trouble this time. Still, he was fairly confident he could get away if his legs would just move faster. There were time when he really wished he had wings, then maybe this wouldn't have such a terrible ending. Still, he had thought this would be his biggest heist ever. And it probably would have been, had he not woken the damned beast up. Stupid twig, and he'd been stupid to go into this in the first place. There was also the disadvantage of not knowing the surrounding territory well. He had just bee passing through when he spotted the seemingly, sleeping Kalona and the golden rings on one of his horns. He'd been wise enough to only take one, but stupid enough to take it in the first place. The first thing he should have done when he spotted the Kalona, was turn around and trot in the opposite direction.
But, he'd figured he could handle this. He was a 'Knight' after all, and knew all about defending himself. If he was lucky, this would only lead to a severe beating, but maybe, just maybe, he'd still have the rest of his life before him at the end of the day. He could tell that he was losing this race, bit by bit the Kalona was stalking toward him. He was stumbling now, completely exhausted. He suddenly realized that if he kept on going like this, he'd lose the fight before what was chasing him even caught up.
So, despite every nerve in his body screaming at him to run away, he planted his feet and waited for whatever tidal force of rage was hurling at him.
Danae was working a little ways off, he had just finished helping an old friend, and sent them on their when when he started to hear all the running. He didn't think much of it first, until he glanced around and noticed a lot of the wildlife freaking out. He paused and then a ways off to his right a pale stallion flew past him, and then the other stallion seemed to hesitate and with a pause he turned around. Danae could tell the other stallion was terribly out of breath, and panting so loud you could hear it in the distance between them.
Then, he spotted what he was running from and his heart nearly leaped out of his own chest. What had that pale stallion done to get the attention of that Kalona? Danae knew there was no way this was going to end pleasantly. He took a shakey step forward, wondering if it would be best to interfere now, or if he should wait until the Kalona left to help the other stallion. It's possible that if he waited for the aftermath, he'd be too late to be of any help. It was about time he started to take his job seriously, time to save someone before they just needed help with their wounds.
It was pretty apparent that he wouldn't reach them soon enough to save the other stallion completely, but he hoped he wouldn't be too late. He started to charge forward, he tail whipping behind him, sure he didn't exactly have fangs to bite with, and the Kalona was nearly twice his size (thanks to his mother's flutter genes), but he had his horn and tail to fight with, and maybe he was tiny enough to avoiding a few of his more forward attacks.

To say Demon was annoyed was an understatement. In a rage. Consumed by throughts of destroying the insolent fool would probably be more accurate. Yet he had a problem, Demon was meant to be somewhere.... his sister was expecting him. If it had been anyone else he would have simply blown them off but he had a strange connection to Fathom; it would probably be deemed as 'love' or to the extend that any Kalona could truely love another. That was the only reason his mind wanted to get his ring back, give the theif a good hard kick to teach them a lesson and get out of here. He was probably already late, Gishoni hadn't exactly planned to take a nap but being up for days had finally taken its toll on him. He was so exhausted in fact that had the theif not been foolish enough to wake him he probably would never have discovered he was missing one of his rings for days to come. He growled, the sound rumbled in the greenary around him and vibrated in his throat with such a force that the vein pulsed with an increased beat. With a roar he called forward as his body worked with all its strength to catch the thief. "Give it back!" Many would probably wonder why Demon cared so much about his ring, in truth it wasn't the ring he cared about, it was the fact that something that was HIS had been taken. He never had been good at sharing.... and probably never would. After a tedious run he finally caught up to the thief, assisted by the fact that the stallion had stopped. He growled. "I would advice you give it back now...." He said with a demonic purr he had inherited from his mother, ".....or you will not leave here standing." His eyes narrowed. He was in a rush, but he would not let the other know that. Demon had to appear in complete control. "I will count to three...." And then, he thought, even if you give me my ring back I will beat the crap out of you to teach you a lesson. "One...... two..... three......."

Calibor knew it would only be a matter of time before he got the crap beat out of himself for stealing something seemingly 'precious' form someone seemingly so dangerous. He had no where to go, and now faced the Kalona, only a few feet of distance between them. Way too uncomfortable for Calibor, he was quite visible shaking now. Sure, he'd had a bit of training from his father, but had he ever really expected to need it? Uh...no! He was a thief after all, he didn't plan on getting caught!
"Of course you can have it back..." Calibor tried to keep his voice form shaking, and he was surprised when it only wavered a bit. However, he had no intention of giving it back without a fight, and he knew well enough that even if he did give it back, he'd stick get his butt handed to him by this Kalona. So when the Kalona counted down to three, two things happened quite simultaneously.
The first thing was, Calibor tossing the ring right at the terrifying beast, and the second was the appearance of a much shorter, purple stallions in front of him. But, Calibor didn't pay much attention to what he looked like, he decided to take this as a blessing and run off in the opposite direction. Sure, he could have stayed to help, but if the other stallion really thought he stood enough of a chance against a Kalona to get between one and his revenge, well then Claibor would just be in the way! "Good luck, pal!" He called, although he didn't know the other stallion at all, he made it seem like he did. Honestly, he hoped the poor fellow would survive, and if he did, he hoped he wouldn't run into him again!
Danae was relieved when he dashed between the kalona and his meal in time, he wasn't even out of breath. It must have been the flutter in him, he was light and was always proud of how fast he could run, even if the flutter in him also meant his was shorter then most other stallions. In the kalona's case, it was almost comical, except it would really hurt Danae a lot. "Go pick on someone your own bred!" Danae commented, which was really lame, but he soon realized they probably feel on deaf's ears.
Considering the Kalona had just been pelted in the face by a golden ring, and the stallion that had been behind him, was retreating quickly and suddenly wishing him luck! And he has the guts to refer to him like a friend! Danae tail lashed out behind him, but the tan stallion was too far behind them for it to do any good. So, he focused on the threat before him now.
Did he forget to mention that the Kalona looked about ten times grumpier? Was that even possible? Yes, it was!

Demon saw his ring being tossed his countdown suddenly forgotten, and in that moment all that mattered was retrieving what was his. As it landed with a CLUNK on the ground and rolled between his legs he placed a hoove hard on it to stop its movement before turning his head and forcing it back onto his horn. The motion left a hole in the ground the same shape as his horn. He turned around and growled at the thief to discover that a purple stallion stood in his place. His eyes narrowed, what sort of trick was this... did they not know what creatures wrath they were bring down upon themselves? The way the thief called the purple stallion 'pal' told him that they knew each other.... Demon did not like being baited, did not like being lead into a trap. He would destroy them both for this.
Yet as the purple stallion spoke Demon found himself momentarily confused, if this was a trap why not simply attack him? He didn't have time for this, he was late god damn it! He slammed his hoof into the ground. "Enough games. It is you that has led me here.... so do not claim to have more moral standing than I." He growled again, Demon knew he was not a creature of morals. He would strike from behind, cheat, steal... anything to assure victory, but he never lied about it. The manner in which this purple pelted stallion help himself annoyed Demon.
"I will teach you a lesson," he hissed, slamming his hoof the ground once more and sending a spray of dirt around him. "You do not know whose wrath you have brought down upon yourself. Remember my name... DEMON!" He bellowed the last word as he lunged himself forward, hooves held high ready to strike, teeth bore ready to bite, tail swishing from side to side to malice intent. Although Demon was sure of his victory.... perhaps this meeting was a blessing in disguise? He would use it to test his new skill.
Attack roll: 1- Demon's attack misses, his tail brushing along Danae's side as he landed next to him and skidded before turning to face his opponant once more. (Miss) 2- Demon manages to strikes Danae's side with his hooves as he lands on the ground once more with a thump. (Moderate damage) 3- Demon miscaluclates the speed and position of his opponant, the tip of one of his extended teeth nicking Danea's neck. (Very minor damage) 4- Demon strikes Danea's side and moves his rump to slam it into his side, his tail wrapping around Danea's front legs. Demon stares at his opponant and says, "Now what do you say." before hissing. (Minor-Moderate damage)
