That's right! I'm going to open a mini-thread in the exchange and sell cheap stuff! I'll post the link(s) here!

Rabid Cow Though it seems hard to imagine sometimes, real people are behind the pixelized avatars; they're not just images on your computer screen. Over the internet, people feel like they're safe in their own room - just their computer and their keyboard. They may say and do things that they wouldn't dare to do face to face with someone. But there's that barrier - that sheet of cyberspace that distances people from each other and consequently from each other's feelings, desires, thoughts.
People beg, becoming nearly illiterate and uncomprehensable in their desire to be noticed. It's human nature to crave things that we do not have. The more it's denied, the more they want to have it.
Some people realize that their behavoir may irritate others and they politely ask for donations in their quest thread. However, after time, after all those wasted moments longing for that item, they may become desperate. It's hard to achieve a dream. Many give up and quit, disappointed that despite their hard work, they've failed. And while that may be in fact life, it does not help that there are Gaians who have the funds to donate, and yet refuse.
Even if you don't particularly like the things you own, knowing that someone else wants them usually is enough to make you cling onto them. They hoard, spiriting their gold and items away from prying eyes; it's theirs and theirs alone. And they attempt to cheat people who do not know any better out of their hardwon items and gold. And a lot of times, they succeed. It's easy to take advantage of ignorance.
And then there are a few who look at all their possessions and know that others would appriciate them more - and they try to help others. Why save your food when you're full when there's a starving man next to you?
And now at the end of this very long rant, I conclude by saying I commemorate you for doing this. You're not simply giving the items away - if you did, the recievers may not truly appricate them for what they are - but you're trying to help others. I don't know whether or not any of this is understandable or if my ideas come across clearly, but I just spent a lot of time typing, so it must be posted.

I know of some people who do this sad
But I also know MANY who will give their items away to help those who are in need smile
Being safe and secure in your computer room does not shield you from hurting people's feelings.
