Serene Grace - Serene Grace will double the chance of a move having an additional effect. For example, Psychic will have a 20% chance of lowering the target's Special Defense stat instead of its usual 10% chance, and Rock Smash will always lower an opponent's Defense by 1 level, as opposed to having a 50% chance of doing so. It does not, however, improve the chance of item effects.
Sweet Kiss - Sweet Kiss causes the target to become confused.
Magical Leaf -Magical Leaf inflicts damage and is unaffected by modifications to the Accuracy stat and Evasion stat. It will not hit a Pokémon during the semi-invulnerable turn of moves such as Dig, Fly and Dive.
Fly - On the turn that Fly is selected, the user will fly up high, where the only attacks it cannot avoid are Bide, Swift, and Transform. On the following turn, Fly will inflict damage, PP will be deducted from it, and it will count as the last move used. Once Fly is selected, the user will be unable to switch out unless Fly is disrupted or fully executed.
If Fly is not fully executed, PP will not be deducted from it, and it will not count as the last move used. If the opponent uses Mirror Move during the turn that the user flies up high, Mirror Move will copy the move that the user executed immediately before using Fly (or fail if it cannot).

One thing's for sure, this petite little ball of energy is a handful for his trainer. Though he enjoys making everyone else happy, he loves being happy the most. Flying around, eating up all the sweets that Sammy brings home, the Trainer swears he's actually never met a brighter soul. Masaya seems to be happy all the time, rarely ever getting upset or sad, lest someone he cares for is in a likewise state. Even so, the smile will always be on his face. No one really understands why, but he feels the need to make sure his happiness is perpetuated by everyone else's. What a weird kid...

It seems that Masaya's big thing is seeing people smile. He'll do anything to get a grin out of his friends. Which is why it's good he found Samuel. The boy smiles a lot, which makes the little Togetic extremely happy. He enjoys spending his time around happy people, and has a hard time dealing with depression or sadness. Should anyone else be, he often lands in the same boat, if he is unable to cheer them up. God forbid someone get angry at him either, because the little one is sensitive to that, and seems to pick up on emotion rather easily.

The youngling loves time outdoors, playing with either other Pokemon or his Trainer. He enjoys childish games, like tag and catch, so being able to get out and about is a big must. He also enjoys cooking, but Masaya is a bit accident prone. Samuel refuses to let the Pokemon near knives or fire, often only letting him fix cold dishes, and occasionally sweets, if the younger watches him closely first. The Togetic is also prone to tripping and falling, though his wings help keep him balanced.

Sammy was a blessing in disguise for Masaya. The younger had been looking for a pure heart to bond with for quite some time, so when Sammy came to take care of him...well, it made him all too happy to meet the red-head.

Samuel's biggest love is for cooking. He's amazing at it, and enjoys seeing people's faces light up when they try it. His hands are steady, and it helps that his mind is totally absorbed in cooking when he's at work. Unable to be disturbed, or pulled out of his little world, the man is quite good at not only that, but also cleaning. He's like a house-wife, as his friends would say, though only occasionally as mild mannered.

Samuel's biggest loathing is to be alone. He despises it when his house is empty, and will often do anything to try to fill it. It seems to be rooted in his past, his fear of being alone...if he could remember it. The man lost his memory when he was 16, so he's had to make new memories within the last three years of his life. He doesn't know if he has any family or friends to really live with, so he bought his own home from working in the back of a restaurant. Starting as a garbage boy, and becoming a chef quite quickly, he learned that a good meal was the sure way to keep him happy, and make sure he was never alone....

With his unknown past, he finds himself often sad and reflective. He'll move into his room, so as not to disturb Masaya, and just sit, writing in a journal, and letting his mind wander. Though these moods are few and far between, they seem to happen when someone questions him about his past. He tries to keep a smile on his face for people, but....it can get really hard. The young man is still learning how to get back on his feet, and leave the past in the past.
//Open Door policy//
Since he never wants to be alone, Samuel has an open-door policy. Anyone he believes to be trustworthy, or any pet his little Masaya happens to find is usually allowed within his walls. It's probably why they have a small pack of dogs that lives in their back yard. He can't really say no to a soul in need, and he adores the ability to feed and clothe, and shelter those who need it. His favorite assist to this day is the small black kitten that he took in a year ago. Although it's the whole reason he took Masaya into his home as well, except this time, the Togetic is a more permanent companion, which makes him INSANELY happy.
//Life means something.//
The boy's biggest belief in life, though, is that everything is to be respected. The earth, life, people, animals. Animal cruelty breaks his heart, and he can't stand to see anything dead. People....he'll be the first to admit that there's something about them that throws him off, but nonetheless, this will never exclude them from the boy's hospitality. He does his best to take care of any and all who pass through his doors.

The Pokemon Itself
Name: Togetic
Species: Happiness Pokémon
Type: Normal/Flying
Physiology:
Togetic are dainty Pokémon that are small in stature. The eggshell they had as a Togepi is now gone, but they still bear a red and blue triangular ring pattern on their bodies. They also now have a relatively long neck and long legs and a pair of wings on their backs, giving them a vaguely angelic appearance.
Special abilities:
They can sense the kindness in other people and Pokémon's hearts. This ability is similar to Blissey's. They also have the ability to float on the air without moving their wings much and spread happiness with their presence. Togetic also bring good fortune.
Like other Normal-type Pokémon, Togetic is capable of learning a wide variety of moves by TMs, such as Sunny Day and Rain Dance. Due to once being the fully-evolved part of its line, it is also capable of learning Hyper Beam.
Behavior:
Whenever they spot a pure-hearted person, they tend to go to that person and shower them with happiness and glowing down called "joy dust". To share its happiness, it is said to fly around the world seeking kind- hearted people. If it is not with kind people, however, it becomes dispirited and loses energy.
Habitat:
Forest Pokémon
Togetic have not been found in the wild. However, if they do live in the wild, they would probably live in a secluded area, like their pre-evolution. Secluded areas sometimes go undiscovered, so this might explain why no Togetic have been found in the wild.

I think this is a really cute quest~ Definitely need more happy characters here LOL <3
Personality seems to fit really well and I like the way the trainer and Pokemon interact ;3

The only thing I can think to critique is that last aspect of his personality. It doesn't quite mesh with all the rest, especially when you say that it has saved him in 'many' situations and yet his quiet times surprise Sammy because they're 'rare'. Otherwise, I really like the concept for this character. :3
