One day I was .just sitting here on my computer when I get a random Friend Request from a girl who says she saw my posts on the Wall of GivesMeHope's Facebook Wall. We started to talk because well I was bored. She started to flirt with me, so we began to kinda flirt with each other...We soon talked daily and recently started to talk with webcam. She says she really likes me and...Well just metaphorically speaking...If she ever wanted to meet me in real life, should I trust her? I think I should, but I want advice first before it's too late.

Well, since you have her on facebook, have been talking to her for a while, and have used webcams, there is at least a decent chance that she really is who she says she is. So you probably could take it to the next level if you wanted to.
You can meet people from the internet while still being safe and smart about it. For example, you can meet in a public place. That way, neither of you have to give out your address. You can each bring a friend or parent. You can each let someone else know where you will be going and who you will be with. You can have someone call to check up on you. And after you hang out for a bit, you can even both leave at different times so that neither of you know what kind of car the other drives or what the other person's license plate number is.
And then if all goes well you can give always give out more info later. 3nodding

Well we aren't actually meeting, she lives like 8 hours away. =/ But I just wanted advice in case it happened.

I met my fiance through Gaia, sooo... :shrugs.: it's the 21st century, dude. there are ways to be safe and still have in-person relationships with people from around the world over the internet.
