Majime had been feeling odd lately. She'd felt restless and fidgety, like she needed to be someplace other than here. She paced around nervously and twitched her tail as she absently pawed at her small collection of pebbles. She felt some unknown force pulling her towards the forest, but...
She snorts and shakes her head, wondering what to do. She could just go and find nothing, or she could go and something magical could happen. Well, that decided it for her. She gets up and looks around to make sure no one was following her or watching her, then trotted forward into the forest, which seemed eager to have her.

The quiet fox waited a little ways in the forest. She'd felt a similar tugging feeling drawing her deep into this unknown pack's territory, which she usually never ever did. She was nervous, but not all that scared, which was a new thing. She was usually almost always scared of larger predators, but now she was calm and collected. Her golden eyes sparkled as she heard the sound of twigs snapping and small foot falls on the forest floor. Her heart lit up and she stood, her oddly colored fur shimmering in the dappled sunlight. This was it! This was the person she'd been waiting for! She stepped out, a smile on her face when she saw a...puppy. Her excitement fizzled for a moment as she looked her over. She was very young it seemed and...she felt right. Aurora stood there uncertainly and awkwardly, waiting for the pup to say something.

Majime was just as puzzled as Aurora when she saw the other, but she also felt that 'right' feeling. Without hesitation the young pup stepped forward and looked at the slightly larger fox. "Hullo." She says a little shyly. She didn't know why, but she wanted to know this fox more and keep her close. Without thinking about it, she stepped forward and rubbed up against her some. Then her face flushed and she stepped back nervously. "S-sorry...I...don't know what came over me." She says with a little laugh. She thought this fox was very pretty and she couldn't help but stare at her fur. So many odd emotions surfaced in her that she was flabbergasted and had to sit down heavily and just look at this strange yet familiar fox.

Aurora stared at the wolf puppy for a moment, trying to get her tongue to work so she could say something. But then the other did it for her and walked forward and spoke. Her bushy tail twitched as she looked at her intently, trying to sort out what exactly it was about this pup that struck her as...being the same as her. They certainly didn't look alike, or were even the same species. "Hello..." She returns and was only mildly surprised when the black and white fluff ball came closer and rubbed up against her. She restrained the urge to lick her head comfortingly and instead just went still. When she stepped back her heart seemed to scream for her to come back and continue the affection. "It's all right...I understand..." She says softly. She sat down the same time Majime did without thinking about it. "What's your name little one?" She asks after an awkward pause. "Mine is Aurora."

Majime looked at Aurora and gave her tail a wag. She felt relaxed around her and any tension she'd had in her body eased. "My name is Majime." She chirps and smiles at her. Introductions out of the way, she gets up and scoots closer to Aurora. She gives her a curious sniff before snuggling against her warm fur. She really shouldn't be this trusting of a complete stranger, but she couldn't help it. "I like you." She says bluntly. She didn't mean like in a relationship way, but that she genuinely liked her as a friend and companion even though she didn't know her.

She was still a little puzzled. being the older one here, she was trying to analyze what was going on here more than Majime was. Majime seemed to have just accepted that Aurora was her new friend while the fox simply couldn't understand. When she came over and snuggled up against her chest, her fur fluffed out. She was frozen for a moment before she bent over and gently nuzzled her. "I like you too. I don't know why, but I do." She says and relaxes. She would stay with this puppy, she decided. She would watch over her and protect her from any harm she might encounter.

Majime made a quiet murring sound as she tucked herself against Aurora more comfortably. She wanted to know more about her, so she started asking questions. "Where do you come from?" She asks after a moment's thought and looks up at her. It already seemed cemented they'd be together, but now she just had to find out more about her new friend. She looked up at her for a moment before she began to study her fur absently and memorize the odd swirling patterns in them. She felt very close with her even though she didn't know much. She vaguely remembered her parents mentioning something about a spirit animal, but she didn't know if that meant a real one or not. She supposed she would figure it out eventually or ask about it later.

Aurora gently licked Majime's ears, removing some loose twigs from her fur. She relaxed more and laid down, feeling content with this warm bundle of fur against her chest. Maybe this is what it felt like to be a mom, she wasn't sure. She almost didn't hear her question, but her large ears tilted forward and she looked down at her. "Ah, well I come far north from here, where snow is on the ground all the time and everything is cold." She says with a shiver. "I didn't like it much there so I came down here, where it's warmer." She says simply. She had been alone up in the frozen tundras and she had hoped to find a friend of some sort or a mate down south. It looked like she had. "What is this pack called?" She asks and yaws a little. "Tell me some about yourself." She chuckles and nibbles on her ear lightly.
