THE FIRST
Name: Delphia
Mate: Sora
Children: Helaku, Dyre, T'Cora*, Nina Rosila, Damara, Jediah, Amalie, Lunn
Extended Family: Bloodline Chart
Familiar: A raptor-sized raven, Jaden
Brief History: Delphia was found in her basket by a human, and was a very frightened foal when she emerged. She fought the woman who only sought to befriend her, until they established an understanding. Life was good for the mare, meeting the other soquili near and around the Kawani village. She met a laughable, large raven and befriended him, finding his company amusing. She had several sutiors, but it was Sora who captured her heart.
They have had a very long and loving life together, marred only by the death of Delphia's beloved human companion. But as the family has grown, it has spread far and wide, leaving Delphia in the shadows of her life, often alone. She endures the loneliness with a gentle faith in having raised her children well. She is occasionally visited by her adopted daughter, T'Cora, as well as frequent check ins from her youngest, Amalie. Though she is wistful to meet the more distant progeny of her bloodline, she does not mourn her lack of interaction. They are all strong, good individuals, and she trusts that they have good lives.
Plots: I would love for her to meet and interact with her offspring and their offspring, and so on. She has a large family, and would love to get to know the younger generations.
I also have been given permission from staff to change her into an angeni, should I snag a slot for one. It is a slow process to win such a slot, but I shall be endeavoring to obtain it. In this storyline, she will die quietnly, alone, and the great spirits will take pity upon her, and remake her body into that of the pure breed of angeni. She will not recall her old life, though her old family will recognize her. No matter how much they try to refresh her memory or teach her again of it, she will never recall them or call them family. Her domain will remain unspecified until the slot is obtained. As an angeni, her breeding slots will remain consumed, though Sora no longer will be her mate.
OOC Notes: Delphia holds a special place in my heart, being the first Soquili I ever obtained. She was won in an in-thread event, though it's been long ago enough now, I forget exactly what it was. Jaden was won via another in-thread event, this time a rp contest.
