A N N O U N C E M E N T

GASP! Today is the start of the Sakura Festival now that the trees are now in full bloom! Of course, where else can you have this festival at, other than the Sakura Town?

People are gathering there for the festival, so maybe you should too? After all, who doesn't want to go and eat some cotton candy, play some fun games like trying to fish out goldeens and Magikarps? Or maybe you'd like some Mudkip Masks to wear on your head.

Don't forget the delicious food.

Nor forget the proper dress for Festivals! The Sakura Town folks might get angry if they don't see you wearing your Yukatas/Kimonos/Hakamas~!

Enjoy!

Location: Sakura Town

Sitting on a sturdy branch not too far away from a town, a girl with a black tail could be seen within the limbs and flowers of a sakura tree. Her leg kicked back and fourth as she leaned back on the trunk to relax. The white gloves that hid her harmful nails touched the fragile petals upon the branches of the cherry blossom trees. Letting out a sigh, she closed her eyes and put her hands on her lap wanting to take a nap. It was quite a peaceful day if a Gijinka Absol could say so herself. If you actually knew her, you would also know her name was Kuro. She made that name up herself seeing how humans used names to identify who was who. It took some time getting use to but after a while she adjusted. Unlike this new body. It was still her body, yes, but Kuro liked how she looked before. She has had this form for a while now but still hasn't gotten use to it. Her abilities became slightly weaker as well. It is a bother to her and would like to know how to change back, but for now she would just have to deal with it. Who know, maybe sooner or later she would find this body to be better than her old one and not want to change back.

Chattering of people could be heard in ear shot of where Kuro was sitting. Opening her eyes and looked back she saw that they were two human girls. She jumped down from the tree and tried to conceal herself by hiding in a bush that was close to the pink flowered tree she was just in before. From what she found out in a different town, some humans did not like Gijinka like herself. Kuro found out that they called half human, half pokemon like her Gijinka in that town as well. She didn't know why some humans didn't like Gijinka but she knew that it was sometimes best to hide. Rustling in the bushes she looked through a gap to try and see what they were doing. They were in robe type outfits...they looked warm and quite stylish. Having different patterns and colors. Humans were so interesting to Kuro. From time to time she would just watch them to see what they were doing. It was just her being curious. Sometimes people found it creepy, but Kuro didn't care about that.

The girls were chatting about some kind of festival....Oh wait, wasn't that some kind of gathering humans do to have fun? Like a party? Kuro had seen things like that before but was never close enough to be in one, just observe. Maybe she would go to this Sakura Town they were speaking of. It didn't seem like it was too far away from what those girls said. Sticking her head out of the bush Kuro followed the girl not knowing where to go to find this festival. She assumed it was the ground path but she just wanted to make sure. Only after a few minutes of walking did Kuro smell something cooking in the air. Leaving the girls that she was following she ran into the town not wanting to be seen by anyone. Kuro hid behind a house and climbed up on top of the roof trying not to make noise as she did so. Poking her head above to see what going on she saw dim lights in paper lanterns, the smell of food cooking, people smiling and having fun with one another as they played games. "Humans are strange." Kuro said to herself watching pokemon with their trainers walking around the booths. If Kuro didn't have this tail then she would probably blend in pretty well, but it was the only part of her that made her think she was still an Absol. So she wouldn't want it to just dissapear on her forever just for this event. Kuro wrapped her fingers around the curved top of the roof so she could hang on while looking at the people below her having fun.

. - Albitachi - .
~ Erufuun ~

" It’s now in the dusk every day to everyone
Ain’t so strong, I ain’t so strong to go
Living in life as it’s not the way to live
I wish you could hear me say that I miss you "

Cherry blossom petals were carried along by the small amount of wind in Sakura town. The sun gave the town so much warmth that the wind barely made a difference. A small smile made way on a little girls face; Surprisingly a Gijinka. Her fluffy white hair floated in the air due to the wind. Over her head, She wore a knitted hat that was a tan color with light pink strings attached to the ends. She didn't really like hats much, But without the hat humans might try to kill her. In fact, The young girl was always wondering why humans went as far as sometimes even trying to kill them or torture them! She also heard a story once about a Gijinka being a slave once long ago.
Why did she wear the hat? Well, The only proof that any human had of her being a Gijinka was the little horn like things on her head. The Pokemon, Erufuun had the same horns. Though she wasn't any normal Gijinka, She had blue horns. A normal Erufuun would originally have green horns. Its not like it made her stronger or anything, Though she could use it as an excuse and say they were just fake ears as a Erufuun cosplay. But she might accidentally spill the beans and then be killed, Thats why she was better off just wearing a hat. As the young Gijinka, Albitachi walked through the small town she could her the voices of townsfolk resonating quietly, Every step she approached closer to the town the voices got louder. Finally she made it into the center of town. It was where the Sakura festival was being held. She watched as trainers battled, And kids ran about the town with their parents. There were many shops around; Some selling cotton candy, and some selling cute and beautiful accessories!
There was a scarf at one of the shops that suddenly caught her interest. It was a scarf that was made of real cotton shaved off of Mareep! Most people if they saw a scarf like that they would feel sorry for the Mareeps fur being shaved off. Though Albitachi knew that the Mareep wouldn't mind, Mareeps fur grew back faster then you could snap your fingers together! Her round hazel eyes focused on the scarf, She could see a tag on the scarf that said 4.99. It was only five dollars, Which meant she could afford it! Albitachi had ten dollars on hand, But this would make only five... Though that wasn't bad! This would be the only the thing she would actually be buying with money. From what Albitachi knew, The food was free because of the festival. Though of course it wasn't always free. Albitachi grabbed the scarf and walked up to the lady in charge of the store. She put the scarf on the counter to pay for it and the lady smiled. " That'll be five dollars. " The lady said to her. " Thank you, And here! " She handed the money to her and bowed. She grabbed the scarf and put it in the small dark brown purse attached to her pocket. She may have bought it, But she was only going to wear it in the winter. She wouldn't need it in the spring when it was already warm!
Albitachi was walking to the cotton candy shop next ready to get her cotton candy. She walked in line and before she knew it she was in the front of the line! She got the free pink colored cotton candy and held it. It was in a small cone like plastic and ate a bit of her cotton candy. " Its so good~! " She smiled and kept on eating. It was so soft and delicious! And to think humans got stuff like this all the time.

( Yay~!
^ ^
)

" Why were we there back to back?
Why were we there face to face?
I must be the light when you’re in the dark
If you lose me somewhere, and your tears are in the air
I will ring a bell until you feel me by your side "

" I will burn my dread...
I once ran away from the god of fear
And he chained me in despair. "

The small trainer wasn't one who was very fond of festivals. Actually, if anything, he was one to just go in and grab a cotton candy, then leave. Maybe buy a drink or special food for her beloved pokemon. Other than that, she had no need for them. It was like that even before she became a pokemon Trainer.

Of course, she had a new reason for being here today.

Festivals were gatherings. A lot of people across Nayu went to them. That just meant that there was a chance, despite how slight, that there would be Gym Leaders here. For once in her life, she'd have a chance to finally run into the gym leaders and get more badges than her simple Yunhe one.

There was still a small chance that she'd actually run into them. Especially since she'd have to find a way to pick them up from the crowds. A very hard task for someone who's only seen glimpses of their pictures sometimes.

Still, with no delay, Mari had ran to Sakura Town in a Pink Kimono, holding two pokeballs in her hands as her Growlithe ran happily behind her.

"Mareep! Gastly!" She called out, throwing the pokeballs into the air.

Catching them, she watched the red beam form into her sheep and ghost pokemon, changing the pokeballs back into their smaller form.
"Stay near me and keep a look out for any Gymleaders!

The two nodded and with that, they headed into the Festival, roaming around. Of course, Mari still made sure to visit the cotton candy stand, hoping to grab some. Along the way, she noticed a girl with white hair eating cotton candy.
"Never seen her before. . ." She mumbled before paying the man for the cotton candy.

---------------------------------------------------

"Burn my dread...
I will break the chain
And run till i see the sunlight again.
I lift my face and run to the sunlight."

She felt ridiculous. That was the only way the young woman could describe the feeling she held as she rode into the crowded festival, not only side-saddle, but in a pink kimono. Her normal pig-tailed braids were put up in a bun and her red eyes shown clearly from behind her bangs for once as she jumped off the lovely Venusaur that had been her companion for as long as she could remember. The only reason she was there was for it's beautiful scenery. The town was just one giant photo shoot waiting to happen. It was a sham the only catch was the dress.

At least she still had her knife on her.

Had to keep it sheathed though, that seemed to be the oddest part. It was just a kitchen knife. Granted, a shockingly sharp kitchen knife, but putting it in a sheath made it look like it was some poorly shaped machete or something....Or a miniature version of some sword she had seen in a comic book that had a name that was strikingly similar to that of cleaning supplies.

She put Raru back in his pokeball and pet it lovingly before looking around the grounds. She could easily spot a few gijinka, many humans too. She wasn't sure where she wou--grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Okay, maybe food would be a good place to start. The brunette took a good look at the stands around, spotting a stand with dumplings. Oooh how she loved dumplings. The girl idly headed for the stand being sure to pull out her wallet and not another item she kept on her all the time. No need to make it look like she was robbing the place.

After receiving the dumplings from the kind man she walked to a more open area so she could let out Hiro, Spheal, and Arashi. Not the best choice considering those three always got in fights, but she wanted to be prepared just in case there was danger...Or maybe it was just in case she was eating and something interesting was happening. Arashi and Hiro had speed, Sealia was compact and could get through crowds. ...All her pokemon had an attribute that related to her photography in one way or another, she realized. Louis was good for getting above crowds, Hiro and Arashi's speed helped her get to the front of crowds. Unless they wanted to get stepped on, people usually moves away from Raru, and Chief...whell, he was just Chief. He was good at stealing...not much else, unfortunately.
