Amunet rose to her feet, stretching as she left Sirius' cave, where she'd been staying while their pups grew. One of them, her daughter, was already outside in the morning sunlight, dozing off contentedly in the warmth. She didnt see Sirius, but he had never been far away. She was getting restless here, her instinct to wander making her edgier as time passed.
Kesi's eyes were closed, though her ears were pricked for sounds of her brothers or father.

Sirius returned, dragging a freshly killed buck. Food for his family. No one could ever say he wasn't a sufficient provider. "Dinner's ready." A toothy grin was revealed as he carelessly dropped the buck, and wandered back into the cave. Deliberately, The Green Thing plopped down in his usual spot, ignoring Amunet and her daughter. His eyes darted around searching for his son, Tumult.
--
Tumult was lapping up water as the nearby lake when he saw his father, Sirius. The patriarch of his family took down the helpless deer with ease. Taking his time, Tumult grabbed another sip, savoring it before heading back to the cave where he was raised... Dinner looked good under the moonlight.

Amunet didnt really know what she'd expected of Sirius when they became parents.. surely not the constant cold shoulder. She half grinned at the meal, looking at Sirius briefly before tearing off a strip of the meat for herself, settling nearby as the now-grown pups wandered in. ---
Kesi bounded up as she opened her eyes to her father dragging in a buck. She was delighted at the food, and unaware of any unrest between her parents.. Of the three pups, she was the only one with her father's green pelt, or, at least partially green. She trotted to the cave's entrance, waiting a moment as she caught sight of her brother headed in as well.

Sirius returned Amunet's grin with little more than contempt-filled glare, burying his head into his pelt. The Ikal inwardly frowned, wondering how he managed to wander into fatherhood and a family life... The fatherly Alchemist Rogue was fed up. His ears and spines pricked up as Tumult approached... My son. The Green Thing smiled, however his head was out of view so no one could see. Tumult was the only part of their union that made the whole thing worth while.
--
Tumult came up to the dead buck and smiled at his sister, "Kesi, how are you?" The Ikal had been out all day and it was his first time seeing her, and unlike his father, he truly loved his sister. His head dipped low, and Tumult took a gingerly bite from the buck. He wasn't too hungry, being a male, Tumult could catch and kill his own food at this stage in his life.

Amun narrowed her eyes at him, resuming her meal in silence. They'd never been close, their fellowship originally just for diversion.. But now it seemed as if Sirius was more interested in driving her away. Amun shrugged slightly, returning to the meal. It was time for her to start hunting again, getting back in shape after the long winter holed up with her pups. ---
Kesi licked Tumult's cheek playfully as she bounded in next to him. "Kindof a boring day for me.. Can I come hunt with you tomorrow?" She seemed to have inherited a certain high-spiritedness, though from where was anyone's guess. Kesi was still young, and with her father ignoring her, she often turned to her brothers for assistance as she learned how to fend for herself. She, too, tore a strip of meat from the buck, her eyes looking up at him.

Sirius stood to his feet, flexing his legs, his muscles were sore from the recent influx of hunting he had to do. Feeding five instead of one was quite the jump to make, and although it only meant killing one or two more bucks or doe than usual, it was no cake walk. "Amun, I think it's time that our relationship comes to a close..." Looking her sternly in the eye to cement his earlier phrase, he turned to look at Tumult, who was talking to his sister. "Tumult, my son, you can come live with me and realize the heritage that you're meant to be apart of, or you can stay here with Kesi, your mother and brother."
--
Tumult swallowed, he was torn between the family he loved and the promise of what seemed to be something, much, much greater than the life he was currently living. To be honest, life had become incredibly tedious and lack lustered. "Father, show me this great legacy, I've grown tired of our life here, I seek one more sensational...." Tumult turned to face Kesi, "Do not think though my lovely sister that this is goodbye... I'll see you later... and you as well mother." Tumult smiled a toothy smile.

Amun sat up, facing Sirius with cool amusement etched on her muzzle. Bitter, perhaps a little, though she wasnt sure why. Her fangs showing a bit too well behind her cool exterior, she said nothing for a moment, listening to her son and Sirius speak first. "Very well, then.. I will return to my home, then," She stood up, her spines displayed completely, "and though any of you," she glanced at her three children, "are welcome to follow, you may make your own way from here."
She strode past Sirius, her eyes darkened in that instant she glanced at him as she passed. She took the long steps out of the cave, turning her head into the light breeze that greeted herl. Amunet would not, could not, look back from here. ------
Kesi, however, was not nearly so even tempered, nor so good at hiding her emotions as her mother, and she was on her feet in a flash, no longer eating, the blood still smeared on her muzzle. Her spines up defensively, she stared at her father. "And what if I wanted to come with you too?" she spat at him, hurt by his indifference.

"Give you pack mates my worst," Sirius called to Amun as she departed. Sirius couldn't help but think that he was not meant for a family life, and he thought that Amunet was destined for the same future as he. Sirius frowned, her assertion was unexpected, "there is simply no place for you where we are headed you see." The Green Thing's tone were matter-of-fact, and he said it with complete sureness, it practically oozed from his voice. Turning to leave, Sirius gave Tumult a look that said it all.
--
Tumult silently followed, processing everything, for a noble and loving person like himself, this situation was anything but favorable.

Kesi looked to her brother, but he was silent and said nothing in her defense. Her family, in few words and one devastating blow, had been broken. Her mother had left without looking back, her father and brother were leaving as well. "No place for me?" Her gaze shifted to her father again, and her ears flattened. Kesi was crushed, and angry as a result.
