Character Name: Tabathi (Tabi for short)
Age: 20 Edit: Toootally forgot to put this in before >.<
Gender: Female
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Craft/Rank: Beastcraft // Apprentice Wherhandler
Description: Tabi has never been on of the taller or averaged sized girls. She fell into the category of being "vertically challenged". She comes in to about 5'1-2" in height. Though short she may be, she is well built for a woman, with an athletic type build and decent sized chest. Bright stormy blue eyes gaze out of a warm and nicely rounded face framed by flowing auburn hair leaning a more towards red. Her hair, when worn down, goes to just below her shoulders but she tends to keep it up in a messy sort of bun. This keeps it out of her face for the most part while she does her work and chores.
Personality: Tabi has a very big heart about her and it is very rare to find something or someone she dislikes with intensity. She may get made at you for a few days, but it never lasts longer than that. This big hearted nature of hers has lead to her seeing dragons and whers alike. She doesn't distinguish a difference between them like others do. They are both loyal creatures to those they are bonded to. The only thing she sees as the difference is that dragons trump whers in size. However, she is also very aware that whers are different from their counterparts in attitude, having the ability to attack or even kill a person. As such, when it comes to people, Tabi doesn't discriminate. You could have scars all over, missing an eye or a limb and she will not see you any different from a regular person. Tabi will always have a warm smile about her and treats everyone about the same. The exceptions to this being those that require respect, like the Lord Holder.

As charming and big as her heart may be, this is also one of Tabi's flaws. Someone could easily take advantage of her and she wouldn't realize it right away until the damage was done or it had gone on too long and the consequences to her psyche would hit at her self consciousness. And self conscious Tabi is. She has never thought of herself as pretty and anytime someones gaze lingers longer than is polite, Tabi starts to fidget and get uncomfortable. But she is too kind to say so.

All this said so far, Tabi is not someone without a backbone. Just like any other creature in the world, if you back her into a metaphorical corner and leave her no way out, she will retaliate. But even this is half-assed. She just can't seem to ever bring herself to do harm, whether it be physical or mental, to a person. Her parents believe that this came about because of all the time she would spend with creatures that are, in all pretense, simpler than humans. Tabi has never really had any close friends aside from her father, a brother and the family whers.
History:Ever since she was a little girl only able to crawl, Tabi has been around the overlooked Whers. So much glory always seemed to be put on to the majestic dragons. Tabi has never looked at a dragon any differently than she has the Whers. Her family had generations of miners in them with a few Wher breeders mixed in. Their current residence was with the minercraft and Tabi's family was graced with good luck when her grandmother impressed to a gold Queen, Allesk. Their luck continued when her mother was able to bond to the same golden beauty that her grandmother had been bonded to. Galesk, once Allesk, outlived Allesa and wasn't quite ready to call it quits it seemed. She bonded to Galena and has been Galesk ever since. Galena would bring her little one to see Galesk and introduce her to the golden queen. Tabi was never afraid of that large head as it peered down at the small bundle.

When she was older and able to walk on her own, Tabi loved going down with her mother to see Galesk when she could and was schooled in how to care for a wher, how to feed them, what to watch out for. She loved it and loved the creatures. As she got older, she learned that Galesk tolerated all her adoration because she was her bonded's daughter. And the little two legs amused the golden. It made Tabi realize that she had a lot more to learn about the whatch-whers. By her own choice, Tabi threw herself into lessons with the Whermasters and began an apprenticeship as a wherhandler.

Not long after her apprenticeship, Tabi's mother got ill. She stayed as strong as she could for several months, but in the end, the illness took her. Galesk followed her mother and didn't bond with another again. Tabi and her father still care for the whers raised by her family. He has hopes that Tabi will take after her mother and bond to a queen as well. Tabi on the other hand just wishes to bond with a wher. She doesn't not have a preference of what kind. As for following in her mothers footsteps, Tabi isn't sure if she wants to pursue the breeder route or the minor. Or some other choice that she is not aware of. Many decisions are starting to weigh down on her as she hers more good things from her Whermaster teacher.

Now of 20 turns, Tabi hopes that she is finally ready to find a wher to call hers. She has watched many come and bow to Galesk and take an egg. Watched those new hatchlings bond with Theirs and the pair slowly grow together. One day. One day she could be like that pair.
Other:
-Will be the owner of the firelizard, Green Gale, who Tabi named after her mother. ((This lizard was gifted to me by The Anesthesia^^ ))

Looks kind of like this with just slightly redder hair:

The only comment I have for this is to remember that the chief difference between Dragons and Whers is that Whers, regardless of being bonded to a person or not, can and sometimes do attack/kill people. They have none of the psychological conditioning/barriers the dragons do.

They're also of a pretty nasty temper and never particularly kind. Leaving a child with a re-bonded gold would be... risky at best.

Annnnd finally, there's generally only a few Whers to a Major Hold, and if the Holders is lucky, one for a Minor Hold, and then several for Weyrs and Mines. If you could clarify what sort of place they were living in that they bred and handled enough Whers to have a fair amount around, that would be great.

If you could answer that question, I'd be happy to approve the profile!

Thank you very much for taking a look at my app!

I hope I changed everything enough to work out better. I've made mention of how she is aware of the major difference being that Whers will attack/kill people. I have also changed the sentence slightly that mentioned she would 'play with' her mothers Wher to simply be that she loved going down to see the Wher with her mother.

As for where they have been living, I changed the first paragraph under her history to mention their current residence is with the minercraft and that they were lucky to have a family member bond to a gold Queen. If this still doesn't work, please let me know and I will work to fix it!
