It was a simple question really. Where did he go? Where had Scheelite, and Demy disappeared too? The over active hyperactive brat had practically vanished from the face of the city. He wasn't in the arcades, out eating tacos, or even causing chaos in the name of the Negaverse, whatever his big plan was he seemed to have forgotten it along with his team and so nightly patrols had shifted from starseed and energy gathering to a task of roaming the city hunting for Schee.

"You bring me into your team, talk about all these plans and then drop us like a bad habit. Schee I'm going to beat the crap out of you for this." Slowly she made her way along the rooftops glancing about slowly with tired eyes. She was weary of the constant late night hunts. Longer then normal patrols and far more dull.

"I had reasons, you know."
One shadow seemingly detached itself from the other rooftop shadows. It looked like just a trick to tired eyes, until the shadow continued to move forward and finally revealed itself for who it really was.

Scheelite

And Scheelite sure looked like hell. Noticeably tired, exhausted even. It was a far cry from the usual hyperactive personality he put forward. Really he was considering going back and just sleeping some more, it never seemed to be enough no matter how many hours he got.

It wasn't healthy to stay cooped up forever either though, so he forced himself out each night to do something . Tonight...well....this probably wasn't going to be pleasant.

"I still have plans, I still have a team. But I need some time, okay?"
Hell, even his glowsticks had burnt out. At least that explained why he could hide in the shadows so easily.

Before he even landed rains of ashes trailed from Hel's hands and feet, fist raised to strike as Schee split from the shadows. Still the hands remained raised, not willing to think for a moment that Schee wouldn't do something, well something stupid like he might normally do.

Still he looked wrong, his face was sunken and worn, rings and wrinkles the whole deal like he hadn't slept in ages. His glow sticks too, they were just as dead. The whole thing would be comical almost if it wasn't for the fact he was her captain and she did have reason to worry about his well being.

"Well you sure are taking your sweet time and look like total crap in the process..." Slowly her hands would lower and she would approach the captain placing her hands on his shoulders. "Where the hell have you been and why didn't you tell us at least?"

Scheelite visibly flinched as the hands fell on his shoulders. For a moment acid eyes widened and he looked like he might flee once more. But slowly he calmed himself, still gently pulling away from the touch.

"I've...been around, and I left a note for Heather."
Like a simple note explained all the reasons he ran away and refused to talk to anyone unless they found him first.
"I need time, okay? Things went bad and I'm so confused and I just...n-need time."

He backed away more, rubbing at his eyes to stop the tears before they could come. God DAMNIT he wasn't ready to face the people he was closest to..

But he had to, or at least try to.

The flinching was expected, it was routine, both Schee and Zink did it any time she made contact, but this one was different, this wasn't just the 'ewww stop touching me' this was the flinch of someone who didn't want to be near anyone. "Well she never told me, and you never left me one so consider this the time to leave a proper notice with me before I file your absence as a 'reason to kick you butt up and down the block' sound fair?"

Still with her hands on his shoulders she gave a light squeeze before he managed to slip away. "Hiding out alone isn't going to help you need to talk to someone or do something else your just going to end up going crazy."

Not to say he wasn't already nuts that is.

"Heh, you're telling -me- I need to get out and be more social? Ironic, isn't it?" He gave a bitter sort of laugh and backed up a bit more to give that much extra space as a buffer between them.

"I...am not ready. I HAVE had people though, I'm still out doing Negaverse things obviously, and I run into people then. Sometimes we talk, sometimes we don't. I'm not just holed up in a corner somewhere ignoring the world."

Not now at least. The first couple of days? ...Yeah, he had been.

"I have things to sort out, okay?"

"Well considering you've been the complete opposite of your super hyper go getter self I have reason to say that and it be completly justified thank you." She paused not yet following him, letting him have the space for now.

"If you aren't held up somewhere how come no one knows where to find you then? No one seems to know what happened to you so I don't buy anything your saying till I have proof you haven't just bailed on us, your team."

She crossed her arms raising an eyebrow, "Fine, what is it you need sorted out and I'll help." One finger quickly snapped out to point dead at his chest, "And I won't be taking a no, go away, or any kind of you brushing it off hear me captain? None of it."
PostPosted: Thu Jan 06, 2011 10:57 am

"Because maybe I don't want people to find me. Maybe I don't -want- to be social or lead a team or anything right now. I'm WORKING on it, okay? I'm a terrible ******** captain, I get it. Whatever!"
He was pacing back and forth by now, arms raised in the air and gesturing as he talked. Special emphasis on the word whatever.

The mention of help seemed to strike something with him. He stopped dead in his tracks, muscles tightening as he fought with himself to not lash out with anything other than words.

"YOU can't sort this out for me. Nobody can, JUST me. Besides, how exactly are you going to fix the entire ******** world for me? Huh? I miss Zink, damnit. I miss you and I miss Heather but if I go back now all I'll do is cry. Nothing makes any god damn sense and trying to fix it is just making it so much worse. So, Hel, this is me telling you to leave the subject alone, and to leave ME alone. Go. Away."

That seemingly settled, the blond captain shoved his hands in his pockets and started to move away. He was -done- with this conversation, or so he thought at least.

"No one said you would be perfect and no one expects that Your being to hard on your self over nothing probably!" She was tempted to stalk over and strike him once hard and good, but odds are that wouldn't do any good at all.

"You won't even tell us whats wrong to try and help! We can't help if all you do is b***h and moan about something we know nothing about!" She huffed, "If you miss us why don't you just talk to us! If you actually mean anything to us we wouldn't care if you cried! Look at me I'm right here trying to talk to you and I'm not mad at you for being upset I'm pissed because you won't even try to let me help!"

Stalking towards the captain she held no regard for personal space grabbing his wrist holding it up and giving him a shove, screw it if he hit her. "You aren't the only one with problems you idiot. Do you know how many nights I spend punching walls and pillows crying because my whole life is a god damn lie? You, Zac, Heather, you are the only things REAL in my life it's all I HAVE anymore since Ursula was frozen in that stupid crystal so don't act like your the only one with problems and shove us away, it hurts us too you idiot!"
PostPosted: Thu Jan 06, 2011 11:08 am

"BECAUSE ZAC ******** HATES ME OKAY?!"
The blonde had screamed back, intent on that being the last thing he said. But with her now grabbing his wrist and shoving him it seemed this was far from being over.

"We BROKE UP okay?! We broke up and I don't ******** know what's going on anymore and he probably hates me and I hate my self and I swear if you don't let go of me RIGHT. NOW..."
Not that he gave her much of a choice, because the next thing Hel saw was a spiked glove coming right at her face while the captain yanked his other arm free.

"I KNOW you have problems, EVERYONE does, but I can't friggin help you with yours if I can't get past MY OWN. I am not leaving forever, though if you keep ******** PUSHING me, maybe I will."

He wouldn't, of course, because Heather would probably eventually hunt him down and kick his a** up and down the city. But it sounded like a good threat.

"I am warning you. Drop it, NOW."

So that was it, they broke up, and now Schee was handling it like some over reactive little girl who had her heart broken. One one hand Hel wanted to laugh in his face about it, the other almost took pity.

At least took pity up to the part where her jaw exploded with pain suddenly and blood broke from a cracked lip. Stumbling backwards she snarled softly, words trailing from her lips as clouds of ash rained from her hands and feet. Lunging back she struck for his chest to put the weight of her magical ashes on him.

"Running from your problems won't solve ANYTHING you IDIOT!" She hissed as blood continued to slowly make its way down her chin, her next strike came low for his side from the left, her right fist having gone for his chest earlier. "You won't leave and you know it but your too afraid to try and fix it so all you do is RUN and SULK!"
PostPosted: Thu Jan 06, 2011 7:35 pm

It was SO much more than that. Demetri Wright's perfect world had been crumbling for ages, and it was only through a lot of patch up lies that he had even made it this far. A second breakup with Zac was the final rock to the fragile glass house the blonde had built around himself. A life of lies? He knew about that. His own life was filled with lies, though they were self imposed as a defense mechanism to keep himself from being upset at the world around him.

With that stripped away, the raw emotional wreck of a person Demy actually was had been set loose, and incapable of dealing with that he had run away from everything to try and fix it. When he was a kid he locked himself away in his room and thought up an imaginary world to make himself feel better. This...was just the 'grown up' version of that same plan.

Not that Scheelite was a grown up type of person. Ever.

"Stop calling me an IDIOT! I am your CAPTAIN and I refuse to let you keep calling me that!"
Scheelite fell back with the punch, letting it hit him so she would continue to come in closer. What he hadn't been prepared for were the effects of the ash, and the rather uncomfortable burning sensation was rather unpleasant. Not to mention he felt a bit slower, senses dulling a bit as they were clogged up with ********, he really...really hated fighting people with smoke and ash based attacks. God damnit.

One hand grasped at his chest, trying to pull the ash off of it as fast as it seemed to be sticking to him.

The other summoned his guitar, the pointed head quickly been thrust at Hel's own chest. Besides the fact it was a bit stabby and hurt in general, a current of electricity was coursing between the tips and on contact would sting like a ******** WARNED you to get the HELL away from me. You so sure you really want to fight me? I just want to be left ALONE for a while, god damnit!"
Acid eyes narrowed, burning with a lot more rage than usual.

In some ways maybe they wern't all that different considering how much they both lied. The real difference was in why. Demetri denied, denied, Hel was forced to lie. Her old life gone, not a fragment of it left, the girl who wore the name Lorelei was a figure made to cover up a past she could only half remember a time when she fought foolishly for the moon. A life where she could come home to a mother and a father, to a house that was her own.

What she saw in her captain now was disgusting, broken, and giving up. He had a chance to fix the things she could possibly never have again, at least not in the way she would have wanted, sure it would be worth it all in the long run, but sometimes it just made her pissed as all hell.

"Then start ACTING like a CAPTAIN!" Even as he fell back and she stepped in, her right hand started to pull back ready to land again when the guitar appeared between them. A sick shock running through her gut as she stumbled backwards.

"Oh no, I'm not leaving now, I'm going to beat some sense into that messed up little head of yours till you calm the hell down and actually DO SOMETHING RIGHT ABOUT ALL OF THIS!" The usual teasing and mild manners where gone, Hel was sick of the whole thing and hitting Schee was about to be the best relief she had. Dashing in again she slapped at his arms, let the ashes rain on them she mussed, feel that guitar weigh as much as every mistake he had made in the past months, with every lie he had told.

He would see that she was trying to help, he would see the 'light' (such an amusing choice of words she would later think) He would see it even if she had to beat it into him.

"What the HELL would you know about being a captain?! You're not even a normal Negaverser! You're a god damn SENSHI. TAINTED." He had practically spit the word 'Senshi'. It was a vile, disgusting word. Aliens is what they were. Sure, Hel was on their side now, his -team- even, but currently Scheelite was having a hell of a lot of trouble with the word 'trust', and with the way she was behaving now? Well...he should have figured a Senshi would turn on him.

He hardly seemed to notice the hits raining on his arms. Sure, they stung and that damn burning sensation was back again. But right now, the pain only seemed to further fuel the rage burning behind those normally joyful eyes.

They were, however, making it harder and harder to continue holding up that guitar. The thing weighed a lot to begin with, and whatever her ash did was making it worse. No problem! He was used to fighting without it most of the time anyway, but before he gave up he was going to get in one more hit.

SMASH
The sick crunching of his instrument in his hands brought a smile to his face. Ahhh, traditional rockstar move of smashing the guitar. Whether it hit it's intended target of Hel or the ground around them didn't matter, just the sound of destruction brought him some pleasure.

Besides, it'd be fine again the next time he summoned it! He loved Negaverser magic.

"Don't you DARE talk to me like that!" Her eyes flashed with just as much hate and murder as Schee's own, she was NOT some piece of trash to be dismissed by 'normal' negaverse agents. All it did was fuel the desire to hit him harder, the blows bouncing off of him becoming faster and heavier each adding another spot of ash to his already soot covered outfit.

Suddenly something changed, the guitar was rising far too high and fast, it was moving and the world seemed to slow. She twisted and fell, it wasn't graceful but it was far better then having the guitar crush in her skull. Her ribs exploded with pain the air ripped from her lungs as the hit dropped her down. In those few moments Schee might gloat at her, have thought about how awesome she did. It didn't last.

Shoving herself up she rose on shaking knee's grabbing at his collar tugging him down as her other hand plunged into his chest grabbing hold of the starseed inside him. She could feel it, every crack, every flaw, every perfection that was being eaten away. It was disgusting.

It was beautiful, and she could rip it out without even pausing to blink. "Do you feel that Schee?" she said before coughing as her body shook with pain. "Don't you ever talk to me like that again...." Slowly she would pull herself up using the now frozen boy as leverage. "I swear to god it's self I will send you into what ever sick abyss awaits us." Heaving she gave his Starseed a squeeze. "So you shape up... and start acting like a captain go talk to Zink and stop being an IDIOT." The last word was followed by another squeeze as the blood red eyes locked onto his.

"Do you understand me? Clean yourself up, or else."

Well that was a weak threat considering she was probably going to be laying up with ice all over her now busted ribs for a few weeks while Schee did what ever it was he did up till now.
