XXX Yamashita Yori Rokubantai-Fukutaicho 『"I'm new here but I'll show you around. Don't worry."』 XXX A brown-haired, slim and short, young female opened the doors to the Rokubantai Kendo Dojo, letting in more sunlight into the enclosed space. Carefully, she pushed back both doors to their respective walls so as to maintain that inward flow of light. Not that it would help me much, she thought. With the wooden slabs secure and in place, Yamashita Yori made a beeline for the door on the left hand side that her new Taicho had said it led to the room of weapons used for training and such. Remembering that, she chuckled at herself. Here she was, the most recent Rokubantai-Fukutaicho and the sealed appearance of both of her Zanpakuto, not just one, was a pack of cards each. They were not even steel-plated, at least. Yori kicked the door open and kept it ajar as she entered the smaller vicinity. It was cluttered yet very organized. There were blades of all sizes and shapes: bokken, Shinai, katana, wakizashi...was that an ax in the corner? Now, she was inside of it completely, the closed door a thing of the past. Her hands covered as much as it could touch, moving with a gentle speeds as the names of the surrounding objects continued to dance in her mind's eye. It was one of those rare moments where she forgot to be judgemental and condescending and allowed herself to feel something quite close to an ecstasy of pure, white happiness. When it was beginning to feel like forever, Yori tried to reel herself in but it was a reluctant act if ever there was one. Once fairly together again, she picked up two swords that her hands had been holding at the time. Suitably, one was a kodachi whereas the other was a wakizashi. She was not fond of katanas particularly because it was two of them that had slain her in the first place, sending her here. Feeling the tears pricking the corners of her eyes, Yori wiped them away as fast as she could while pushing her away out of there, taking in large gulps of air once she was. Where was her Taicho, anyway?
Sometimes it was not the wisest thing to leave Yori alone to her own vices but in this case, it was okay. Immediately, after settling her nerves and clearing her mind, the young woman adopted a familiar stance from when she was alive and still training under someone's supervision. She allowed herself to be lost by the calming motions of moving throughout the room according to the teachings of long ago. She could not get back that life. Her parents would be forever lost to her. All that she had in the Sereitei and to live for was the progression of her skills in sword fighting. Whatever that came from the success of that was simply a side effect. She was almost halfway through when it struck her that this ideal was not exactly accurate. Her duties belonged to the Gotei 13 and all that it stood for as an organization as well as a military force. Thinking that she placed too much of a thrust behind her next swing and incidentally, threw herself to the floor. It would be fine to say that she got back up as soon as that happened but it would be quite the lie. Instead, Yori stayed in place with her arms and legs splayed out about her and facing the door, ready to challenge with her eyes the next person to walk through that door if he or she commented on her current choice of a resting place. Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ Tetsunosuke was resting in a side room to the right of the main area of the dojo, it was a safe room of his. He also kept it under lock and key as he had precious things in there that he did not want people pilfering through. A television that displayed human world programs, a record player that also had a cassette, and CD player in it as well, a couch that was big enough to sleep on if needed, a book shelf of books that were mostly related to sword and other weapon styles, a large cabinet that contained old wall scrolls of similar items to the book shelf. Tetsunosuke had just been lazy and looking through a book when he heard someone enter the dojo. Suspecting it to be the very person he was expecting to drop be today, he yawned and stretched. Looking over to a picture of Kyoshiro, he moved passed as he reached for his Haori that was resting in a chair beside the coffee table that the picture rested on. Swooping his left arm in and then his right, Tetsunosuke adjusted onto his back as he look himself in a mirror to make sure he was fashionably suited. The Captain walked over to his door and unlocked it without making a noise. To his right, on a hook, was a clip board that he had obtained from the Shinōreijutsuin; which contained some basic information about his new Lieutenant. Having already selected her out of a few graduates to become his new Lieutenant, Tetsu was just unsure on how he was going to round out her blunt edges.
The Captain pressed his ear up to the door as he heard that she had taken to swinging a sword around, slightly aggravated that she was acting like the Dojo was hers to play around in, he opened the door that blended in with the wall and closed it back, the door barely was audible as it slid open. The teenage looking girl was layed out on the floor of the dojo facing the door. "Yamashita-san, I had almost forgotten that you were so young of age. Well, physically speaking." Tetsu commented from behind her. His left hand would have been retreated to the top of his head, running it through his hair, as his right was propped on his hip. "What sort of goals do you have in life? Like, what're you trying to accomplish? Are you wanting to take my position, perhaps take over the Sotaicho's spot... Or perhaps, you don't have any and you're just complacent with where you are at." Tetsunosuke, a man so unsure of his own destiny, was asking Yori about what she was striving for. Something he had asked Kyoshiro a long time ago. While his depression was slightly a thing of his past, it was reminiscent of that time long ago. Even then, Tetsu wasn't sure what he was reaching for as he is now. He has strength, but it's not always enough, he has obligations, but they don't always satisfy, he has a few select friends, but they don't always understand. Nothing in this world he is living in is truly what he wants. He feels as if his calling is higher, higher then that of any Hakase can obtain or reach to. It wasn't to be part of the Zero Division either; no it was different. But still so far away and not understandable to him. After scratching his head, he dropped his hand, like a weight it fell to his side and swung a couple of times. Hanging beside his Sakuzen Kosshi, the name his Zanpakuto went by; which it hadn't much to say today, thankfully.

XXX Yamashita Yori Rokubantai-Fukutaicho 『"I'm new here but I'll show you around. Don't worry."』 XXX With Tetsu-Taicho's door moving so soundlessly and Yori's lack of self-awareness, the newly recruited Fukutaicho did not notice that her Captain was even in the building until she heard someone call out to her and commenting on her age no less. Scrambling to her feet, Yori picked up the dropped swords and placed them into their respective saya while trying still pull off some level of presentability in the older man's presence. She held both sheathed blades in her right hand and held onto that arm with the left one. Her brows furrowed at his questions. Frankly, she had not been expecting them or was it that she had not been a dojo for that long? As he was winding down, her facial features relaxed into her usual stoic expression. To be fair, she had not given much thought to exactly where she was taking this whole 'Shinigami' thing. Back home, it was a natural talent for her and if she moved up in the ranks, so be it. "Are you saying that you can be that easily replaced, sir?" She tapped the swords against her leg and began walking around him. "Anyway, I give my best always. If that progresses into my taking your job and that of our precious Sotaicho, it would not be a problem for me now, would it? However, if you have any fears about it, I suggest putting up more of a challenge. Hardly do I bite." This response brought her to a full circle so she stopped and faced the man for the second time that day. She poked both swords within the hold of the sash at her waist on the left hand side while keeping her green eyes on him. He was adorable if she had to give a compliment on his appearance. "But to answer you directly, no, I am not complacent with where I am. I never am. Now then, shall we start?"
She had mouth but Yori was not a fool. Her left hand came down on the kodachi whilst the hilt of the wakizashi was grabbed by her right hand but neither of them were pulled out their saya. Even if this was her training, she was not drawing any blade against her Captain without his permission. I wish both of my swords did not have to be cards. Strange sealed states had been witnessed already but when was the last time that someone walked onto the battlefield with a pack of extremely informative, trivia cards as weapons? 'We set standards, b***h', an angry, female voice shouted into her mind with not a care for her mental well-being.'For exceptions', another female voice said but this one used soft tones that numbed some of the ache that had been caused by the first voice. Yori raised her head and shook it as if she was tossing her tresses but they had been twisted into a very tight bun on top of her head since that morning. Her face was pinched as she shook her head a few times, trying to rid her mind of the extra voices. It was her insecurity speaking. She could do this. With a final shake, her head came down, eyes closed, and the fingers of her right hand flew to her forehead to rub in a slow yet deep circles at the temples. Once the mental disruption had eased, she opened her eyes again and regained her footing as well as the placement of her hands. XXX ▲Let's play~▼ XXX

Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ He watched her climb to her feet and sheathed the weapons that belong to the dojo. He was inquisitively staring at her furrowed brows after he'd asked his inquires. She had relaxed in to what seemed like a normal expression for her, and she continued with asking him a question. He hated having questions bring more questions. With a sigh, he lowered his propped right hand to his side and rubbed the back of his neck. "To be frank, I don't think so." He answered her. He stopped rubbing his neck and began scratching the side of his cheek. As she walked around him, he got a weird feeling of insecurity, to which he dropped his right hand to his side. "Silly girl, I'm irreplaceable." Tetsunosuke would quickly retort before she continued to place her weapons into her sash. The green eyed girl looked him straight in the eyes, while he wasn't the tallest, he still had to look down at her.
The girl had took a stance after asking if her Taicho was ready for battle. A respectful motive; he relished in respect, that was for certain, but sometimes, he enjoyed a bit ferocity when well played; which he honestly expected from her. "Ah, yes..." He simply stated. He watched as she shook her head, as if something was bothering her, she would continue by closing her eyes and rubbing her temples. "of course, if you're suffering from a headache, we could hold off." He remarked on her pinched facial expressions. "Perhaps it's her Zanpakuto." Sakuzen Kosshi remarked. Tetsunosuke didn't reply to his Zanpakuto spirit, he simply kept watch as he drew the Katana. The well taken care of blade was shimmer in what light was coming from the opened doors; his right hand drew the blade from his scabbard upward as it was held back with his left. The right hand would be directly under where his tsuba would be if he had one. His hands were bare today, and his clothes were more properly fixated. His tattoos were only seen on his face, something her sometimes regretted getting, but also not. His expression was that of a serious one, it held a teacher's touch in it as well. "So, if you want to continue, today we're going to do Shikai training, wasn't that correct? Usually Lieutenants are picked after they've obtained their Shikai; thus this session would usually be Bankai training. But that doesn't bother me, I enjoy teaching, to some extent... How else will my wisdom be passed on if I don't offer it. Now, in honor of you becoming my Lieutenant, you can make the first move, but don't be too flashy." Tetsunosuke smirked at the end of small talk. He would bring his left hand up to his katana and take a normal stance to where the sword was out in front of him. He was wondering why she wasn't using her own swords, and remembered that they were unique in form; something he would hold off on making remarks about.

XXX Yamashita Yori Rokubantai-Fukutaicho 『"I'm new here but I'll show you around. Don't worry."』 XXX Yori shook her head slightly at his concern and attempted to focus more on the fact that he had drawn his katana. Her eyes flickered over his face as he related what this session would be. She smirked at his mention of passing on his wisdom. "Then, you must be quite the wise guy, sir." It would be a shame if the double meaning of that statement was lost on her tutor. "Flashy, me? Never." Now, Yori unsheathed both blades and stared straight at her teacher and Captain, thinking of how best to unnerve the man. He was traditional in bearings and she would have to use that to her advantage in any possible way. Her eyes searched his external person for a few seconds before an idea came to her. Skilled in controlling the motions of her body, Yori kept her face indifferent as she took one step forward in a straight line before engaging in a series of Shunpo in a zigzag pattern that would end with her appearing solidly at Tetsu-Taicho's right hand but only for a second. She liked speed. Both hands twirled their respective swords before the kodachi was bent with the intention of slashing the Captain's right shoulder in an upward stroke while its wielder was already twisting around her Taicho to strike against the blade in the man's hand with the wakizashi. By this time, the kodachi would be in defensive postion at her waist level, whether or not its primary offense was a success. XXX ▲Let's play~▼ XXX

Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ Feeling nostalgic he smiled and lowered his guard some. Tetsunosuke sort of got what she might have been trying to hint at. He simply replied with a shrug and confused look. He didn't put on a serious face just yet, he watched her with a lax facial expression as she unsheathed her swords. He noticed Yori staring him down like a lioness looking to corner her prey; looking to unravel him so she could make a strike.
She made her first step forward, the way her foot hit the ground caused an echo through his ear drums as he watched her feet. She executed some well trained flash steps as she made her way toward him in a zigzag pattern; which was a pattern he was able to keep up with. She came out of her last step to his right hand, he stared her down as she twirled her blades and aimed to cut his right shoulder; he released his Zanpakuto into Shikai and moved his body, he used his scythe to knock her kodachi away from striking his shoulder. Her wakizashi would simply strike against the bottom of his weapon as he maneuvered - taking back-steps away. With bare feet, he tug his toes into the ground and moved his hands up the pole of the scythe, aiming to strike her neck with the pole end. But he wasn't done with that, whether she blocked it shunpo'd away, he would appear next to her again and aim the back side of his scythe to his chest after he had twirled around to swing the weapon at her with both hands.◤

XXX Yamashita Yori Rokubantai-Fukutaicho 『"I'm new here but I'll show you around. Don't worry."』 XXX Yori grimaced openly at the sudden onset of a pounding headache as her Captain released his Shikai. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to try clearing her mind as the staff of the man's sycthe blocked both of her offenses with the man himself on the move to make his own attack almost immediately. She lifted the kodachi's blade to parry the attempted strike against her neck but did not have to place too much attention on that as he was moving around her once again. Seeing that he was planning to swing the enlarged blade towards her, Yori rushed into it but leaned to the side at the last moment hopeful to pierce her teacher's shoulder with her wakizashi before spinning on her toes to appear behind him, jumping slightly to bring the tip of the kodachi straight down his back, his spine being her guide and target. The headache was still bothering her and since there was no sound around to bother them, she deduced silently that it was a minor yet effective trick of Tetsu-Taicho's Shikai. Of course, this little discovery did not show on her face as she was highly determined to achieve her Shikai. With that motion complete, the newly instated Lieutenant rose to her feet and kept her mind set on the battle in front of her.

Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ To his surprise, the small and nimble Yori was able to tuck underneath his large swing and strike at his shoulder, it felt like a hard punch to Tetsu as he still bore his specialized Shihakushō into training. Tetsunosuke was able to follow her movements and created a false Utsusemi, the image would just fad away as she brought her sword down the backside of the image. Tetsunosuke had not ventured far; he simply stood in front of her as she rose to her feet once more. He carried a focused expression as his scythe morphed into a sword. "Fushi Kenjutsu, Hone Ken." He verbally stated as his sword gained an armor of bone like material, his posture became slightly slouched as he lumbered forward. Dropping the blade to have it twirl and be caught so that the sword was now being held as if it were a ninja holding it; he held the Zanpakutō with his right during this time. "Hone Enchō." He pronounced with the swing of his sword. While he wasn't near enough to attack her, his sword was suddenly extending in length and was being swung at her with enough force to slice her in half at a speed of 70 mph. As the bony-blade was about to strike its target, he would break the connection at were the tip of his actual sword started. In one Shunpo he was four feet over her head coming down on Yori; his sword was still facing downward. Tetsunosuke's left hand was on top of the hilt while his right was just above where the tsuba would be. He was aiming to pierce her right through her scapula and clavicle (collar bone). While this wasn't normal training, he like to push people into thinking on their feet; and hopefully, drawing on outside sources - such as her own Zanpakutō. Hit or miss, he would hold his sword in his left hand with it being held like normal. He would proceed on with the training he inaudibly created a Danku behind her so she would have to move to the left, right, or up to evade what came next; a strong stabbing push from his left hand caused the wind to whirl. With his stab aimed at her neck, it would slice the side of the right of her neck if it landed, leaving a nice gash. As he drawing the sword back it started to extend at the same speed from before, he had been preparing a Kidō in his right hand, aiming to blast to the left of her, "Hadō number 63: Raikōhō!" the lightning shot out of his hand, aimed to predict her movement to the right. ◤

XXX Yamashita Yori Rokubantai-Fukutaicho 『"I'm new here but I'll show you around. Don't worry."』 XXX With gritted teeth, Yori took in the fact that her spinal attack had not been successful and that now, the appearance of her teacher's sycthe has morphed into that of a regular sword. He was on the move already but with the sudden change of his sycthe, she was doubted that that was where the transformations ended. Instead of rushing in like she had planned, Yori readied herself by holding her left hand out with the kodachi while the wakizashi was up in the air behind her, held by her right hand. Standing her ground, she noticed that he said something just before letting his sword swing out even though he was nowhere close to her. The Lieutenant took the plunge still to parry the blade with her kodachi and luckily so as the sword had extended during its trajectory and could have sliced through her if it had not come into contact with her own blade. This action allowed her to lower herself to the floor as the blade broke at where the tip of the original blade would be. With her vision focused now on what is above her, Yori spotted Tetsu-Taicho as he came down to pierce her somewhere it seemed near her chest. She rolled to the right and came into contact with a searing pain as her Captain's new sword tried to pierce through her neck. While scrambling to her feet, another gash was made on her left leg as the blade had extended once more. Once she was on her feet, Yori executed Shunpo with the intention of putting as much distance between herself and the older Shinigami. As he said the Kido spell, Yori winced as she forced herself to launch upwards and dodge it as much as was possible in her current condition.
She was wounded in actuality. When her feet came into contact with the floor, the young girl tucked into herself so that she would not be damaged any more than she was already. As she stopped rolling, Yori touched her wounds tentatively. The headache had been bothering her throughout the whole ordeal but this was a bit more pressing. Her hands returned to her vision covered in dripping blood. Incidently, she smiled at this. "Nice," she shouted at Tetsu-Taicho from her position on the floor, "You really want to make me work for this, don't you?" A chuckle escaped her as her neck and leg continued to tarnish the hardwood flooring. 'You're bleeding,' the smooth voice came again out of her subconscious, 'We have to help her!' Despite the urgent tone of this woman's voice, the previous calm that it had brought washed over Yori and kept her in check until the other voice made its response, at least. 'Serves the little wench right for being so reckless. Who the hell stays on the damn floor? Idiots do.' Just as she was beginning to feel peaceful, Yori groaned very loudly as the headache was exemplified momentarily and her wounds seemed to be aggravated for no good reason. 'Would one of you just help me then since I seem to be an idiot and getting my butt kicked for it?' Even as she thought this, Yori was doubting how well she would be able to battle with two conflicting personalities raging war inside of her head. 'Yes.' 'No.' 'We are not doing nothing, nee-san.' 'And I refuse to do something. She is weak.' 'Fine, I will save myself then.' Yori fixated her eyes on Tetsu-Taicho as she went through the motions of tearing the bottom of her clothes and wrapping the straps multiple times over each open wound so at least, she would not stain the flooring anymore. "Come on, Taicho, I am not dead yet. You'll have to do better than that." As she said this, Yori bent at the waist to dust her garments and with a quick glance over at her teacher, she faded into a Shunpo as the swords twirled in her hands. Once she came out of the specialized movement, Yori would appear solidly at her Captain's left side briefly before plunging the bottom of the kodachi upwards into his chin before using her flexibility to her advantage and bending so as to bring her left leg up close enough so that her foot could be lodged into the side of his face. However, her assault was not ending there as the kick would be part the passing movement that brings her leg back down so that she could twist around while staying low and extend her arms forward with the intention of stabbing him with both blades and bringing them upwards from his waist to his shoulders. Once that movement had been executed, Yori would return to the stance where her kodachi is in front of her and the wakizashi is up in the air behind her. Her face was relaxed still even though was bleeding like fountain from her neck and leg near the ankle. She was facing him. "Hey, one more thing. When we're done here, I get to keep these, right?" A smile passed over her lips as she made the inquiry but she was more than serious. Now all she had to worry about was getting one of those spirits in her head to lend her a hand or two. 'Not likely.' XXX ▲Let's play~▼ XXX

Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ Slightly relieved that she was about to dodge his attack, the Captain would follow her with eyes then turn around to watch her tumble to the ground. He was a little ticked that she was laughing about the whole ordeal. He thought that he would soon make her swallow that laugh. Tetsunosuke did a chiburi with his sword, slinging off the bone that had instantly turned into Reishi particles; he did not sheath his sword. "You will be cleaning your blood off my floor after you're done." Tetsu stated with bluntness.
His serious expression soon turned into concern as she released a groan, but she seemed to push through some internal struggle as she ripped the bottom of her clothes and wrapped her wounds; declaring him to come after her. Tetsunosuke's guard was done as she leaped into a Shunpo and came after him, her sword hit strong into his chin; blood spilled onto her hand as he was knocked back some. Sensing the kick coming next, he let it land; his hair was flung to the side and his face showed the force of her hit. Tetsunosuke had spikes erupted from the ground to cause a wall in between them; her swords would be deflected off of it. His right foot would be planted on the ground as he gained his footing again. Tetsu moved his hand to push the hair out of his face, yet at the same time the spikes would retreat into the ground. He smiled and shook his head. "Why would you want those things for?" Tetsunosuke said while he moved to attack her again, he griped his sword with both hands and charged forward. His dash would be hard for her to keep up, but the distance between them wasn't far. His sword was above his head as he took a step with his right foot and brought the sword down on her. She would either have to block with the swords, or use her Zanpakuto. The strength he used in his attack was enough to break the swords if she had tried blocking with them. He did this for her advancement; he thought that maybe her Zanpakuto spirits were upset with her about using some generic swords. He wouldn't make any further moves after his strike. The attack would cause the floor to rip up as he brought it down to his left side. ◤

XXX Yamashita Yori Rokubantai-Fukutaicho 『"I'm new here but I'll show you around. Don't worry."』 XXX Yori grunted and jumped back from the spike that rose suddenly and managed to deflect her blades as well as separate her from her target. She landed deftly on the floor and kept her hands lowered, eyes trained on Tetsu-Taicho's stature. Her smile had not left once but it did deepen as soon as she saw that her teacher was ready to make a proper counter-attack. She began to walk backwards as fast as she could without dashing but something tells her that not even that would have helped with the force that he had been haboring for that strike. Instinctively, as she saw the katana coming down to slash a part of her, the young Shinigami raised both the kodachi and wakizashi to block the one katana. Unfortunately for her, such basic logic did not apply in this situation. Her eyelids closed to guard her eyes against the falling shards of both broken swords. Regretably, she was thankful that he did not make any further movements and Yori allowed herself to move away from the man via Shunpo. Instead of dusting her clothes, she shook herself mercilessly until she was sure that nothing was still on her person. Involuntarily, her chest was heaving and her head was spinning with an influx of adrenaline. She could not focus and began to walk around in a dazed state for a few seconds, igoring Tetsu-Taicho's presence completely, circling the same general area.
'I told you that she was weak,' came the first voice. A nagging pain entered her mind as it continued, 'Why are we staying with her? It is obvious that her skills are nothing but parlor tricks. However, that's giving too much credit, eh?' A sigh escaped from the other side of a vast, dark imaginary room that Yori had to put herself into as she continued to wander aimlessly in the actual training room. 'Since you have so much insight, why don't you help her? It would make my turn that much easier. What about it, nee-san?' The soothing, nuturing tones of the second, female speaker were accepted wholeheartedly but personally, Yori was getting tired of this back and forth and absolute disregard for her mental stability. Still imagining herself in the dark room, she faced from where the unfriendly sensations were coming. 'Why will you not help me? You keep talking and talking. Show yourself if you are that powerful. Help me...because you cannot survive if I am dead. b***h!' Taking herself out of that imaginary place, Yori fell to her knees on the hardwood flooring and grabbed the sides of her head - preparation for what was to come. It seemed like centuries instead of seconds before the door would burst open with hot winds that no one could ignore even if they tried. They circled the room once before blowing over and over around Yori's hunched form. 'You think that you can touch me, child? That my power belongs to you? Ha! You make me sick!' It was different from the other times. The voice was not limited to her head. It seemed to pounding against the walls, rocking through her very bones with strength that brought tears to the girl's eyes.
It took a while but she answered quietly, "Yes." Fortunately, that was all it took for her to find her voice again. Yori removed her hands even though the walls were still vibrating and her bones were rattling within her as if she was only a sack holding them. Slowly and grudgingly, she pushed herself multiple times to a standing position, settling on being hunched over but on her feet all the same. "You are a part of me. If I am weak," she shouted, staring at the shaking walls. There had been one or two times before when she had been scared but this was taking the cake definitely. Eventually, her eyes found her Captain and she twisted her mouth at him before finishing her statement in a whispered voice, "You are weak." There was no actual explosion but it sure felt like it as more hot air seemed to burst through all of the walls forcefully and to meet at a point in front of the girl, forming a smoking figure as they did so. "Big words for a little girl. One shot." It was the first time that she had listened to the spirit and there was no anguish to be felt. In fact, she had sounded almost human. With that said, the smoke faded from sight and the pounding vibrations throughout the room ceased immediately. 'Don't push it, girl.' Yori breathed. 'What do you want me to do?' 'Call me. You have known my name for this long. Release me so that you can see why I hate you.' She bit her lip at the words and tears sprang at the corner of her eyes for the second time within that one session. Of course, the spirit was right. Silently, Yori strode over to the handles of her expired blades and stuck them into her wrap. Her eyes flickered over her teacher once more before she untied her sack of cards and pulled out the one marked distinctly for fire. With the sack back in place, she held it out in the middle of her right palm. The air was cool now and for some reason that irritated her skin so much. "Sutoraiku, Nokoribi!"
To say that it was anti-climatic would be a stretch. After shouting almost defiantly the Shikai release command, all that occurred was the deck of cards burning to ashes that eventually blew away on a stray wind. A whole minute passed before Yori curled her hands into very tight almost white fists and screamed like there was no one to hear her. 'Nee-san!' What? 'I think that you forgot something.' 'Did I?' 'Yeah, you kind of did. Help her even if it is prove yourself right, please.' It seemed like ages before Yori's temperature began to rise steadily and the burning aura that she would grow to love began to circle outwards into her surroundings. 'Take your deck of cards. I won't let this work any other way.' Yori stiffened momentarily but did as she was told. With the standard deck in her hands, she stared down at them. 'What are you waiting for? Attack.' However, the Shinigami stood there like a statue. "You asked me why I would want to keep these swords, O Tidy One. Here is my response." She stepped forward and lost herself in another Shunpo before solidifying a few feet away from Tetsu-Taicho at his left. Once whole, ten cards were sent in the man's direction as Yori shouted, "Shuutexingu Sutaa." She moved to his right just as quickly and placed the edge of one of the cards against her lips, blowing on it. "Hi ga Ochiru." As the words left her mouth, two towering flaming cyclones rushed out to meet her opponent. Still shouting to be heard over the raging flames, the girl continued with her response. "As for your floors, how about you do it? I didn't mean to get hurt now, did I?" Finally, she was feeling like her old self again and it was partly in thanks to Nokoribi giving in a little. If only, she did not have to sacrifice her parent's gift to her in order to do it. XXX ▲Let's play~▼ XXX

Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ Tetsunosuke's attack was successful; it was just as he had planned. With her retreating Shunpo, the Captain did not follow suit after her. Instead, he raised his guard and waited to see what came from the lose of weapons. Tetsunosuke watched on as she shook the shards of he broken katana off; a smart move to say the least. A concerned look came over him though, after Yori started going in circles; as if she was in a daze. "Yamashita-san!" He exclaimed. But before Tetsunosuke could make a move, she fell to her knees and clenched her skull. 'Is she going insane due to her Zanpakutos!?' Tetsu inwardly thought. Before he could make a step, a burst of heat would wash over him, instantly causing him to sweat and gnaw his teeth. The heat would cause tears to form in his eyes as he drew his left hand over his face, but nothing came of doing this.
A voice that belonged to a woman suddenly rang into the room. It's boom brought a shake to the foundation, and a rattle to the walls. He was a little agitated that his dojo was taking such a beating today. "Oi! Stop screwing with my dojo, Zanpakuto." He murmured as he caught his breath from the heat. Yori started speaking to her spirit, 'finally...progress.' Tetsunosuke peeked a look to Yori after she had replied to her sword. He noticed her begin to say something, it was inaudible to him, which made him self conscious of what she said. After this though, he witnessed her Zanpakuto's spirit take a shape in front of Yori before disappearing. Baffled as why she would start crying at a time like this, Tetsunosuke readied his sword with both hands once more. Yori removed a playing card from her satchel of cards, and returned her glare back toward him. A chill ran up Tetsu's body as a reaction to the cold air, just as that happened, Yori released her Zanpakuto.
Her loud scream caused Tetsunosuke to smirk as he squatted with his legs, and reared his his arms to one side to slice through something. A small flicker of heat was felt from Yori's direction as Tetsu noticed the cards she reached for. Tetsunosuke listened, but didn't respond, he waited for her Shunpo, which she entered and exited to his left. He wordlessly cast a strong enough Danku to defend against he unknown attack; two-hundred flaming shurikens impaled themselves into his Bakudo as he move his right leg to face his right. Tetsunosuke was caught by surprise, with the captains, he knew most of their Zanpakutos, but her's was guessed to be fire, but nothing like this. The fiery cyclones struck hard against him, burning his exposed skin. He'd moved his sleeve over his face, and was reading a Shunpo for an exit. With the quickest Shunpo he could forge, the flames wouldn't contort to his exit until after he was behind Yori. "It's not my job to do the Lieutenant's job." He said while towering behind her, smoke would be rising from the superior portions of his body. Some of his hair had been burnt, and its length had shorten just a tad. A slightly annoyed expression would be seen on his face as a blunt edged bone erected from the ground, and was aimed for Yori's sternum. "Oh, and as for swords, I have a whole cabinet full of them. Though, how will Nokoribi feel about you wielding those?" He asked after pulling his sword back from the swing and taking his normal stance. "Can you rely on something that isn't a part of you? Perhaps that is why had such a difficult time mastering Nokoribi's Shikai. I can only imagine how long it'll take you with that mentality to even obtain Bankai, let alone master it." The Captain added as he smirked and shrugged his shoulders. ◤ ((Let me know if this is all right. I'm suffering from lack of imagination.))

XXX Yamashita Yori Rokubantai-Fukutaicho 『"I'm new here but I'll show you around. Don't worry."』 XXX Yori turned at the sound of the man's voice now behind her. Her eyes had not been able to keep up with his latest Shunpo but part of her was glad that he had survived the fiery cyclones. It meant that he would not go down easily, just the way she liked it. She smirked at his comment that it is her duty to clean up the dojo. "Well, I won't argue with that." However, as she watched him, the sound of breaking ground caught her attention which made her look down in time to see a bone pushing upward and beyond; its aim seemed to be her chest. She tried to dodge it by moving to the side but the bone simply tore away apart of her right upper arm. "Thanks, Taicho," she replied sarcastically, reverting her focus to what he was saying now. While she listened to him some more, the smirk eased itself off of her face and she blinked at him with a very blank expression. She had not thought about how her Zanpakuto would feel about her wielding swords that had nothing to do with them. However, such thoughts led to the memory that neither of them had supplied weaponry for her in the first place as well as that she would only need other blades when not using either Shikai or Bankai. Realizing that she was almost tricked, quite expertly, into doubting her own abilities and potential control her swords, Yori grinned at her Taicho before laughing in his face without any form of inhibition. This blatant giggling fit did not last for long as what she said next required a serious tone. "How dare you, Tetsu-Taicho," she whispered, allowing an emotion to seep into her facial features at long last, namely anger. She covered the pack with both of her hands. He had managed to dodge two of the offensive attacks available to her in Nokoribi's Shikai. There was one more but it was the end all of the first release. She could not go back without canceling and then, reinstating it. Yori shook her head and cleared her face of the anger as she thought, 'Fusion no Oobu: Hikari no Yari.' At once, the card deck became ablaze, burning to a crisp while a blue spherical flame took shape. With the orb formed, Yori rushed towards the man with both hands on the ball. As soon as she was close enough to smell him, at least, her uninjured hand dipped into the fiery sphere and called out a spear that was made entirely out of the blue flames and about twice as long as Yori was tall. With the new weapon, she pushed herself even more forward into a dash and lunged with spear in hand to pierce her Captain hopefully in his shoulder. Currently, she had three pressing wounds to endure but it would be more than worth it if at the end of this session, she is able to prove that she can master Nokoribi.

Tetsunosuke Harasawa Sixth Division's Captain ◥ Tetsunosuke was impressed she was able to dodge the attack to her chest, thus only receiving some damage to her arm. After he finished speaking to Yori, he noticed that her expression changed slightly, it was unfamiliar at first, but it soon went back to an expression he'd seen before. Yamashita's serious tone did not cause him to flinch at all, instead he hoped she would act like this; anger would be her down fall in this training exercise. Tetsu watched, and raised his sword; a feeling would well up inside of him. "Dang it..." He took a step back and covered his left eye that had momentarily started to change color. "can't you start start this later?! Now isn't the best time to argue with me about who's suppo-ack!." His words were muffled as his Inner Hollow forced itself to take center stage. A dual-type Reiatsu would be even more predominant as he reared his head back, which now sported a Hollow mask and changed eye color. The Hollow would see Yamashita's movements clearly and wouldn't move. The mask would open, sporting a sinister image. The Bankai of Tetsunosuke's sword would be activated in a response to the upcoming attack, which would pierce Tetsu's shoulder, and cause the cloak of his bankai form to catch on fire. No sound of pain was heard from the body, nor did it even budge and inch from where Yori stabbed him. With a Zombified left hand, the Inner Hollow would reach up, and grab Yori by the wrist, taking hold of it with a deathly grip. A Cero would be concentrated at the mouth of the mask and released straight at Yori. After firing it, the Hollow would open his hand, though that would only be the case if it were still there, and Yori was still there.◤
