At first Florian was a tad bit hesitant with taking a little escape from the herd. She had never ventured out into the woodlands on her own as she always had at least her sister at her side, but Florian decided that it would be better to see the forest by herself. That way she wouldn’t have Briallan there to tell her otherwise. The young female slipped out from the den without being noticed and quickly galloped out into the woodlands. She wondered if the bunny family she came across with Briallan still hopped around within the thicket, singing their songs of merriment and joy. Or maybe the ice that covered the pond was thawed so that she could take a gander of what lurked below the murky waters.
Florian had a goofy grimace on her lips as she trotted about, taking notice of the birds singing in the trees to the teeny tiny mice that scurried across the forest’s floor. This was going to be an exciting day! Her ears perched forwards as she tossed her mane.

Her wild purple mane blowing in the cool forest breeze she plodded along at a steady pace just enjoying a quiet midday nature stroll. Inhaling deeply she caught the scent of . . .roses? Impossible those dent grow out here she thought. They grew a little due east of here almost exclusively. Something picked at her memory . . .something that scent reminded her of something avidly though she couldn't quite place her hoof on it. Picking up her stroll to a purposeful walk she went in the direction if the scent. A small filly adorned with roses was milling about quite happily. The way the filly looked mixed with the scent made the memory click in her mind. That pregnant mare she had met a few months back this must be one of her off spring. And judgeing by the fact she was alone and venturing she took after her mother quote throughly. "what are you doing out here alone little one?." she asked from behind her with a gentle smile to counteract her surely somewhat frightening apperance.

Florian jumped in surprised and made a little squeaky noise as she did so, leaping behind a nearby large tree. Her legs quivered as she looked over the side of it to a mare standing a couple feet away. Florian gulped quietly as she stared at the stranger. “Who…who are you?” she asked, feeling her body shake even more. She had heard stories of not-so nice Sows that would eat little foals like her. The young filly pulled her head back, hiding it from view as she stood behind the tree. She breathed in deeply and held her breath for a quick moment before exhaling quite loudly.
Florian’s tail swished as she pulled her mane back before leaping out from behind the tree. She stared at the strange, odd mare with a grimace with her head pulled back and her chest puffed out.
“I’m not afraid…” she paused and became silent. Florian’s eyebrows furrowed as she tilted her head to the side. “WOW! LOOK AT THAT!” she nodded her head to the mare before trotting over to her. Giddy little giggles escaped from her vocals as she walked up closer to the strange mare, looking up to her with a bright smile. “What’s that on your head? I like it!” she complimented. “What’s this too?” she asked, nudging her head to the breastplate. “And that!” she took gander at the different tack on the mare.
Many, many questions about this and that she asked as she began to circle the mare. “What’s your name? I’m Florian!” she excitedly said.

An amused smile creased her lips as she watched the reactions and changes of those reactions to her rather sudden appearance. She had so much energy Then the questions so many of them all at once and course she would answer each in turn once she got her chance to speak again. Thank goodness her patience was nearly endless as was her love for foals. At first however she was unsure of how exactly to react initially but then her sub conscious made the choice for her light hearted laughter burst fourth in the form of an amused chuckle. "I am Thesh-ah and these are battle vestments passed down from generation to generation through my family lines. My mask is a story for when your older" she replied thinking it would perhaps be to dark a tale for a young foal to hear so she avoided the subject skillfully "speaking of family I think I know your mother her name is shoshawna correct?" she asked. Getting a closer view of the young one she now noted that she was a dead ringer for her mother.

Florian nodded her head with a bright smile. “Yup! That’s my Mother indeed,” she nodded her head as she stopped prancing around the mare and now stood in front of her. “My Pa’s name is Oracle and I have a brother AND sister,” she said just as brightly as her features. “But they’re all back there,” she glanced over her shoulders. “Somewhere,” her voice low as her eyebrows furrowed. Florian tilted her head to the side as she looked behind her into the woodlands. She wasn’t sure which way was the correct route back to her little family. Shaking her head she figured it wasn’t all that important right now. Florian turned back to Thesh-ah. She pursed out her lips as she stepped forwards wanting a better look at the mare. As she was only a couple inches away, Florian pulled back onto her hind legs with her ‘knees’ resting against Thesh-Ah’s chest.
“They’re different,” Florian said as she nodded her head to the different tack. “I like different,” she smiled. Florian dropped down onto her hooves with her head raised looking up at the mare. “Can you take that off?” she asked, speaking out the helmet. “I want to see! OH CAN I? I PROMISE NOT TO TELL ANYONE!” she wiggled in excitement.
Florian paused for a brief moment. “Wait. How do you know my Mother?” she finally asked.

Thesh let her poke around all she liked she didn't mine even in the slightest. "thank you i just polished it all the other day." he beamed proudly "A brother and a sister goodness your mother certainly has her hooves full I wager! With all three of you." she stated with a shake of her head just thinking of it. "I met your mother awhile back while you were still all cozy in her belly. I think it was a little over . . .five months ago? She had a clover craving I believe and I helped her find some she's a wonderful mare your very lucky to have her. And I'm afraid the mask won't come off here go ahead give it a tug." she said leaning down to allow her to try it.

Florian laughed softly and shook her head. “No. I believe you. It looks quite hard to take off anyways. Does it feel heavy? It sure looks like it does,” she asked with a sweet smile. Florian’s body swayed side to side lightly as she looked at Thesh-Ah. “It’s nice to meet someone who knows my Mother. I’ve rarely had a chance to meet anyone else yet. Please don’t tell her that I snuck off though. She won’t be too happy about that and then she’ll keep an awful good eye on me,” Florian begged. She liked these little escape adventures because she could do anything that SHE wanted without anyone nagging her and such. The smile on her lips blossomed as she stopped swaying and just swished her tail about. “A clover craving, huh? I’ve never had clover before. What does it taste like? Sounds really delicious!” she squeaked with a little jump.
Florian giggled as she lowered her gaze from Thesh-Ah and began to look around. “Does it grow on a tree? Or maybe a bush?” she asked, stepping to a large pine tree. “Does it look like these? I gave one to my sister once,” she asked nudging to a pinecone. “Or what about something like that?” she nodded her head to a bush that had berries growing on it.
“Clover…Hm…” she pondered for a brief moment and then returned her gaze to the mare. “Can you help me find some like you did with my Mom? Please oh please,” Florian begged. She pouted out her lips and gave the adorable ‘puppy eyes’ look.

Tossing back her head she let out a boisterous laugh she couldn't help it looking in those big doe eyes just made all the happiness within her rise up. Like she was the bucket on a rope coming up from a deep well of cool clear water. "It was heavy when i first put it on but Ive grown quite accustomed to its weight over the years." she looked down once more and smiled studying the young one before her carefully. Her questions her manner her lack of fear, her willingness to get to know someone despite their appearance was usually unusual for one so young but strangely thesh-ah would have expected nothing less. she knelt down so they were eye to eye her voice was kind but somewhat stearn. light but weighted with seriousness. "I'm going to tell you the same thing i told your mother when i met her wondering about nearly ready to burst all on her own. I don't advise you wonder about on your own its not safe not at your age or in her condition. Now i will take you to the clover and i wont tell on you but then you must promise not to wonder off by yourself until you've at least had some combat training to protect yourself." she paused tilting her head with a smile. "do we have a deal?" she added

Florian looked to Thesh-Ah for a brief moment and debated with herself if such a deal should be made. “I cannot wander on my own?” she asked. “But where’s the fun and adventure in that? I can take care of myself!” she puffed out her little chest to look somewhat intimidating but that was a pure fail. She sighed deeply as she lowered her gaze by dipping down her head a bit. Her ears pulled back and Florian knew that she wouldn’t be able to see the clovers if she didn’t agree to the deal. A deep sigh escaped from her vocals as she nodded her head. “Alright. You win,” she muttered. Florian glanced up to Thesh-Ah with a grimace. “You’ve won this round. But next time I’ll win,” she giggled happily with her tail swaying gently side to side.
“Wait!” the little filly squeaked. “Could you train me? If you train me I’m sure I’ll become the strongest filly in all the lands!” she laughed. Florian tilted her head to the side but first blew a couple strands of her mane out from in front of her face. “Come on! It’ll be fun!” she smiled brightly looking at the mare.

Her bones popped audibly as she got back up from kneeling due to years of wear and tear. Battles fought and victories won defending those who could not defend them selfs. "Train you?" she paused walking a slow circle around the young foal before her. Each step was deliberate her eyes constantly shifting all over examining every applicable detail. Florian clearly had the desire, the energy, and the wit. Good breeding and knowing what she knew of the foals mother a more than applicable over all personality. "We can go one of two ways i can teach you a few simple maneuvers or I can train you as i was trained make you all that you can be." she said at last with a snort and a shake of her mane.
((OOC: Hey this might be something you would be interested in for her XxX thesh-ah is actually one of the teachers Florian could be thesh-ah apprentice. I have tons of ideas! ))

Florian looked to Thesh-Ah with her chest puffed out a bit to look somewhat intimadating, though she knew very well that a little filly looked far from scary and threatening. Her eyes followed the mare as she walked around her body. Florian shifted a little bit on her hooves as she began feeling nervous. What if Thesh-Ah turned her down? Florian lowered her head a bit with her ears flattening against her head. “I-I can do…a good job,” she said hestiantly as the mare continued to circle around her. Florian closed her eyes for a brief moment as Thesh-Ah began to speak to her.
Florian was getting prepared to hear the words ‘no’ or some other way of saying the word. She sighed deeply as she raised her head. But suddenly, it was as if Florian’s thoughts had flipped flopped! Thesh-Ah agreed to train the spirited filly!
Florian griamced in joy and swayed her tail in excitement.
“I want to prove to you…prove to everyone else that I can do wonderous things,” Florian said. “Train me to way you were,” Florian said proudly as she looked at the mare.

Thesh-ah smiled proudly at the tiny filly before her. There was a certain hopeful glow and confidence that reminded her of herself when she was just foal saying nearly the same thing to her own mother. Bowing herself down to eye level with her new pupil she spoke softly words of admiration. "it seems you've done half my training for me already young one." Giveing her hoof a stamp like a human might strike their spear against their sheild for curage. "Training the heart of a guardian tempering it with the resolve to allow for true greatness by protecting others." Straightening back to full height. "now let's get to work on the rest."
(( hey you wanna make the closing post on this one this looks like as good a place to quit as any.)))
