Alright! For those of you who don't know: In honor of Gundam Wing's 15th birthday, they have come out with a new novel series for it. It takes place roughly thirty, yes I said thirty, years after Endless Waltz. For those of you who have heard of it, go to google and search for it, and possibly find translations that aren't done by corpus_yaoi. (If you're here, I'm sorry, your translations hurt my head.) If you do find a translation not done by her, please let me know.
I, personally, have started to fall in love with this. It's nice to meet Sally's daughter and to see the small amounts of banter between the guys that have made their reappearance. I'm only four chapters in with information. Chapter 5 is out and I'm waiting for a kind soul to translate it for me. The worst part for me is getting bogged down with battle description and history lessons. I prefer to watch battles rather than read about them. (What can I say? I like my booms.) The politics are something I need to listen to to fully understand. I find it very hard to read. I've been loving reading about character pasts that we've never seen before. I never knew Treize had a little brother.
Anyways, enough with my ramblings. What do you guys think about it?

I'm more or less caught up so now I can divide my time between reading the translations and my regular work. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it'll be officially translated and published.

Heard about it, but haven't kept up with this. Wish I knew where to find it, so I can do so.
That said, I do have some interesting UC Gundam stuff -- three volumes of MS Pilot Manuals -- that could use some translating (not scanlating), if anyone knows how to read Japanese. I'm not so hot (read: terrible), so if anyone's interested, drop me a line.

Oh boy! I can't believe I missed this! Well, you know what they say, better late than never. I will have to pick up this book some time.
I felt a little thrill of excitement because I've long had an idea for a fanfiction about something like this. Except it would be more like twenty years, not thirty! xD
I believe I even started writing it, now that I'm thinking about it. At least the first chapter. I wonder where it is . . .

Sounds fascinating ... I'm sure once more people know about it there will be plenty of willing translators ... not to mention an official publication for us in the states. ^_^

Well i have been following this novel for 2 years and quite frankly the story plot will give you an such of huge headaches and confusion , Some will argue with you the series is NEVER CANON calling it an poorly written fanfics others think not . Right now they haven't gone into the true story development , the last 19 chapter is nothing much introducing of many characters . But i did like the flash back of the main character life . You gonna get some head turning and WTF moment with this novel , its really hard for me to really explain to you What is Frozen teardrops really is ? Because the translations are being translated only in summaries format . But if you guys really want to know about the series go check out this link Gundam Wiki . I get my translation on Anime suki, com in a message board but i dont know if they still doing it I am not going to give up on this novel i have all ready jump on the bang waging .

::raises her hand:: Yep, I'm one of those people. As far as I'm concerned Frozen Teardrop is just horrible fanfiction that I will never accept as canon. Big thumbs down. XP
